I love Robert but Jack is exactly what this channel needed. If I were to be critical, some specs would be nice and maybe a shot of the boot would be helpful (although it’s size was quoted).
Great review, as always, Jack - funny, entertaining but still informative. Brilliant. Based purely on the quality of the interior vs the iD4 - there may be spec differences, but, since these are SUVs and I simply don't get the car-buying-public's whole "I need an SUV" mentality, I honestly can't be bothered to check them out - it's probably worth the circa.£10k up-lift to get the Audi...! Having said that, the REALLY smart money would probably go for Skoda Enyaq, anyway - badge snobbery aside - since it looks just as 'striking' as the Q4 and has a WAY better interior than the iD4 (and, at least on visual cues, probably not that far off the Q4's interior in fact...?)
Keep your eyes peeled in 2023, A6 etron is on its way (pictures of the concept on the web). Also a rumour that an A4 size offering won’t be far behind it 👍🏻. Haven’t driven the Q4 but wasn’t impressed with the interior. However the GT Vorsprung I drove absolutely blew me away, too pricey at the minute but an astonishing car which one day I hope to upgrade to from my S4 (which I can confirm to other commentators on here, has working indicators and doesn’t tailgate because I want my S4 to stay in one piece 🤣)
As a new standard test, please state the efficiency at 30 and 70mph on cruise control on a flat piece of road. Do it in both directions on a fixed bit of road and take the average.
I think the Q4 Etron is a really handsome looking EV. Do you feel all the material were spot on with a luxurious will made feel? I am asking as a few other reviewers have commented on the cost cutting in recent Audi and VW' s including the Q4 Etron such as door materials, exposed chair mechanisms etc.

If I were to be critical, some specs would be nice and maybe a shot of the boot would be helpful (although it’s size was quoted).
in litres! Measure it height, width, length with a tape measure! Who carries a quantity of loose liquids around in their car?
It felt like some reading of the press release, comparing to ID3 was not appropriate as it's an ID4 competitor (and the more sensible Skoda Enyaq)
A SUV that "we wanted all along"! Don't let Robert see this. 😜
Jack certainly knows his s@*t 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 that'll be ' Jacks@*t' 👍
Nice car BTW!
Great Review!
Opens the back... 'Look at that!'
We can't, the camera never looks at 'that'....
Stunning progress, great video.
Gave you the 5000th dumb up - no achievement tho, just saying. nice video bro!
No figures on acceleration/power, energy consumption, trunk/frunk or storage space? Otherwise an entertaining view. Thanks.
Slow and thirsty.
@@TriviaChallenge Remarkably slow actually
Bjørn Nyland can actually review a car. Look him up.
Check Bjorn Nyland. He range tested all the MEB cars and compares them to the Korean cars and Tesla.
Надзвичайне авто.
Дякую за відео.
Another good MEB, wish we got them all in the US.
That's super cool looking!
At 5:17 did you show a picture of rear DRUM brakes?
MEB cars have them because they won´t rust through lack of use as happens on other EVs.
I like it. I’ve driven A4’s for ages. I really hope they’ll build a saloon on this platform soon. Surely there’s still a market for saloons?
Keep your eyes peeled in 2023, A6 etron is on its way (pictures of the concept on the web). Also a rumour that an A4 size offering won’t be far behind it 👍🏻. Haven’t driven the Q4 but wasn’t impressed with the interior. However the GT Vorsprung I drove absolutely blew me away, too pricey at the minute but an astonishing car which one day I hope to upgrade to from my S4 (which I can confirm to other commentators on here, has working indicators and doesn’t tailgate because I want my S4 to stay in one piece 🤣)
Brilliant review 👍
"Call me chavy.. I am!" hahahaa love it!
As a new standard test, please state the efficiency at 30 and 70mph on cruise control on a flat piece of road. Do it in both directions on a fixed bit of road and take the average.
For standard tests of EVs try Byorn Nyland's channel
Looks like it has the aerodynamics of a brick !
Now I’m hungry!!!
Take your necklace off fella, makes a hell of a racket on the mic.
On the inside it looks like the way they always used to build cars. It’s unimaginative and so is the tech…
Glad to hear I’m not the only one befuddled by Audi’s naming scheme.
Great bev SUV thank you great review
Being 6ft 4 myself, good to know there is good legroom.
I currently drive 2020 Q3 which I love but will upgrade to this when released in Oz in 2022
great presenter. Nice review
Great review and informational. I have already been put on a list for one when my Audi dealer gets them end at the end of the year here in Las Vegas.
Love it I might sell my q5 for one of these 👍
Brilliant review
Love it and it’s a good price for 40 Audi have done well with this one.
Great video. Entertaining presenter.
But… TH-cam inserted about 17 adverts which made it annoying, getting interrupted by ads all the time.
This car looks really nice.
I’d rather have a Kia EV 6 GT. Better looking IMO cheaper and better spec.
Yes, I think nicer people drive Kia’s
The Kia EV-6 GT ?
@@teodorachim4757 I just assumed it was the ev6gt , yup
Injust got a Peugeot e-2008 GT. the EV6 is a bit out of my reach . A bit over my budget. But honestly Koreans really stepped up their game with the EV’s
@@teodorachim4757 The EV6 is a much larger car than the e-2008, and has much better performance. For a Kia compatible to the e-2008 you’d have to look to the e-Niro or wait the EV5 or even the EV4.
Looks great and love the design. The most interesting thing to me is how well the U.S. has taken to the ID4. I wonder how competitive this car will be there?
The US has "taken" to the ID4 because it's the only model available. They don't import the ID3 to North America and no concrete plans have been announced to manufacture it, or the ID Buzz in Tennessee as of yet.
@@markcayer4859 And because it’s pretty cheap with tax incentives over there.
I see way more ID.4's than Mach-E or Model Y.
Premium car with drum brakes!!! Jack you need to talk more about specification of a vehicle, especially ADAS systems, you seem to love every car you drive are you afraid the manufactures won't give you a car to to test drive if you criticise their product. You also seem cramped seating in the car, can you see the displays when wearing sun glasses?. The boot is big I take your word for it
We all know the reason for that - it´s getting a little tiring explaining how EV brake use differs.
Proper buttons for the air con, you mean like the 2018 e-Golf?
I totally agree with you Jack that this will replace the E-Tron due to being built on the MEB platform, good news for the consumer.
Quite possibly, although mid cycle facelift of the etron is on its way so won’t be for a few years.
@@richardchester2148 Unless they shelf the updated E-Tron and concentrate on the new car. It might be admitting they got it slightly wrong but better than spending money on a facelift model which will be out of date very quickly due to the speed EV's are being developed and brough to market.
@@garethedwards2883 Quite possibly, they may abort the planned mid-cycle refresh. It’ll be interesting to see where they go with it as there’s a bit of overlap with Q4 sitting between Q3 & Q5…. For me I’m more interested in seeing where residuals go on the GT as that’s the target for me 🤞🏻
@@richardchester2148 Good luck in getting a GT as it is a stunning looking car and looks better than the Taycan but the sportsback is lovely 😎
@@garethedwards2883 Thanks. Had a GT Vorsprung on an extended demo and it’s an astonishing car. Currently in a B9 S4 which I love and it’s a fair jump with the numbers (and in short supply just now). Hopefully towards the back end of the year there’ll be an opportunity 🤞🏻
Is there a purpose for the huge front grill?
Y’all should really shoot in 4K. Upgrade your PC rig for us all. Make it happen, it’s 2021 :)
My wife is soon to place an order for one of these but if you want all of the options you are looking at £60k for the 40 or £66k for the 50. EVs generally are way to expensive atm
