They all have siblings - RM has a younger sister, Jimin has a younger brother, and Tae has a younger brother and sister. Jin, Suga and Jungkook all have older brothers and Hobi has an older sister.
Fun fact: not only did Jin hug a 1,000 ARMY but he also gave them a beautiful bouquet & clock!!! Also, yes BTS does a lot for the fans. Although since they have gotten so big & they a lot of times donate (privately) to different charities in stuff….
Just about the comment about the private jet...it took literal YEARS for BTS to break even, even when they started to do well. I heard Band PD say in a recent interview that when BTS debuted Bighit was 10million in debt so they had a huge hole they had to dig themselves out of. I think it took them many years to become commercially successful, etc and I think it was in their book (or somewhere else) that Yoongi said (in so many words) that he felt embarrassed when they started winning music shows with I Need U with thoughts that they weren't as financially well off as people would expect for the level of their success at the time or something like that and that was mid 2015 so it took years for them to see $$. They did start to fly private planes sometime in 2018/19 partly bc they could now afford it, but also a huge reason was to avoid serious level stalkers who would literally buy info of when/where their flights and there would be a dozen stalkers on the same flights with them just staring and photographing them on planes. Super creepy.
JK's school was like a performing arts school,. Many idol trainees, even BTS members, would attend such schools so allowances could be made for idol training schedules
I agree with RM and Suga being insane rappers but once you get more into them you will see J-Hope is equally insane 😮💨 it took me awhile to notice but now I cant ignore J-Hope’s aura and talent🔥 Also glad you’re enjoying this series ☺️💜
Suga actually said once that BigHit contacted him with an intent to sign him to the company as a producer even before the audition ended and he recieved the second place. he was one of the few, if not the only one who didn't just rap to the given beat but processed the beat to his liking thus showed both his producing and rapping abilities

N the bts book which everyone told u is like an autobiography of them of 10 years of their life as bts... Pretty deeps stuff in it.. them comming out with some struggles we never even knew... .. ya it gets emotional.. if u want they have the audiobook of it on audible...
in 2014 JIN was 20 in 2014, until December 4, then he turned 21. Remember that what age they say is Korean age, one to two years older than Global age.
Talking about exhaustion... Reminds me of those clips of bts really just collapsing once they got down the stage... Having to have those pump oxygen thingys back stage during concerts... Gosh... My hardworking babies.... That' y we keep begging them to go on break.. but these guys i tell u peachy... JK has always been an extroverted introvert he is the only Idol who is more than delulu in the army that love him! 😂 He's so loving you should react to Love letters by Army a song from BTS and also RM, jimin and Jungkook reactions to the song. To be confused with Jimins letter ( dear army) which you should check out as well they still have crazy rules but BTS is so big now they can do almost anything they want and that is why they are intent on breaking down industry walls what BTS does other groups follow and they are using the influence can you change the industry honestly the fastest rapper that I have seen is suga RM and suga oh my God I cannot wait until the album comes out! RM is so amazing! And honestly the saying BTS paved the way Might piss other groups fandoms off but I'm telling you peachy it could not be more true even even the groups that the fandoms are from have admitted that!

Suga missing his parents makes me so soft. It makes me really appreciate my own so much. I’m 2 years older than Jin and due to some really tough circumstances the last couple of years my 4 year old and I had to move back in with my parents and will be joined soon by my partner. Without hesitation they supported us, helped clear out and move from our house and have provided my daughter and I with unconditional support. It’s been such a hard road and I wouldn’t have gotten through without them. Not only that, I discovered BTS around 2021 when the first of the shit hit the fan, so I feel like I’ve also had their support through this time.

