It took a bit for me to get this song, but after watching the visuals, I realised that it is about school shootings. It is about a parent's fear about sending their child away to somewhere they should feel safe, only to then lose their child to a shooter. It could also be about losing those who have perpetrated these crimes to the darkness that has been brewing in themselves long enough to lead to such a violent course. The Sound of The Bell, as in, the school bell.
Sadly, the whole "School shootings" notion started from a "false 🚩 " event. There's always something that the gov does to make things like this happen. And since ppl, especially younger ppl, have become increasingly impressionable, it works much easier. They get their ideas from such events and also from movies. It's really sad. Things like this should never happen. There really is a "Mental Illness" pandemic going on right now! I wish things would change but I don't see that happening. At least not for the better!
this is what i got immediately from this visualizer/song. I am a parent, and we do have to deal with this stuff in the States. Maybe the meaning is diff if you live elsewhere.
Ok, on a second closer look at the lyrics it definitely seems plausible that you're right! Could still be war related too in some way. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one!
This new EP is so good, i can say this one is a OC top10 song, and so is while we serve, and that song in the middle, forgot name right now is proberly in top20.. this one sure is great i think my favorite OC song is Behold, or A sailors tale.. BTW why didnt OC win all the metal grammys..
I hear a little bit Gojira-Oroborous, and a little Behold. Love the distortion in the end section. That's a new thing they did. If you haven't already heard: 'Through Time' is probably my favourite OC since Nija.
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses it felt heartbreaking to me from the onset that the volume was definitely amped down. I didn't mind once everything fell into a groove. Great night none-the-less and with all acts I was greatly impressed. Respect to Fear Factory and Machine Head.
Just saw them last Saturday with fear factory and they put on some show. Was able to chat with them after the show and congratulate them for the signing and EP.
Their songs are really good, this one is no exception. An unfortunate topic which is misunderstood by most people :( Keep the kids safe, physically and mentally...
Honestly with the rise of technology and social media taking over young people's minds I don't know what will become of them. I only got it at 15 and still got screwed up!
And it's not getting better, unfortunately. There's a reason the owners of these companies don't let their children drown in the same apps/devices... But one should not fight improvements and new technology, just assimilated it in a smart and effective way. Let things flow with a natural pace, not push it rapidly on untrained and mendable minds.

Correct. As a Patreon member I was able to see the lyrics before the song was released and it's definitely about school shootings. Powerful and sad.
Their songs are slapping terrible reality into your face.

Orbit Culture 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💪
Has anyone ever considered this band's name might mean circle pit culture?
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Perhaps this is their second name😎
This song is such a masterpiece. So much more elevated, but still Orbit Culture. God, I love this band so fucking much!
Can't wait to see how they grow now with Century Media backing them up!
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses agreed. Hope they'll get to fill arenas.

This EP is so grim, man...
Their next release better be titled "A Quick Fix" and be a bunch of Sailor's Tale vikingy seaman adventure type tracks
Heck yeaaaaah, Orbit goes Wind Rose to save our souls! :))))

We have heart Through Time, it's actually got its own reaction: th-cam.com/video/QrMnrvOjhns/w-d-xo.html
Just got home from my first live OC experience. I won't see them again until they are headlining. Respect these champions.
Absolute YES! How was it? We caught them live too, still never a headline set though!
