I like them all as long as they tell a good story. Lately I have gravitated toward stories that have a bit of romance involved because I like the tension that it usually creates between the characters and how it drives the stories. I am currently sort of hooked on Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san (which is outstanding), but I really enjoyed Shakugan no Shana, Gosick, Suzuka (because I used to run track in high school) and Fuuka, Clannad (and after story), as well as Hibike! Euphonium and Tsuki ga Kirei (another really good one). Of course, I am also watching Attack on Titan, my hero academia, and Kimetsu no Yaiba with my son. Finally, I can't stand dubbed Anime. You miss out so much if you are not listening to the Japanese voice actors! I only watch with subtitles.
@@DanielandYuka I forgot to give a shoutout to the monogatari series. The voice acting and animation are really quite spectacular, particularly Chiwa Saitō as Hitagi Senjougahara. If you have never watched it, it belongs on your Anime Bucket list.
Thank you for the video. I am hoping to go to schedule my first time visiting japan in 2023 to include visiting summer wonder festival. Do you have to know japanese to enter? I only know a few basic phrases and am struggling to learn more
Hi there @rbzsfg thanks for your question! I definitely recommend buying tickets online before the event from the official wonfes website! The line is usually pretty crazy, and they have limited tickets daily.
Thank you so much for this video! We are hoping to attend WonFest 2023 in February (in the event Japan opens to tourists). Could you let us know how you got tickets?
Alas Prime 1 Studio wasn't there... :( They have some incredible figures coming soon - like the Ultimate Version Megatron, and Major Motoko Kusanagi and Tachikoma that I would have loved to see in person! Thanks for commenting on our video, hope you enjoyed it! :D
It is generally a good idea to carry cash to events, as many smaller vendors don't have merchant facilities such as Credit Card terminals. Generally the larger vendors do accept credit card. The food vendors *mostly* accept credit card such as VISA/Mastercard but generally my advice would be to carry about 30,000¥ in cash to allow for both forms of payment. Thanks for your question @animatedjam8873 :)
Totally missed the Ochaco Uraraka figurine from My Hero Academia and she's one of my favorite characters. I must have been typing in the chat. Luckily I can watch it again...
That figurine was so cute!! The paint job was really detailed! So glad you could enjoy the video a second time and find new things you missed in the first viewing! Hi to Neko-chan! 🐱
@@DanielandYuka It was really great the second time around! Again the editing was really top notch and the music was spot on. Neko-chan is fast asleep on my lap right now LOL!
Hi Ken! So glad you were able to find her music on your streaming music platform (Spotify or Apple Music?) so you can enjoyed her ethereal voice too! She kind of reminds me of the Norwegian singer Aurora… you might enjoy her music too! :D

@@KenDavis--0-_-0-- Spoken like a true purist! You've got great taste in Anime! A good blend of not so mainstream and mainstream series! :D

Glad you enjoyed the trip to Wonder Festival 2022 with us and the information! It was so fun to go to it for the first time!
This is incredible! I've been to Comic Con Glasgow before, but never something like this. Great video!
Man i would have loved to go to this! I love cons. I used to cosplay back in the states so this gave me the natsukashiis!! Great job!
Great video.
Do you know if tickets can be purchased at the event? I plan to go next month.
Thank you!

We went to the official wonfes.jp website and booked tickets from there… and I used auto translate in safari to be able to work out how to order!
No other statue companies besides figurama? Kinda expected Prime 1 there

Haha Kawaiiiii! We've had the music stuck in our heads for the last few days now! The artist is Macaroom a Japanese artist with a beautiful voice!
@@DanielandYuka Just put them on my music rotation. Emaru's voice sounds like it could belong to a Siren from mythology. Very mesmerizing.
