One dude did a test a while back and filled an airtight room with like 50 plants and the co2 levels never went down and didn’t produce oxygen at a noticeable rate. He had to fill like 10, 50 gallon drums with cultivated algae(a better oxygen producer), to slowly remove co2 and produce oxygen.
So, the EPA bans my actual air purifier/humidifier because dismantling it with a hack saw and blowtorch might choke someone. But, it let this be sold unchecked. Sounds about right.
That’s because the EPA doesn’t care about the environment, it is another tax collecting revenue generator for the us government. This either is too low key to be noticed, or they paid the fee to have it approved. The EPA collects billions in fines, registration fees, and taxes every year. Cummins diesel paid them 2billion dollars alone last year. Most of which went to the state of California, more specifically CARB (California air resource board) which is a giant government backed racketeering ring designed to shut down small businesses.
It's from China, the EPA don't work there. When you import something from another country, YOU are responsible for making sure it meets all appropriate regulations. This is a huge problem and has led to bullshit products like this, as well as plenty of actually DANGEROUS products, in people's homes cos they bought them on Ebay or Amazon, who don't make checks themselves. They upload commercials on TH-cam, call them a review and make them look like real reviews (they say "this product is from a company called Mosslab" even though it's themselves doing the video) and then even disable comments on those videos.
