After all the progress shown in the last few years Scotland give that careless performance in such a huge game. If they went down with a fight itd be acceptable. Looks like they were having a casual kickabout and expecting to lose. They should be ashamed. Clarke has made progress definitely but then they just crash at the crucial point. Id say maybe the time is right for a change - McInnes in for Clarke.
Qualifying from Europe is tough. Brazil and Argentina often play a second string team when they play away to the likes of Bolivia. They can afford to lose a few games and still qualify. In Europe, you lose one qualifier in your group and the pressure is on.

Gordon and McGregor were the only players who turned up. dykes, adams, hickey, mctominay, gilmour, robertson, and mcginn were all very poor. however there are positives to take from this match but it depends if clarke will actually pay attention to them and change things for next time
