I wouldn’t say it’s ruining cinema. That’s a stretch to me. It’s just a different type of cinema/story telling. There’s a reason Super Hero movies never are nominated/win awards like Oscars for categories like “Best Picture” and “Best Director” “Best Actor” etc etc.
Scorsese didn’t get an Oscar until The Departed I’m sure ... or was it The Wolf Of Wall Street? Not sure but it took a while for the academy to give him an award , not that it means anything

I guess i would say i don't think Marvel is looking to win Oscars, the same way Arnold and Sylvester made movies that weren't designed to win awards they were just fun movies that told a particular story. I take movies as serious as the next guy but when i watch movies such as the Marvel films i have to kind of turn off the critic hat because i don't watch that type of film to look for critical acclaim i just wanna see some shit blown up and what character is gonna cross over etc.

To your cinema take, I think the moment we start labeling certain films as “cinema” is when we start to limit what a film can be. Ultimately, if people want to support good films, they should speak with their wallets. And if directors and producers are sick of superhero movies, then they have to create something that has mass appeal. Otherwise, they should realize that kids and teenagers aren’t going to be asking their parents to take them to watch “The Irishman”.

I think you’d be really into fingerstyle guitar you should check out mike Dawes Calum graham Andy McKee and tommy Emmanuel. They’re some of the best guitarists in the world I think you’d dig them. They play in crazy tunings and like drum on the body of the guitar and stuff.