You are coming close in Rise of Bangtan showing "I Need U" MV which is the beginning of the BU (the alternate universe storyline) and let me recommend you watch that MV first because you can only watch it once and you may possibly get spoiled via RoB and trust me, you want to experience it as a whole MV. Last I knew you were watching MVs behind RoB, but in this case, really... try and watch "I Need U" and then Butterfly Prologue second (and Run if you're feeling spicy)
Would you be able to check out 'An introduction to BTS discography Chapter 1 by Boracity Magazine, she expain's all thru the year's from pre debut 2013 to music from i believe 2022
It is all the music she found but there is pre-debut music missing and e.g. a song Suga produced for someone else. Not to mention that some of her interpretations are of. But if you want an overview what kind of music they had: sure. it's very good for that.
53:52 Sadly Ilhoon is one of the canceled idols in kpop. BTOB is very well known in Korea, they still give concerts but only 4 of them, the 5th member is working on his solo career (as an actor and singer) and the 6th member is dedicating himself to making content since his throat needs a break. BTOB has a special place in my heart, thanks to them I introduced myself into kpop and BTS

I am learning Korean because of BTS, I do not have anyone to talk too but as I am going through K Drama, K Music, I get myself understanding words and I get so happy.
Suga came in second in the rap competition, but he admitted last year that he was the only competitor who took the track and remixed it. The day before the competition, Big Hit signed him on. He didn’t even need to compete. 🎤 drop.
keep in mind bts had some rules as trainees and early debut maybe first 2 years at most. obv theres gonna be some rules just like any job in the world but bts didnt nearly have as many rules as sm yg or jyp. also keep in mind this is a label by label group by group case. so if you see as the girl says no junk food no going out and you see clips of bts outside. i wont pretend bts didnt have any rules at all but now bts literally go where ever they want alone without security. so like you can assume many of the rules were for when they were kids and rookies. like 2016 i think there was a huge shift and most rules were gone besides common job rules. also its tricky because the plastic surgery thing is i get what hes saying because some labels do ask for idols to do that however its very common in korean society in general for kids to be gifted plastic surgery on their 18th birthday because colleges and jobs look at your photo and if they dont like how you look they can deny you from the school or job. so i get it, it shouldnt be forced especially on idols who dont want it but some english speaking idols who didnt grow up in korea and are from western countries/ austrailia which is very similar to a western country exaggerate or generalize things like im not trying to knock their experiences but many other idols and korean artists have said how they dont like the generalizations especially when something is common in korean society in general to then be framed as a kpop issue. idk. i think its good for asians/koreans/idols to talk about these issues but i also think there needs to be nuance because non asians take it and run with making dark side of kpop articles and videos and then every artist in korea is being discredited. so idk try to keep these things in mind when idols tell their experiences, know its ok to acknowledge what they personally went through but dont go on to say "idols" because we dont know what other idols had that. example it may not look like it due to filters and editing etc but V, jhope and Rm are all much darker than the beauty standard calls for and while photos and videos may be edited like the ones from official sources like korean media and they may look very pale but in real life they all but especially those 3 have darker skin tones than what is shown. also another layer that may have added to ambers situation is amber is taiwanese - american foreign idols get treated badly often in korea but especially non korean/non asian foreign idols. thats another thing most dont know is kpop is not just koreans born in korea, koreans born in other countries etc theres many other asian ethnicity, as well as people who arent asian at all or arent east asian etc i hear the non korean but still asian idols get treated badly like chinese, japanese, taiwanese, south east asian etc im not sure why but that factors into personalized negative experiences as well. and from what ive seen which isnt much because i dont really look at other groups often but bts label didnt force plastic surgery or skin color changing neither did the group mamamoos label because one of the members named hwasa got mocked for her darker skin tone and she still has it so that shows that wasnt forced on her. so its label by label case by case idol by idol sometimes depending on your ethnicity/race etc.
Some Idols choose plastic surgery because they are afraid they will not debut otherwise and the label does not pressure them. Nevermind that a lot of that is far cheaper there than somewhere else. You want to laser hair of? Easy and cheap. I think Suga did it because he could not be bothered to have to shave regulary. And I'm surprised that you are surprised that the Koreans are not so nice to other Asian people because these are still foreigners and you can see it. Not to mention that the history with quiet a few of these countries is not nice either. China and Japan come to mind but i do not know what the history is with the others. Personaly I like bby gang mag's video essay series beginning with "you are wrong about K-pop". He shows - as you said - how deeply missunderstood the scene is. There is naturally the rest of Korean culture, too.
@@ruthfischer7615yes sorry I should've explained better about the ethnicity and race its less of me being surprised and more so I don't understand why it happens in general like all forms of racism and prejudices against anyone is mind-boggling to me not that it happens but why people do it I get the out of ignorance versions but like the need to feel superior just is so strange and disturbing to me so it's not I'm surprised it happened but don't understand why people choose to do it because it's a very little window of applying to just be out of ignorance. example I know media skews how people in other countries react to people from certain countries but also different cultures races and religions the surface level would be based on influence from media. but the deeper disdain some have where they know its wrong to say or do and they do it anyway that's not ignorance anymore so I'm like why? why do that to someone. that's what I meant. also I know Japan and Korea history a little bit so I understand koreans not liking japanese in some situations but just like I don't get some japanese deep hatred for koreans I don't get some knetz treatment of japanese idols for example. I see koreans say vile things about Chinese Japanese Thai Indian Vietnamese Indonesian etc and I'm just so confused why. like of course with Japan and I think China their colonizing will create a form or hatred automatically but the individual treatment based in ethnicity or nationality is odd. like ok if a japanese idol say something like the island korea owns is actually owned by japan that is a valid reason to criticize the japanese idol. but if the japanese idol is always respectful and has went out of their way to become a kpop idol when they could've became a jpop idol. they go to Korea learn Korean learn cultural differences learn the holiday norms etc I don't see why a korean would pick apart their looks and voice and just pick apart everything about them basically bullying just because they're japanese. same with how some japanese would do the same when kpop idols go to japan for work or vacation. that just is so unnecessary and vile sometimes. it's different if they say or do something offensive that they don't have the right to do or say vs just existence will get them hate. and south Asian south east Asian get it due to colorism as well. which again I don't understand. but I'm not surprised I knew it happened often. also I love bbygangmags videos his channel is a very large part in how I changed my thinking on many topics and keep trying to deeply explain in reactors comments because so many never react to his videos. and so many kpop fans don't request him enough or watch him enough so many are ignorant and never research which is why I understand now why so many koreans but asians in general love kpop is going mainstream we know its mainly bts but like they're happy kpop is getting attention but also annoyed so many non asians are entering their space without educating themselves.

