I think most Americans use this machine for either pizza pockets or ham and cheese pockets. The burger in this video is trying too hard to be american.
I just made the best toasted ever Ingredients: Tiger bread Spicy chicken tikka Ham Cheese It’s so nice! Also, u will need to press it down before you it in obviously since it’s tiger bread
I mean as a Brit and with marmite which is literally the same I’d say that’s an okay amount maybe a little too thick but I’d say just right for a marmite and cheese toastie.. maybe I just have a higher tolerance for it lol
I'm from romania. We don't have a regular toastie but here's my favorite one (actually, my 3 favorite ones) 1: hellman's mayonnaise on one side and my grannys homemade ketchup on the other, with ham, pickles and gouda cheese; 2: Pickled Cabbage (seriously. Just pickled cabbage); 3: Butter, sausage and bell pepper;
its not bad. Im from Australia and we also eat this. canned spaghetti is Ace and also spag bol Jaff is ftw. Im not eating a vegemite and cheese jaffle. It was better not toasted.
My old time Indonesian style toastie, bread, margarine spread, and peanut butter or strawberry jam. Nutella getting famous I think in the past 10 year's or some.
Nutella has been famous since its release what u talking about? i make toast and put nutella on one slice and peanut butter on the other. its very nice and reminds me of a Snikers. when they did chocolate and cheese together that made my stomach turn. disgusting! also margarine is something i had when a kid because my mum was stupidly poor she just bought cheap shit and margarine is cheaper than proper actual butter, also margarine is mostly used for cooking and baking. it can be used as a substitute to butter but if anyones using margarine instead of butter i class that as a poor move. its like getting a slice of bread and putting tomato puree pizza base on it then some cheese and calling it a pizza. when in reality its not a pizza.
I'm Irish and we whisk an egg coat the outside of the whit it and on the inside Smoked bacon and black pudding and just rub real butter on the heat plates
All of the above. Love toasted sandwiches. My favourite tho is bread, bacon and egg, slice of toast, cheese tomato and piccalilli another slice of bread now toast it.
Hi World!, Hope You are all Well!, i'm from the UK & have a couple of Toastie Tips if any one is Interested, We English/GB people tend to be a bit Baked Bean Mad & if & an Idea for Sexing the Baked Bean Toastee up is to Crumble some Beef Oxo Cube into the Beans (Best Mixed in before put on the Bread!), I Mix enough in till it goes Black Colour!, Also if Toasting some Ham try smearing some Mustard of Your Choice on the Inside of the Bread, I also Put Sliced Cheddar & Cherry Tomato's after Smearing the inside of the Bread with Marmite or Bovril, This is an Acquired Taste but try Banana, Crunchy Peanut Butter& Jam (Jelly I suppose if You are from the USA!), Hope you all Enjoy, I'm off now to Worry about the Consequences of the Never ending Brexit Situation!, Take Care.
peanut butter and jam is the bomb diggity, also what jam do u prefer? because in england we dont have GRAPE jam and theres nothing close to it, we have black current instead and americans dont have black current as theres a law or something in place why americans have grape and UK dont. i also love peanut butter and nutella on toast it reminds me of snikers.
omg the australian one is similar to my fav and invention! bovril and cheddar cheese its so good and beefy really goes well with the cheese, im from the UK
From CA we had one of these growing up my fav was just making ham cheese pizza toastie. I had no idea Australia is known for this My mom hates when we used this haha 😂 love all of you
UK here - anyone know a specific, widely available bread loaf with the largest slices that are large enough 'diameter' (?) to fit OVER (outside, not inside) the 'crimper' edges of the largest toastie maker? My toastie maker has huge cut-outs and I have yet to find a large enough slice that can be sealed during the cook process. :(
@@SceneArtisan i have the Salter XL and that works well but yeah bread slices are retarded these days. look Thick! sliced. more like normal looking slice. fuck sake these bread makers have never heard of door step bread, thats a fucking thick slice. tesco cheap bread is ok and what u expect, hovis bread is ok but i can tell its poor quality. the bloomers, the farm house, are the better quality breads but still there will be problems. the shape of the bread is weird and still the thickness isnt there. if i use a block of butter and try putting on a slice of bread it rips the bread. or the fact the bread is so thin that when i have a bacon sandwhich grease comes through the bread stupidly and yeah. i can complain about bread allday lol i dont think many people make there own bread, i did look at bread makers but idk. normally i get a loaf and its out of date by time i used it all. wow 3 days fresh its not enough. bread needs to last a week. and ive never frozen bread, i dont have time to thaw it. lol
Think ya got ya New zealand one mixed up! Aussie as mate. Also baked beans is a winner. Never had a vegemite toastie in my life. We recommend spreading that as thin as on fresh buttered toast.
The Italian - less basil, more cheese, the US looks good but will the burger be hot all the way through not sure about that, and the South African one, if not too sweet with the caramelized onions and the chutney, those three recipes looks good to try. I am not sure about the cheese, and Nutella might give that one a skip.
Here's a few to try if you haven't already... Canned corned beef cheese and hot mustard... Leftover spaghetti bolognese with cheese... Leftover Shepard's pie with tomato sauce... Chilli con carne with cheese... Enjoy.
Why does absolutely everything have to have cheese in it? Jaffles will seal perfectly fine without cheese in them, you know. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it seems like you have some sort of agreement with the dairy concerns. But that would be if I didn't know any better.
Are you lot trying to pretend you put that much filling inside your toastie and half of it didn't spew out every place?
Cheese and Nutella?
OMG nooooo
cheese and chocolate is great combination. There are tons of desert that contain those two ingredients.
Game of Life noooooooooooooooooooo disgustang
Noooooooo
@@pikimiki3956 Like cheese cake
Was gonna say that.. then I saw the spaghetti one 😄😄
Easy on the Vegemite there
USA toastie is just basically a burger
He forgot to deep fry it.
Or a patty melt
I think most Americans use this machine for either pizza pockets or ham and cheese pockets. The burger in this video is trying too hard to be american.

