We use International Super Cleaner specifically for boats. Definitely makes a difference and gets rid of the grime. It is expensive but definitely worth it! I love Emma’s cable labelling! I think I may be adopting this in the future 😂

Short answer - because I'm fussy 😂🤣 Long answer - I want it to be as hidden as possible and don't want a cable tie every 20cm down the grab rail. 1 because you'll see them an 2 because no matter how well you cut them you always end up with that little sharp bit that you catch your hand on so don't really want that on the hand rail. Having said all that I have just popped a few on for now to hide the cables and keep them up off the roof till I find a more permanent solution 👍
Oh and we have a low wattage electric kettle which we can use off our solar and has saved us a lot on gas. We only have 3.9kg bottles which are expensive so invested in the electric kettle when we upgraded our solar last year. Also it only holds 1 litre so you don’t waste power by boiling too much water. We know that 3/4’s full makes 2 mugs of tea! 😂
That's not a bad shout, I don't know why we haven't thought of that🤔, still not much use in the winter though but would probably be of use from anytime now, now the solar has picked back up again. I recon that could save us at least 1 gas bottle a year 👌

Just seen your cordless power washer. What make is it? Is it any good?(possible review).we've been thinking of getting one for a while but not sure I'd they were worth it
It's a Dewalt one, main reason I bought it was because all my other tools are dewalt so I already had the batteries and charger. I think it depends what you want it for and what you expect from it. I done a bit of research before I bought it so I knew it wasn't going to be as powerful as a mains powered one fed from a tap. Having said that, it can take off dried bird poo and is definitely good enough for rinsing the boat down without and fear of stripping the paint 👌 Since I bought it DeWalt have now bought out a more powerful 54v one but may be a bit big to store on a boat 🤔 We'll be doing a video soon of our top 10 boat gadgets and the jet wash will definitely be featured so keep your eyes peeled 👍

Why not try cable ties to fasten the cables to the rail.