They believe the stranger takes something from them, are a danger to their way of life. (and historically that happened not that rarely) Jewish people for example were victims of progroms in the middle ages because they died in smaller numbers during the pest. (Because of ritual cleanings - hygiene - while these were not part of the Christian believe system - the Christians attributed it to some kind of witchcraft on part of the Jewish people) History can be attributed for a lot. There are people that believe dark skin comes from not washing/being "evil" for example. It's lack of understanding, history and the need to be better than others (at least I'm not such and such - I'm better off than that), but also differences in culture. There is a friend of my sisters who is not that bright. She believes - among other things - that the foreigners get more from the state than she does. Her life had never been easy but she lets others influence her on this nonsense. I find it funny: Do they just get money for not working - that they don't get - or do they steal "our" jobs? (often jobs that we do not want to do in the first place; or jobs that these people are better qualified for but the state does not let them) It can be very very complicated.

58:11 Members parents used to live in different provinces & as all the members had to move to Seoul bcs that's where bighit was, it wasn't possible for them to go meet their parents or for their parents to come meet them whenever they wish. So for quite a few years after their debut, it would take a long time for them to each go to their own hometowns to meet their family, yeah if their family would come & attend any of their shows so they def. met them there. Then when each of them got stable enough, some brought their parents to Seoul, so it's easier for their family as well. Whereas some members family still choose to stay in in their respective hometowns (even till now) but even then, they brought their parents new house/new car there (i remember taehyung sharing with us how he was able to buy his fathers favorite car for him😭) IT STILL MAKES ME EMOTIONAL HOW PROUD EACH OF THEIR PARENTS MUST BE OF THEIR SONS & THEIR HARDWORK😭
You be you and the right people will find you and be there for you. BTS found a lot of us late in life and we all walked the road discovering who we are and what works for us, so don`t let the negative bring you down or stop you from discovering you. I personally don’t remember the whole back story but I remember V & Suga had health problems (I think mental or physical) & they had to cancel a rest of a show one time (Suga felt so bad & even sent a letter to ARMY)….There was another time RM I think got sick so he couldn’t be there… other times a member would get hurt so they sat on a chair while they performed live….
V & Suga did nit have health problems... well, maybe V did. Suga locked himself in the bathroom and stared in the mirror and could not go on stage mentally. It's actually in his song "The Last".
there's one video where they were asked what song they are excited to perform, one of the boys screamed "fireeeee" and jimin expression went down so fast boy lost all will to live 😂😂

