The Bears really don't play defense that good. They have some really good players on defense, but are so often out of position. They have studs in the secondary, but are often just standing still and watching. They don't respond to the running backs until they have broken through the line which ensures a minimum of more than five yards. They are also just standing and watching receivers get open, then responding, which means that the opposition always get the clutch reception. This is always because of coaching.
First time the Bears have had a generational talent since Sid Luckman (who retired at 1950 I think). All this is fixable. Fire the HC, get a OC HC, spend 90% of our draft picks on O line with 1 or 2 D lineman as well. We should be a playoff team for a decade...... now our BEARS have "that dude" at Qb
