Honestly I believe him just based on his explanation of what riots answer was. "We can't do anything about it" is unfortunately the most common riot sentence 😂
I believe him 100% lmao. If he’s still angry to this day this for sure happened. I would be as mad as him rn if that was the reason I died. 80% packet loss on LAN is wild
You don't need to believe him, it actually happened. Look at the top right corner when its on yay perspective & yay gets the ardis kill it says network problem. Having a network problem in LAN is crazy
it's 1v2 and the fact that yay kills him like the most normal basic headshot ever, no flicks or anything, i believe him. there ain't no way someone gon tilt on that situation.
It literally saids network problem on yay's POV as he is getting the kill. So yeah, you don't need to just believe him, the client is telling you this is true.
You need a very expensive switch in order to process 10+ connections at once. A switch has to demultiplex, multiplex and route data with little latency, it's very hard to do and even if the hardware is good, it can still lead to packets being lost sometimes due to overload (when using UDP as with valorant).
and also the fact that valorant doesn't have offline mode like csgo and dota2 means that the traffic takes longer because it need uninterrupted internet unlike the usual non-internet lan tournaments which only connects to the main server. Or maybe Im wrong if riot has offline mode of valorant just for official tournaments and not in the usual app? Now im curious.
It says network error on yays screen. It's a 1v2 so it's not even like he lost a clutch round or anything. To still remember a round like this makes me believe him. Players lose situations like this all the time. It's expected.
valorant's online has been bad forever and its going to continue to be bad, literally just turn on server tickrate graph and get in a game, esp. during peak hours. It's crazy that this has been an issue so much that riot has put out like 4 different articles in the last 3 years blaming it on different things like alt tabbing and client jitter while they brag about stuffing 3 games on the same server core because 128 tick servers are too expensive
@@houdinics2All you needed to do was search up the event and the first few sentences on liquipedia already told you it was an offline event, so yes it is a LAN server running locally