Oop I fell asleep but anyways just to be clear about the ages and how it works. In Korea when a baby is born, it is already considered 1 yrs old. Also Koreans don't age up on their birthdays, they age up on new years eve (1st Jan). Meaning that everyone ages up at the same time which is why for global/international age they are usually 1-2 yrs younger. Let me give an example, let's say that someone is born in December, they are already 1yrs old, then new year comes so now the baby is considered 2yrs old in Korean age even though its only like 1 month old or a few weeks old. So to not get it confusing I'd just say minus 1yr from their age since in this series their Korean age is mentioned. I hope this is clear explanation so that you don't get confused whenever their age is mentioned in the videos :D
I feel u on that.. before bts.. i was also very surface level at enjoying music.. well in my country we do have great music that i grew up with with alot of great lyrics.. but ya most if not all of them were usually romantic songs.. so ya.. bts was like one of the first musician i came across who had so many topics they talked about through music.. n i just started digging deeper n appreciating music more in general too... They made me so educated on so many different things.. u will understand when u r fully lost being full armys.. that being army is like having a degree in MULTIPLE things😭😂😂 its fun ...i have learned about music.. history...politics... Even geography.. the whole showbiz industry.. mythology... Psychology 😂 sooo many stufff...

14:30 Jin once commented how he was excited to perform a song other than Dynamite! Because of the pandemic they weren’t able to perform it in front of ARMYs plus it became so popular that they performed it longer than usual. As BTS has a vast discography they tend to move on pretty quickly. You can see it recently too. RM’s album dropped and only a month or so later Jimin’s dropped. Other artists might milk their releases for months but BTS has a tonne of content so keep things moving very quickly!

Namjoon's sister is younger. She recently opened a cafe. I would not be surprised if Namjoon is her investor. Hobi's sister worked - last time I heard from her - for another label. She is married and so are Jin's and Suga's brothers.

Do whatever feels comfortable for you. The only annoying thing is when reactors talk over the video or are barely paying attention to it but that's not your case at all. It's your journey and you should do what feels best for you 💜 I don't know if anyone told you but each chapter's name is the title of one of their songs! Namjoon is scary when mad, haha. He has that commanding aura about him. But he's usually really chill on camera. They did say that he was the most probably to cause an argument, but as the leader, it does make sense - he shoulders the whole group's mistakes. They rarely get seriously upset on camera but it happens sometimes. Especially during this period, both Namjoon and Yoongi were extremely angry because of their situation but they refrained from showing it. They all rightfully wondered why they received so much hate from everywhere Because of their hard schedule and the pressure of being Idols, their military service is like a vacation for them. They're all top soldiers and Jin even said that he was bored in the military. This is funny because people assumed that, as Idols, they would have a hard time during their service but it's the complete opposite. They are killing it, making friends and having a lighter, normal schedule. It is a good break for them and they do seem lighter They did have a lot of rules but they were much freer than other groups, fortunately It's impossible to compare the members because they all are excellent in different areas and different ways. The Rap Line is the best out there because they all are excellent at what they do and they each bring something different. The Vocal Line might not be the best vocalists out there with the best technique but they each have a unique voice and know how to use it best. They each bring their colour to make beautiful harmonies and they are amazing 💜 JK has an older brother and Jimin has a younger brother. None of them are an only child. He also needed an IV to hydrate and another time sliced the back of his heel dancing and that required stitches. He is my bias. I adore all 7 but JK is my DREAM! HYBE BTS agency is now the richest sometimes media says the Big 4 now. But army don't like that. So when u hear the term The Big 3 remember these agencies. Stray Kids are from one of the big 3. It's an important thing to know. BTS saw their families after 2 years for the 1st time after debut. Another group i think maybe Enhypen saw their families 1st time after 3 yrs. GOT7 actually spent yrs without seeing their families Jackson Wang a member said. And that is why at the end GOT7 did not renew their contract with their agency. BTS were huge inspiration to younger groups about writing songs. Now so many younger groups write their own music. U know Stray Kids do this because their CEO allows it. For the beauty aspect : Bang PD choose the boys for their talents and raw potential, not for their face . Except Jin, none of them fit the very strict "k pop male beauty standards" , that's why anti attack them so badly for being "ugly (!) or "not a idol face", specially RM and J hope, but also Jimin who suffer from body shaming because he was cheeky and not thin enough, poor angel. In korea working hard is a thing and it's starting when you are a student, they study 15 hours every day and barely sleep. And the workers have only one week vacation a year. The pressure is real, that's a topic in bts song N.O. It's a real problem in korea and that's why bts always repeating that they will work hard because it's cultural. By the way i am a new army since november 2023 i'm 48 years old and i'm from montreal. Bts found me when i needed them the most, they helped me in a very dark place ,that i still i'm in my life, but listening to their content or music really made a difference!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