What about cheese and ham toasties from the U.K.??
Ham Cheese and pineapple is how I like mine
I just made the best toasted ever
Ingredients:
Tiger bread
Spicy chicken tikka
Ham
Cheese
It’s so nice!
Also, u will need to press it down before you it in obviously since it’s tiger bread
Did someone touch my spaghett
Thats a dead meme
I like the idea of the Italian one - YUMMY!
I cringed at the hideous amount of vegemite on the Australian sandwich. As a fellow Aussie, that is TOO MUCH!!!! DISGUSTING!!
I mean as a Brit and with marmite which is literally the same I’d say that’s an okay amount maybe a little too thick but I’d say just right for a marmite and cheese toastie.. maybe I just have a higher tolerance for it lol
Oh I would put more on, I think marmite is stronger than vegemite.
The Italian one was basically pizza. But yummy 🤤
USA was a burger :D
@@Taut92 ikr would of been better if they did macn cheese toastie with peperoni in it. then call it american.

@@Noisemansoundinsect personally I like bake beans and cheese lol
@@spaea2062 it’s hard not to add cheese in a toastie
Bill mate you really let us down with that sorry excuse of a toastie. No ham, no tomato, no baked beans. We're not happy.
From England, and never heard of anyone putting pickle in their toasties, that's just wrong.
It's goooood
All of these toasties need a few more minutes in the machine. I like them well crispy
The Ham & Cheese with Pickle is actually from Ireland not England.
*insert random food item* + cheddar = toastie
the USA one looked like a Pickle toastie with a hint of Beef
cool vid but the aussie one needed baked beans
The second I saw Australia i knew it was gonna be vegemite

All that ham and cheese was a massive grossout! Blecch!
Many inspirations, thanks! I knew it - the Italian make a Calzone. 🤣
most of these recipes are worthy of "what the fuck"
Creamed corn and cheese.
Baked beans and cheese.
Banana and sugar.
Cheese, Potato Waffle, Brown Sauce, Bacon and Fried Egg.

It’s all about the butter with the vegemite. How many times to we have to go through this 🤦🏻♂️

Why aren't any of the bread slices buttered...
Mark Morris They are buttered
So they just took something what is native from each country and make toast sandwich based on that?
In the uk we have jus cheese or cheese and ham not Branston pickle 😂😂😂
Lol I'm from UK and recently I decided to put Branston pickle in does sound weird but it's actually alright
Price of this toaster????
No italian would;
