It is so wonderful to see a horse perform with neck-reign. It leaves one hand free to perform other duties while riding, rather than steering the horse with two hands.
If you feel dressage is boring then you don’t understand the refined art of dressage. At its pinnacle it is a blending of human & equine into a whole being with two bodies, one mind & one heart.
@@amyd.thompson-bernard1817 spoken like most dressage riders, I've heard similar comments made by western pleasure riders about the control they need. I do ride western I like to see a horse given a job like working a cow, which these horses were also bred to do in Spain. That is the versatility I would like to see them doing multi jobs not just one event, don't get me started on my views on Aqha.
@@eddierudolph8702 I’m not a dressage rider at this time however I have trained my own mounts in dressage. I’ve also trained them for jumping, working cattle, & mounted mock combat as done in the SCA. All on the same mount.
She said that the Iberian horse is very baroque?well I invite her to have her horse next to a Frisian baroque horse,I think she will change her opinion very quick ☝️
Frisians are beautiful horses but their history is not as deep and royal. The Spanish horse has been the horse of kings for millenia . It would be extremely unfair to compare the poor Frisian to that. Friesians are a horse I would by for grandkids to play with.
@@otracuentaperra4290 Your grandkids will fly like pigeons’s if they try my Frisian mares,I breed for endurance, speed and agility unless your grandkids are professionals (each I highly doubt)...I know very well the history of the Spanish horse and yet there’s NO HOrSE,with 2000 years of history,or more ,that will get close to a trout, majesty, and beauty of a baroque frisian☝️And that will be pretty much the and of the story
Personally I'm not impressed with Fresians. All I ever see is them being showed off on a long rein showing off how long their manes and tails are, or some woman barely dressed riding along the seashore. I have yet to see Fresians perform like these PRE's are.
@@XxShellyW13xXSo then obviously you didn’t see a friasian pulling either, come to my ranch and u will see anything, from Dressage, pulling (and quite some heavy loads)or riding ,Just because the majority of people don’t do certain things that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t done or can’t be done.

Gorgeous horses!
Wonderful!
Beauté élégance force et honneur !
I personally don’t know anything about Esponel, this makes me curious about The Iberian...Hmmm
A breed like this should not be stuck in doing boring dressage, but the real performances that they were bred to do. Just mho.

dont force the horses
Anna training is not forcing, it’s a melding of equine & human