the chicken and tiger animation is only something Army use. BTS has their own bt21 carecters who is not the same as these msg ones. army use a picture of a chicken to describe Jimin because he is the baby chick of the group and a tiger for V i think but i dont even know why they use that. but army put a picture of a chicken in when jimin is saying something it´s easier for translatores when they do weverse live. now it´s mostly AI translated in real time but not all of it and not well enough. we have many translators who translate real time on twitter so we can understand.

They didnot have skin brightening rules and all, this documentary really mixes up weird kpop company rules with BTS honestly. The dance practices they did tirelessly were their own choices for polished work it wasnt by force. BTS didnt have the slave contract sorta environment like several other kpop grps
i find a lot of fast rappers boring. you can rap as fast as you can but it will sound bland. what puts bangtan apart is that when they rap fast they still maintain the groove and the taste of the song. it's not about showing off to them, but about making the song good. when the song is good, it will show you off naturally

Just about the comment about the private jet...it took literal YEARS for BTS to break even, even when they started to do well. I heard Band PD say in a recent interview that when BTS debuted Bighit was 10million in debt so they had a huge hole they had to dig themselves out of. I think it took them many years to become commercially successful, etc and I think it was in their book (or somewhere else) that Yoongi said (in so many words) that he felt embarrassed when they started winning music shows with I Need U with thoughts that they weren't as financially well off as people would expect for the level of their success at the time or something like that and that was mid 2015 so it took years for them to see $$. They did start to fly private planes sometime in 2018/19 partly bc they could now afford it, but also a huge reason was to avoid serious level stalkers who would literally buy info of when/where their flights and there would be a dozen stalkers on the same flights with them just staring and photographing them on planes. Super creepy.
JK's school was like a performing arts school,. Many idol trainees, even BTS members, would attend such schools so allowances could be made for idol training schedules

Suga actually said once that BigHit contacted him with an intent to sign him to the company as a producer even before the audition ended and he recieved the second place. he was one of the few, if not the only one who didn't just rap to the given beat but processed the beat to his liking thus showed both his producing and rapping abilities

Suga missing his parents makes me so soft. It makes me really appreciate my own so much. I’m 2 years older than Jin and due to some really tough circumstances the last couple of years my 4 year old and I had to move back in with my parents and will be joined soon by my partner. Without hesitation they supported us, helped clear out and move from our house and have provided my daughter and I with unconditional support. It’s been such a hard road and I wouldn’t have gotten through without them. Not only that, I discovered BTS around 2021 when the first of the shit hit the fan, so I feel like I’ve also had their support through this time.

