I shoot farm pigeons with a b2 £50 spring rifle and at 10.4ftlbs and its a good rifle for the job and a smk xs38 £120 springer a new springer to your door they do not have to cost a arm and a leg to hunt with
Exactly, I've got an SMK BAM underlever for £80 with enough accuracy and power for pest control. The truth is you don't need loads of power, you need accuracy and shot placement with enough power on target for a clean kill. Generally, a light weight springer with 11ftlb is going to be more difficult to shoot accurately than a medium/heavy springer with 9ftlb.
They always used to be 🤣 Only PCP owners that have only used PCPs that think they aren't. We were using them before PCPs were around for exactly this with no problem.
I have 5 pcp rifles but got the bas grt and I can say it great 50 yards 10 pellets inside a 2p coin. With the hades pellets .22.... the only thing that pissis me of now it say uk on the top but made in the EU
What G Force does a Air Springer produce normally with sub12 or in all like fac version, I asked a red dot seller and ther can hold up to 800 G-Force but without knowing how much a air spring rife can produce its not much use. 🤔
Devaluation of the pound, increased import costs, more red tape, increased taxes to pay for the additional costs of implementing it all the list goes on. It’s a controversial subject. The U.K Brexit has been driven by Russian money one example is lord Lebedev is the son of a KGB spy and there’s no explanation as to why a Russian citizen has been appointed to the House of Lords and that’s just the tip of the iceberg of Russian money influencing right wing politics and media in the U.K. it’s all very murky but clearly done to weaken the U.K.
Import taxes. There are some ways round it but ultimately if you're importing certain goods you will pay extra.... Thanks to Brexit. There aren't many (if any) good things that have come out of it.

I've had a bsa .22 for nearly 20 years, had some really nice pcp guns but still prefer the springer less to go wrong 👍
That’s all we ever used back in the day, I had a reluctant it was an awesome lil rifles and shot many rabbits with it and other springers like bsa etc
Well, that didn’t tell you much. Nothing that we didn’t already know. Hw99s is my go to.
Hw35k, brilliant rifle for the money 😊
Springer air rifles will always have their place as an entry route into the world of shooting sports
My TX200HC will give a lot of good PCPs a run for their money.
Had a pcp a walther rm8 with in 3 weeks I was very bored give to the wife I am a springer man
I shoot both springers and pcp's field target and hunting.horses for courses.
LOL
I'll always prefer my springer. And I live where we can have firearms.
