Im going to do this cuz I still use bar soap and it sucks to throw away so much soap. But lets be honest here, with the paper towels used, water used, and energy to melt the soap theres very little here thats "recycling". Its just a smart way to save a little money on soap.

Try putting the soap mixture into silicone muffin trays!
Or put them in silicone shape (or animal) trays
Watching your videos, I wonder during every video what you do with the crums/bits afterwards. Would be fun in the tub for the kiddos and I bet it would make a nice bubble bath!

when you finish the curls do you put them in the freezer so they could be crunchy if not could you explain it
Ikhlaq Mohammed when u finish, you leave them to dry out for around a week. Not the freezer

Jimin's Jams I just pour in room temperature water but it doesn't really matter because you let the soap get hot enough so it melts (medium heat) so it gets hot either way. If you watch the tutorial I tell you what to look for when you're buying soap...if you're looking to make curls 😊

Woaaaaah. That looks like it must smell so good. What about using a double boiler? I always imagine in my mind using a double boiler to melt down the soap bits (like chocolate buttons...mmmmmmmm)....

can you recommend specific soaps for soap curling, i know the glycerine rule but i want to be certain to buy it.
X xSaltySaladx X if you go by the glycerin rule it should work. I experiment with different soaps all the time using that rule of thumb.

Kruemelsche yes....you just have to be careful with the kind of scented soap you use. If the soap has a really strong scent I usually won't use it.
