      I came here to say pretty much the same thing. This chorus has been an earworm for several years now but looking up “I’m on my way down 90s rock song” didn’t yield any results. Then today I was walking and I heard it in my head and was like “way down, by Catherine Wheel…” and here I am.

      "Heart-Shaped Box" and "Black Hole Sun" instantly come to mind. The 90s were fun but freaky, disjointed, abstract. I miss those times so much.

      This was my first exposure to Catherine Wheel. I dove into their catalog because of this song here in the states. They were a really good band.

      @@kdcmjk I remember first hearing one of their tracks, Receive, on a free sampler CD that used to come with a rock magazine back in the day. Those things were a lifeline at the time.

    Saw these guys at the first Endfest outside Seattle in '92. Beastie Boys headlined, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Bush and many more. Korn played the side stage. We slept in the car. Memories.

    I remember hating this album the first time I heard it, but the sound just stuck in my head so I had to have another listen and now every time I put CW on, I have to listen to their entire discography.

    All of this goes to show that if you’re unfortunate enough to be in a plane crash, it’s best to have a seat next to Rob Dickinson, as he’s keeping a cool head while everyone else is in complete panic mode.

    A band I had forgot about of recent.
    I did see them at the University of London union in back 1996 or maybe 97, good night that was. I think this band had some connection with Iron Maiden, band member relative to Bruce Dickinson I think.

      And yet, their next album - Adam & Eve - was transcendently brilliant. One of the very best albums of the 90's. Guess you never had a bad day, or learned to suppress your petulant Millennial snark reflex long enough to develop much of an attention span.

      The Catherine Wheel album actually came out two months before the Dandelion album. It's cool someone else remembers Dandelion, though!
