Mind you, Lobotomy Corporation repeatedly tells you that your nuggets are expendable resources, yet you grow attached to them once you overcome enough trials together. A nobody with an awful haircut and a dumb smile suddenly becomes your prized employee once he takes down an ALEPH with stacked odds against him and saves the day as a result. That's the beauty of games like these, they create these mini-stories that are unique to everyone even with blank slates.
Look, it is true that the difficulty varies from person to person with these fights, but if there is something that unites all Ruina players, it is the final battle with reading, I mean Pluto's passives.

I didn't use a single contract and thusly didn't need to read. Probably the most I cheesed a fight. Interested to see Foreman play the fight because he'll probably actually interact with the gimmick.
@@eatari02 spoilers below too don't read any further . . - . . . . You could also just prepare a Singular Strike deck and a deck with high cost pages while leaving two rat assistants. It's way faster and Contract of Might on Kim is really dumb since it's free power for something he can run anyway. Meanwhile, Contract of Light librarian can play dumb pages like Overspeed and Divinatory Impact (or whatever it's called) for free. The fight doesn't require that much reading aside from the other two contracts that I find to be utter garbage, both in the boss fight and playable version.

Greta is also a very "end justifies the means" type (pretty much all her conversation is both literally about food and metaphorical) while hod tries to do the right thing the right way as to prevent hurting others
Hod with the finisher! I found Nemo's page to be really useful against Break an Egg because he can destroy her second die. IMO the fight is hardest during the beginning, especially with her absurd number of block dice, but gets easier as you build momentum and start gaining more abno pages.

Oh btw, just edited my comment to share a fun fact that the last die of Sanguine Desire can roll 100 if the bleed is high enough. The only other time a card can roll that high is an ultra buffed Red Mist using Great Split Vertical with the Nothing there page that doubles the power of the last die you play on a card or something. Forgot the name.
IIRC,Greta doesn't care about how many status effects are applied when she has resilience. 20 at once will stil remove only 1 stack. Pierce becomes effective only after you get rid of it all.
Imma just say that the hardest blue sicko gang fight for me was Hokma's, but it could also be the fight that I didn't realize that the stuff from lower floors unlocked after completing a tier so I didhave 50 decks, and still have them to remind me of the madness that was. Yesod's was the second hardest for me and the third was Chesed's but as you said at the start everyone has very different experiences with the the blue sicko gang so have fun figuring stuff out.
Kinda embarrassing it took me 2 months to realize my character made it to Hod at the end, classes did start for me so I guess my mind was preoccupied with other stuff at the time and seeing the daunting amount of people on the wheel and knowing my luck, I was 100% sure I wasn't gonna make it. So eyy nice. Finally processing it was there makes me feel like an idiot but hey, better celebrate than never. As for Greta, I was agreeing with her with the "If everyone wasn't so picky, everyone would be fed" talk until I realize the reason she wanted it is from her lines with "Fatty are too greasy to cook and Skinny are just twigs to have any real feast on" which basically means she wants them all equally fed so they are all perfect for cooking... Greta and her jolliness tricked me into agreeing with a cannibal. I like how every fight so far are built around the gimmick of the floors themselves. Philip = Malkuth burn for overheat, and forth match flame for aoe and burn on the baby statues. Eileen = Yesod beeg damage to speed kill all the worshipers, all about killing them the fastest. Also it being Eileen, a smoke boss fight, one of the best synergies with yesod back then was Smoke for even more damage, so its fitting. Greta = Hod bleed to bleed though her resilience and turn her into sashimi.(Guess the next Hod book club is gonna take place with some leftover bloodstains) and yeah...Im still kinda flustered and feel stupid I didnt realize it for over 2 months but atleast it happened, great video as always Foreman, congrats on making sushi.
Actually, on Yesod, you want to ignore the worshippers. Killing them makes Eileen use her MA, which is costly to constantly contest. If you ignore them for long enough, they brick IIRC since they lack Shimmering and their decks lack sufficient economy.
@@anothenblue2630 Or alternatively, killing all the worshippers at the same time so she only does one MA for each group. Staggering the kills is the worst of all worlds. EDIT: Acutally, tallying the stagger damage from the kills, kill them all at the same time and she staggers and loses the MA as well.
Like Foreman says, don't care about optimizing and meta building unless you're in competitive multi-player scenarios. Meme build, play badly, but enjoy the game and the challenge.

For me Greta was THEE hardest boss of the ensemble because I just somehow couldn't wrap my deck building around the gimmick at the time(it was also during ea while there was still true pagelock so maybe that was it) I hope you have better luck than me
Honestly, Greta seems a nice gal once you look past the whole cannibalism gig, but hey, food is food, not much of a difference between cattle and overworked humans. There's a skin on workshop that makes her keypage look normal, I recommend using it for those who can't stand the blank white space under the librarian's head and wants the tail back. Frankly, the keypage has the worst appearance in the game. As far as the fight goes, she's pretty average for this layer. You CAN kill her in like 3-4 scenes with a bit of bind, enough bleed and everyone using Disgorge Innards or whatever Dong's card was called (it increases damage by the amount of bleed), but that aside, you should actually bring burn here on top of bleed since it's the second easiest status effect to apply. Resilience is removed every time a status effect would be applied regardless of amount IIRC, so, it's better to focus on quantity rather than quality. This is also where Spider Bud's abno pages shine since they also apply status effects. Sanguine Desire can also absolutely murder her because it's Top 5 EGO for a reason. Be careful with block dice and bleed you get here, things can quickly escalate. Into the Sack You Go or whatever seems scary until you realize it's a non-counter page that has a On Use effect and it rolls low enough to destroy with a Mass Attack. You can prevent her from ever using it on you that way.
Certain abno pages deal damage but cannot kill you. I think Violet Blade exhausting dealt 2-7 non-lethal damage to hod, leaving her at 1 HP. In other words, she should've probably died but didn't due to technicalities.
I would actually encourage him to at least start it up and get the pre bonuses and then just leave it till he’s ready to play it but that is just my opinion at this point
okay so, you CAN beat greta without bleed, but its gonna take like 2 hours, the way you do that is: stagger the character turned into meat before she hits it, that frees them and heals them to 75% max hp, i did it that way, i cannot reccomend doing so.
You can also slap Fragile on her instead. No need for Bleed if Greta takes 30 extra damage on every hit. That's a realistic number on Hod's floor btw. Olivier is amazing on her.

@@universeimagination7495 you can roll way higher with literally any card. Matchlight and Loyalty let you roll 900+ if you try hard enough.
