Alafia (peace) everyone. As always I'll love to thank you all for your love and support and the positive energy you send my way. Please remember my videos and content are NOT for everyone. If what I'm say do not apply to you or your loc journey that's fine but please keep the negative comments to yourselves and allow others to appreciate what I'm trying to do for the loc community, which is educate. Like I always say, "if you don't like my videos or what I'm saying, then don't watch", it's that simple. BIGGGG SHOUT OUT to all my positive Queens and Kings that subscribe to my channel. YOU GUYS ROCK.

Yannie, you share a wealth of wisdom to the loc community and to me, especially. My Sisterlocks, (which have become SistaGal Locs) are in the best condition they have EVER been since my loc journey began 9 years ago. I was seriously contemplating cutting them off and starting over. BUT, then I stumbled across your videos and you have ‘blessed’ me waaay over here in Michigan. Thank you, Gracias, Merci Beaucoup! I’m keeping it simple...following your instructions and I am sooo appreciative. Thank you, again Queen!

I love your message. Keeping it simple makes so much sense. And I too am guilty of picking the lint out my locs. This will be a hard habit to break.

Nice! Yes, please don't use the everyday shampoos on your locs. The less you do the better off you will be. Wrap your hair with a silk or satin scarf to help with preventing lint. Great Video Yannie😊❤❤❤ I had to add the color is on point😍

Thank you for talking about coloring over the lint and that is what I do.
I am looking for a loctician, someone in Las Vegas NV; I color over the gray but before the gray came in my hair was brown with brownish red highlights and I did color my hair brownish red
Mainly I need someone to retwist my hair.
Do you know anyone in Las Vegas that is as good as you that can fix it and reasonable? Lol

Hello Yannie! Thanks for the videos! Your advice is awesome. I am planning to go to Aruba in December. It is extremely windy there. My baby lots will be 6 months at that time. Do you have any advice on getting sand in lots or bay locs? Seems like it will be impossible to remove. Should I keep my head covered while on the beach? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for info, I wash my hair every 2 months because that’s when I do my retwist. When it stays longer the roots starts sticking together.
What product is best to use for retwist? Can you pls share light on how you are able to keep it for 4 months?

    My #microlocs #interlocs #3pointrotation #microbraids #microtwists
are #greylocs #greysisterlocks #silverlocs uninterested in dying My salt and pepper new growth and locs are unique to Me. So what say You of gray locs? I don't have lint issues to date that is noticeable. Oils seem to crisp and harden My locs so I mist My scalp and locs with distilled water based Rose water minus any oils with white Kuza 100% African Shea Butter Creamy unrefined whitish light tint because any pigment stains My white, Silver, gray, not even close to black any longer locs with a slight to touch only Shea butter once monthly and I wash with Dr Bronner's Castile liquid soap diluted every 14 days as I have three black dogs! Dog hair is everywhere. I really like the camouflaged locs! But again what to do with gray locs?

I have been natural for 4 years now. Started my loc journey July 2019. My hair is usually blonde color. I wanted my loctician to color my hair. He advised me not to. However, I begged him to color in October 2019. He did. I haven’t colored since but want to color blonde again. Since last color I’ve been going to a different loctician. He informed me that coloring hair prolongs the locing process and blonde is not good for hair. Since pandemic I have not been in shop for almost 3 months. I go in next week unless CDC change restrictions. What are your thoughts on color for locs and blonde color?