BTOB is very well known in Korea, they still give concerts but only 4 of them, the 5th member is working on his solo career (as an actor and singer) and the 6th member is dedicating himself to making content since his throat needs a break. I am learning Korean because of BTS, I do not have anyone to talk too but as I am going through K Drama, K Music, I get myself understanding words and I get so happy.
Suga came in second in the rap competition, but he admitted last year that he was the only competitor who took the track and remixed it. The day before the competition, Big Hit signed him on. He didn’t even need to compete. 🎤 drop.
keep in mind bts had some rules as trainees and early debut maybe first 2 years at most.
obv theres gonna be some rules just like any job in the world but bts didnt nearly have as many rules as sm yg or jyp.
also keep in mind this is a label by label group by group case. so if you see as the girl says no junk food no going out and you see clips of bts outside.
i wont pretend bts didnt have any rules at all but now bts literally go where ever they want alone without security. so like you can assume many of the rules were for when they were kids and rookies. like 2016 i think there was a huge shift and most rules were gone besides common job rules.
also its tricky because the plastic surgery thing is i get what hes saying because some labels do ask for idols to do that however its very common in korean society in general for kids to be gifted plastic surgery on their 18th birthday because colleges and jobs look at your photo and if they dont like how you look they can deny you from the school or job. so i get it, it shouldnt be forced especially on idols who dont want it but some english speaking idols who didnt grow up in korea and are from western countries/ austrailia which is very similar to a western country exaggerate or generalize things like im not trying to knock their experiences but many other idols and korean artists have said how they dont like the generalizations especially when something is common in korean society in general to then be framed as a kpop issue. idk. i think its good for asians/koreans/idols to talk about these issues but i also think there needs to be nuance because non asians take it and run with making dark side of kpop articles and videos and then every artist in korea is being discredited. so idk try to keep these things in mind when idols tell their experiences, know its ok to acknowledge what they personally went through but dont go on to say "idols" because we dont know what other idols had that.
example it may not look like it due to filters and editing etc but V, jhope and Rm are all much darker than the beauty standard calls for and while photos and videos may be edited like the ones from official sources like korean media and they may look very pale but in real life they all but especially those 3 have darker skin tones than what is shown.
also another layer that may have added to ambers situation is amber is taiwanese - american foreign idols get treated badly often in korea but especially non korean/non asian foreign idols. thats another thing most dont know is kpop is not just koreans born in korea, koreans born in other countries etc theres many other asian ethnicity, as well as people who arent asian at all or arent east asian etc i hear the non korean but still asian idols get treated badly like chinese, japanese, taiwanese, south east asian etc im not sure why but that factors into personalized negative experiences as well.
and from what ive seen which isnt much because i dont really look at other groups often but bts label didnt force plastic surgery or skin color changing neither did the group mamamoos label because one of the members named hwasa got mocked for her darker skin tone and she still has it so that shows that wasnt forced on her. so its label by label case by case idol by idol sometimes depending on your ethnicity/race etc.
Some Idols choose plastic surgery because they are afraid they will not debut otherwise and the label does not pressure them.
Nevermind that a lot of that is far cheaper there than somewhere else.

also I love bbygangmags videos his channel is a very large part in how I changed my thinking on many topics and keep trying to deeply explain in reactors comments because so many never react to his videos. and so many kpop fans don't request him enough or watch him enough so many are ignorant and never research which is why I understand now why so many koreans but asians in general love kpop is going mainstream we know its mainly bts but like they're happy kpop is getting attention but also annoyed so many non asians are entering their space without educating themselves.

There is a friend of my sisters who is not that bright. She believes - among other things - that the foreigners get more from the state than she does. Her life had never been easy but she lets others influence her on this nonsense.

58:11 Members parents used to live in different provinces & as all the members had to move to Seoul bcs that's where bighit was, it wasn't possible for them to go meet their parents or for their parents to come meet them whenever they wish. So for quite a few years after their debut, it would take a long time for them to each go to their own hometowns to meet their family, yeah if their family would come & attend any of their shows so they def. met them there. Then when each of them got stable enough, some brought their parents to Seoul, so it's easier for their family as well. Whereas some members family still choose to stay in in their respective hometowns (even till now) but even then, they brought their parents new house/new car there (i remember taehyung sharing with us how he was able to buy his fathers favorite car for him😭) IT STILL MAKES ME EMOTIONAL HOW PROUD EACH OF THEIR PARENTS MUST BE OF THEIR SONS & THEIR HARDWORK😭

I personally don’t remember the whole back story but I remember V & Suga had health problems (I think mental or physical) & they had to cancel a rest of a show one time (Suga felt so bad & even sent a letter to ARMY)….There was another time RM I think got sick so he couldn’t be there… other times a member would get hurt so they sat on a chair while they performed live….

