Could you do a TH-cam video showing how to apply the sulfur? I think it would be great on my potted figs. We get both thrips and fig bud mites as it gets warmer in the year. I would like to spray and I’m a bit intimidated by the process.
I may just pick off the breba next year. I’ll see if any of the breba are decent or not. I even head started the de la roca before the others in the basement! I still have a month before I’ll get worried about fruit set on those two but Jeesh!
@@figtreegrower3152 - Almost all growers say Brebas are not as good as main crop. Many of these growers grow in wet climates where larger figs are a potential liability. It is very difficult to get great Brebas from potted trees (not impossible). We need to get you to visit the PNW in August. Our Brebas are phenomenal from our in ground trees. DLR takes time to hit its stride. It is an incredible fig - don’t give up on it! 😁

Instead of Disney on Ice, I’m thinking Figs on Concrete. I hear Ellen and Kevin Sorbo are looking for work. I’m talking exponential growth here! Just think about it. I couldn’t tell you. I’ve never had good quality Breba. My oldest trees are in their 5th growing season. I would think it is highly dependent on location due to spring time temp fluctuations and also age of the tree like you said. Chris in Oregon says breba are really tough to ripen well in pots for him and he is in prime breba area

All but one of my Brebas from potted trees dropped. Really hit or miss in the pot.
CLBC takes FOREVER!
DLR sets figs much faster as it gets older.

I just posted some of my unimpressive breaba. lol This is the first year for my De la Roca and my CLBC, now just have to see if they ripen!
When did you get figlets on de la roca and clbc? They just want to branch and not form figs. It’s maddening!
@@figtreegrower3152 De la Roca is in year 2, and CLBC is in year 3. I have 2 clbc and I believe only 1 is fruiting and much larger than the other.
