What wood were you using in this video? Was it the stuff from Home Depot you used in your trellis spray painting tutorial video? Also would you mind sharing your settings for this cut? I’m still tweaking my Nova 24. Thank you ❤
@@jimscott9974cool! Thinking about going with the 35 80w. I know nothing about laser engraving. I am a screen printing looking to add engraved products to my clients and hope to gain more business. Do you have any advice for a beginner?
@@samuelking5847 There are lots of videos here on TH-cam that will give you a good background on the various machines and techniques. You will find that more powerful lasers will be able to engrave/cut faster if you need to do higher quantities and/or save time, but less powerful lasers will do just as good of a job engraving, just at a slower pace. Where higher power becomes necessary is when you need to cut thicker materials, and cut them faster. A less powerful laser may still be able to cut a thicker material, but it will need multiple passes and obviously more time to do so. Always consider how your needs might change in the future as far as speed and capacity are concerned, and plan accordingly. You can always upgrade to a larger and more powerful machine later, but unless you're sure you won't need to I would suggest buying bigger and more powerful now with what your space and budget will comfortably allow. The Nova 35 is a great laser, and would be plenty large and powerful enough for many tasks, but only you would know what is best for your situation now, and later down the road. As they say, 'Knowledge is power,' so take your time and enjoy the search. Good luck.
Is this an advertisement for the Nova 24? You mentioned all of the positives, perhaps you can do a credible critique and also mention negatives and or needed improvements??
I’m new to laser machine is it easy to use 😢
I’m

i been thinking about getting a nova laser but unsure if i want to go with nova24 or nova35 what is the difference between the 2
The 35 is bigger and uses a more powerful laser. It also requires a dedicated 20A circuit, while the 24 only needs a dedicated 15A circuit.