Oop I fell asleep but anyways just to be clear about the ages and how it works. In Korea when a baby is born, it is already considered 1 yrs old. Also Koreans don't age up on their birthdays, they age up on new years eve (1st Jan). Meaning that everyone ages up at the same time which is why for global/international age they are usually 1-2 yrs younger. Let me give an example, let's say that someone is born in December, they are already 1yrs old, then new year comes so now the baby is considered 2yrs old in Korean age even though its only like 1 month old or a few weeks old. So to not get it confusing I'd just say minus 1yr from their age since in this series their Korean age is mentioned. I hope this is clear explanation so that you don't get confused whenever their age is mentioned in the videos :D
I feel u on that.. before bts.. i was also very surface level at enjoying music.. well in my country we do have great music that i grew up with with alot of great lyrics.. but ya most if not all of them were usually romantic songs.. so ya.. bts was like one of the first musician i came across who had so many topics they talked about through music.. n i just started digging deeper n appreciating music more in general too... They made me so educated on so many different things.. u will understand when u r fully lost being full armys.. that being army is like having a degree in MULTIPLE things😭😂😂 its fun ...i have learned about music.. history...politics... 14:30 Jin once commented how he was excited to perform a song other than Dynamite! Because of the pandemic they weren’t able to perform it in front of ARMYs plus it became so popular that they performed it longer than usual. As BTS has a vast discography they tend to move on pretty quickly.
You can see it recently too. RM’s album dropped and only a month or so later Jimin’s dropped. Other artists might milk their releases for months but BTS has a tonne of content so keep things moving very quickly!

Namjoon is scary when mad, haha. He has that commanding aura about him. But he's usually really chill on camera. They did say that he was the most probably to cause an argument, but as the leader, it does make sense - he shoulders the whole group's mistakes. They rarely get seriously upset on camera but it happens sometimes. Especially during this period, both Namjoon and Yoongi were extremely angry because of their situation but they refrained from showing it. They all rightfully wondered why they received so much hate from everywhere
Because of their hard schedule and the pressure of being Idols, their military service is like a vacation for them. They're all top soldiers and Jin even said that he was bored in the military. This is funny because people assumed that, as Idols, they would have a hard time during their service but it's the complete opposite. They are killing it, making friends and having a lighter, normal schedule. It is a good break for them and they do seem lighter
They did have a lot of rules but they were much freer than other groups, fortunately
It's impossible to compare the members because they all are excellent in different areas and different ways. The Rap Line is the best out there because they all are excellent at what they do and they each bring something different. The Vocal Line might not be the best vocalists out there with the best technique but they each have a unique voice and know how to use it best. They each bring their colour to make beautiful harmonies and they are amazing 💜

