This interview was awesome! So much information and knowledge. Dr. Tran was a provider involved in our daughter’s care at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She got autoimmune hepatitis from her systemic juvenile arthritis and macrophage activation syndrome (which is/can be deadly). The whole groups of doctors involved were amazing, including Dr. Paul Tran. Thank you having the passion you have for your specialty and compassion for the way you treat patients and families!
You seem like a compassionate doctor, who strives to listen and make a difference. We need more of you in the GI field! But could we just do away with Functional Abdominal Pain though? It really doesn’t mean anything other than “We have no idea why you are in pain, and we are done trying to figure it out.” And the implication from many doctors is that it is likely in your head. Doctors need to stop thinking horses every time they hear hoof beats. While the majority of the time it IS a horse, it just MIGHT be a zebra, and it might EVEN be a unicorn. Look into the AMAZING work that Dr Richard Hsu and Dr Kurtis Kim have been doing to eliminate excruciating abdominal pain that patients have experienced, at times, for decades. They are saving and changing lives!!!
Hey um this has nothing to do with the video, but one of my favorite youtubers has a major medical problems he needs help with. And whoop de doo your the exact kind of doctor needed @Inkslasher
I read it as pediatric geriatrician at first I was like HOLDZAWNNN 😭😭😭😭
There are rare syndromes with kids aging prematurely so maybe a pediatric geriatrician would be appropriate in some cases😛
Haha
PLEASE MAY WE HAVE A BARIATRIC SURGEON NEXT
