I am not a Magic fan but Paolo Banchero will be good. Folks thought Jabari Smith was going #1 this shook up the whole draft both players will be good .
Banchero was a reach. 1 trick pony . His power game won’t translate to the nba. Jabari was the one.

Then watch Paolo he’s a one truck pony (all power moves) plus questionable form from 3pt range. Magic blew this pick, Chet, Jabari & Ivey will be better than Banchero I promise you
@@thefly1203 I’ve watched film on both of them and Paolo definitely has a way better handle driving and passing game than Jabari but Jabari is a talented scorer on the perimeter how he can use limited dribbles to get off his shot effectively and efficiently but Paolo is more polished offensively and almost every scout knows that
Paolo will be a great player in the league if he gets his mentality right. He can't take possessions off or fall asleep on defense like he did on occasion at Duke. If the guy locks in, I can see him having a career full of seasons that look like Blake Griffin's best season (his Detroit season where he averaged 24.5, 7.5, and 5.5 and received MVP consideration). If not, he might end up following a path similar to former Number 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, who while still a great player in the league, took a long time to start capitalizing fully on his ability.

The kid has a lot of post iq although showing his defenseive and offensive IQ. I don't know too much about basketball but I see his ability to take advantage of matchups in the post. His confidence is something I want to see translate in the NBA. Also his ability to be patient or aggressive is a trait I've noticed. I only watched highlights so my analysis can be wrong . I feel he has major potential in the right offense, using pick and rolls to create mis matches in the post and isolate the strong side. Have wing players cut if a double team occurs and the ball is picked up in the post. Definitely can see his potential as having a satisfactory NBA career. Just stay healthy and respect the body.

For some reason, I think Paolo will be a 15-18PPG scorer with an all-around skill set in the NBA Reg. Season then becomes Jesus in the playoffs and average 25 10 and 6.

He wanted to be in Houston.
He has amazing basketball talent . He looks and moves like a super talent but his performance on the floor against Carolina was supremely surprising. He appeared to wimp out at the end as if he were scared . He appeared to doubt himself and lacked confidence when the game was on the line.
He's still 19yo and was playing with the weight of Coach K's final season of his illustrious career on his shoulders... Pretty outstanding tbh...