HYBE BTS agency is now the richest sometimes media says the Big 4 now. But army don't like that. So when u hear the term The Big 3 remember these agencies. Stray Kids are from one of the big 3. It's an important thing to know. BTS saw their families after 2 years for the 1st time after debut. Another group i think maybe Enhypen saw their families 1st time after 3 yrs. GOT7 actually spent yrs without seeing their families Jackson Wang a member said. And that is why at the end GOT7 did not renew their contract with their agency. BTS were huge inspiration to younger groups about writing songs. Now so many younger groups write their own music. U know Stray Kids do this because their CEO allows it. Because he is using BTS as the model. BTS made money i think in 2017-2018. It took them a few yrs to break into USA and sell albums. All that hard work and 16 hr days of practice paid off. There were health issues in the early yrs with hospital visits. U will see some about V in the next episode. There was a health crisis during American Hustle Life in 2014. Suga and V were hospitalized during their 1st tour because of overwork. Later Suga had surgery for appendicitis and a few yrs ago Jimin had surgery for that as well. Little (his)story of Bangtan and i11evn. (the guy who talk about rules) : Bangtan was originally abbreviated as B.P.B which came from their English name, “Bullet Proof Boys” (No boy scouts at this point). There were about 30 trainees for Bangtan but the official line up was: Namjoon, Iron, Shin Donghyuck (Supreme Boi), Choi Ikje (i11evn). Yoongi, Hoseok, and someone named Park Yeong-man. Ikje aka i11evn was the one who win the rap battle against Yoongi at the first Hit It audition. He, Iron and RM, who was known under the name of Runch Randa, were part of a hip hop underground crew named Daenamhyup,. You can see Rm talk with them in this episode. . Something happened in 2011, the project was changed, turning the hip hop crew in hip hop idol group. The name has changed from BPB to BTS , The line up was redone. Iron , i11evn and others left the project and Big Hit. Supreme Boi left the group but stay in the compagnie as producer. It seems that i11evn and others underground friends were not very kind or friendly toward him, since he choose the path of becoming Idol.
For the rules in the Kpop industry, Big Hit have some too, of course. Specially for the trainees, because they were all underage except Jin (who never follow the rules Lol ) but less than in the other compagnies. Some hints in this série are really subtle, so maybe you failed to noticed them : when it is said idols don't have a lot of creative freedom, you see Namjoon and Yoongi writing lyrics/when it says idols have phone bans , you see the BTS members on their phones/when idols say they aren't allowed to go outside the dorm, you see Yoongi walking around freely. For the beauty aspect : Bang PD choose the boys for their talents and raw potential, not for their face . Except Jin, none of them fit the very strict "k pop male beauty standards" , that's why anti attack them so badly for being "ugly (!) or "not a idol face", specially RM and J hope, but also Jimin who suffer from body shaming because he was cheeky and not thin enough, poor angel. As they grew, some behavior rules vanished in the air 😂(they got tattoo and piercing, drink on Vlive, curse on stage sometimes, made fun of their CEO ...but they still are gentle, respectful, polite and well mannered ! ) Bang Si-Hyuk , when he created Big Hit, openly stated he didn't like the system that the Idol industry had created and he wanted to do better. No phone ban, no weight quota, no forced amount of practice (but we all know that BTS dédication for their craft and fan is crazy), and of course, creative freedom others group don't have. Not only to write their lyrics within BTS, but also to have their own mixtapes without BTS. Even now, just a few amount of Idol group write their own lyrics, and none of them talk about issues or topic as BTS have done (mental health, school pressure, disparity in societal classes etc.)
In korea working hard is a thing and it's starting when you are a student, they study 15 hours every day and barely sleep. And the workers have only one week vacation a year. The pressure is real, that's a topic in bts song N.O. It's a real problem in korea and that's why bts always repeating that they will work hard because it's cultural. By the way i am a new army since november 2023 i'm 48 years old and i'm from montreal. Bts found me when i needed them the most, they helped me in a very dark place ,that i still i'm in my life, but listening to their content or music really made a difference!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

the chicken and tiger animation is only something Army use. BTS has their own bt21 carecters who is not the same as these msg ones. army use a picture of a chicken to describe Jimin because he is the baby chick of the group and a tiger for V i think but i dont even know why they use that.
but army put a picture of a chicken in when jimin is saying something it´s easier for translatores when they do weverse live. now it´s mostly AI translated in real time but not all of it and not well enough. we have many translators who translate real time on twitter so we can understand.

Just a suggestion, if you are planning on reacting to Bonus content and Deleted scenes alongside the chapter reactions. They didnot have skin brightening rules and all, this documentary really mixes up weird kpop company rules with BTS honestly. The dance practices they did tirelessly were their own choices for polished work it wasnt by force. BTS didnt have the slave contract sorta environment like several other kpop grps
i find a lot of fast rappers boring. you can rap as fast as you can but it will sound bland. what puts bangtan apart is that when they rap fast they still maintain the groove and the taste of the song. it's not about showing off to them, but about making the song good. when the song is good, it will show you off naturally
