    Uses for WD-40
    1. Lube a shovel. Spray WD-40 on a shovel, spading fork, hoe or garden trowel. The soil slides right off-especially helpful when digging in clay.
    2. Clean tile. The spray removes spilled mascara, nail polish, paint and scuff marks from tile floors, and also help you wipe away grime from the grout lines. Clean up with soapy water.
    3. Scrub stains from stainless steel sinks.
    4. Unstick gum. A squirt makes it easier to pull gum out of carpet and even hair. It's better than cutting out the gum and leaving patchy carpet or a bad haircut.
    5. Soften leather. Oil can help break in a stiff leather tool belt.
    6. Free stuck LEGOs. Your kids will thank you.
    7. Erase crayon. When crayon ends up on toys, flooring, furniture, painted walls, wallpaper, windows, doors, and television screens. Spray on WD-40 and wipe it off.
    8. Prevent flowerpots from sticking when stacked together.
    9. Get rid of rust. Spray and rub away rust from circular saw and hacksaw blades. It can also clean blades of tar and other gunk.
    10. Remove goo. Unstick gooey residue from price tags, duct tape, and stickers.

Not as big a deal now but back in the day if you got moisture in your engine's distributor cap and the engine wouldn't start, a little WD-40 would disperse it and allow your vehicle to start.

The absolute best use for wd40 is identifying a good mechanic. Ask him what he uses wd40 for, if he says anything other than diesel starting fluid or that stuff is awful run, don't walk.
How many of yall know what wd40 stands for?
If you use it as a lubricant it will wash out the proper oil or grease and dry up in short order leaving you with less lubrication than you started with.
For rust or stuck bolts there are proper products designed to break rust down, so why would you use a product to displace water?

I can safely say this DOES NOT help!!! It literally messes up circuit boards and shorts out components if you spray it "willy nilly" like my old man does. If you use it, wipe off the excess...then it's not bad. Don't literally find a gap and spray it in!!! 🤪

    • @GiuseppeSimonetti
      @GiuseppeSimonetti 6 ปีที่แล้ว

GIZMO A lot of people do it and nothing bad ever happens. The chamber is sealed when the round goes off and I don't think WD40 is flammable after it is sprayed and sits for 15 minutes to an hour on something. If I have a gun that only costs $100 I'm not worried about it getting burned. Lol. It works perfectly fine and people have been doing it for more then 40 years. It's not the end of the world if your .22lr catches fire which isn't gonna happen to begin with. I only use it in .22's and bolt actions. I never use that shit on an AR15 or an AK47 because they must be properly lubed and cleaned. Not gonna destroy a $800-1500 gun using WD40 on it

I'm not going to take advice on man stuff from a pretty little girl. Especially when she tells me to spray WD-40 on my grill. That's just ridiculous, I eat off that thing. Soap and water will never remove all of it, it's called WD-40 for a reason, the "WD" stands for "water displacer," so its' purpose is to repel water. Not to mention, it will soak into the pits and pores of the metal. Cancer is not something I'm fond of. Stick to makeup and hair tips please, let the men do the man stuff.
