    Btw I did weigh them. Stock sledgehammers 357 grams
    6s deboot backflips 382 grams
    25 grams about the same as my sharpie

      Minimal difference

    Looking good, tires seem a good fit for Sledge

      I’ve only done one run with them, but loving them so far. And I’m not sure if it’s just a placebo effect or what, but I do feel like with the hub extenders it seems more stable.

      Should just be hot racing extenders-labeled as erevo 2.0, and dboot backflip 6s wheels/tires for this video

    How are those progressive springs feeling?

    • @sarversrc
      @sarversrc  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m really liking them, making me wish I went the progressive route on all the other trucks I swapped springs on.

    Take it from me, the Rocket Fan 35mm will not fit the VXL-6S ESC, however, the Protek 35mm fits just fine...

      Thanks for the heads up. Just canceled my order and will have to try and find the protek ones somewhere.

      @@sarversrc I ordered mine from A Main Hobbies! You can force the Rocket fans to fit for the stock motor mount just not the esc.

    how was the motor holding up with heavier tires? Is it running hot? did you have a motor fan installed and are you running stock ESC?

    • @ajaykumark107
      @ajaykumark107 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      did you have to change the pinion gear ? gear up or geared down to prevent overheating??

    • @sarversrc
      @sarversrc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Motor seemed fine. When I pulled off the body the esc fan did kick back on but not very strong (stock esc) no motor fan. Going to replace the esc fan with a rocket fan. I also have a Hobbywing max8g2 combo that I haven’t decided which car to put it in yet. Looking at adding a motor fan as well. To be honest it was 110 degrees and I only ran it for roughly 8 min so it’s not a good baseline for temps.

      I’m on stock gearing for now. Tires are slightly narrower than stock, roughly same height,not sure about weight. When I get a new esc fan and feel comfortable pushing it I will try and get a baseline for temps.
