I’m actually really feeling these. I like the simple color blocking and letting the diff materials and cuts stand out. Something different, yet also easy to wear given the cream, white, grayish hits mostly.

First time I saw images of the shoe, I loved it. Wasn't necessarily because of the look but it was because how different it was! A lot of people hated it and like you mentioned, wanted/expected another colorway of the first two Union x AJ1s. I did myself. But seeing these I love how different they are and how union chose to go a completely different way than we all expected. Would love to get these and have another wild statement piece in my collection.
I actually totally love these - it's something tastefully different on a Jordan 1. Huge respect taking the leap.
People who don't like these better keep that same energy when they drop. These are hard.

You’re right in that the Footscape is coming back later this year into next year, so this aligns with that rollout strategy. Nike already leaked some of those drops.
Was not feeling them initially, but they are definitely growing on me. Hope the negative energy keeps up so I can actually grab a pair
I did not like the first images of these, but I think this is gonna be one of those pairs. I just looks so much better in person. Thank you so much Seth for getting these in and giving us a review! One thing I do have to say is I hope sometime soon you get excited and happy like you used to be in your old videos about three years ago you seem so much happier doing this and more upbeat, whether you need a small break from TH-cam that is perfectly fine man we understand.

Found it weird when the first leaks came out. However when the on foot pics came out, I really like them, especially with the yellow laces.

Air Max 90 Woven was the first time I saw a woven material placed on a sneaker and it was also my first sneaker above 200$ and this was back in 2016.
So when I saw these AJ1's with almost the same woven effect(they used different materials from what I can see) I totally knew I'll need to cop them! Can't wait for August!

I think theses are so amazing. This definitely an advancement with the Jordan brand. They have been doing recolors with crazy names for a long time. It’s a great sight to see something envelope pushing. These shoes are fire.

Just recently got a pair of these for 140 dollars… DS too. At first I was skeptical. But these really grew on me. Such a good color way. Them yellow laces really make it pop too. I got some mint ones on the way as well 🙏🏼
This collab is such an enigma to me: I hated them when pictures first leaked, then start to dig them when better quality & on-foot shots started to surface. Now seeing them in action.... they've lost me again.
Perhaps if I see them in hand they will change my mind again. Although knowing how hype works these will DEFINITELY sell out.

These are fire don’t care what anyone says. Not an avid collector have a small collection and tend to go for the more different stuff the big companies put out. That being said I will be going for these when they drop.
I cannot wait to rock these. I like woven Nikes. I usually purchase footscapes every few years and it’s time again.

Thanks Seth! I HATED these at first but they grew on me and I am waiting on a pair from GOAT that I paid only $235 instant ship. The quality on these is what sold me. That and the fact that they are slept on because I hate wearing what everyone else is. I like to be different and I am glad these are sleepers. JB should have quality like this on every release but sadly it’s all about pumping out cheap sneakers and appeasing resellers. These are DOPE IMO and I cant wait to get them in hand. Color block is 100. Woven was slightly growing on me but after watching them up close on foot....I hate the way they buckle at the woven part.

The colours of these are amazing, the white, sail, yellow, grey and the green stitching works so well, possibly top 10 ever, i just get human centipede vibes from the weird stitches.

jacquemus and nike did an air force 1 in solid black and white that weaves the sole to the upper in a way that's very similiar to this so definitely something theyre trying to put out there
From all the initial hate, it seems like they will be easy to get,... but you know people are going to still go for it. I guess the new wave is to cop and cancel if price doesn't go up on Stockx after the drop. SMH

If the shoe was different clored, like a bred color and the line was same color or white. it could have been a "bone" going through the shoe, and with BRED color it could have been a reaper kinda style, i think it would rock!

The upper material is the same with the AJ1 high og craft vibrations of naija and for me the vibrations of naija is more clean colorway

I’m ordering these the day of even if I take an L on SNKRS and Nike apps and have to pay a little above retail on StockX 🔥. Nike Footscapes in itself are dope, so these are a no brainer for me.
I've seen enough fly shit to know someone can get these off if they know what they're doing. You have to get the fit and style/theme of the fit just right, but it can be done. You kind of have to rock a Cam Newton 2023 style fit to get these off.
No one was on the first union 1s release. They even trolled round 2 with it. They resold for 500 for the first 2 months after release and shot up to 1k where they sat for almost a year. Now the original 1s release sits above 2k conservatively speaking. Don’t sleep on these 😂

I love em … I remember when a lot of people hated the Union 4s when they 1st dropped lol. Hopefully I can get 2 pair of these for retail. Between these and the brown snakeskin dunks are my sneaker of the year for 2023

i wish they came with some sail laces or even some seafoam green ones to match the stiching. May do a lace swap when i get them to test the waters. I actually have been eyeing these and seeing a inperson review makes me like them way better than the images which was something i had a worry for

People go crazy for off white stuff which at the time was new and different. I think those Unions will def get hyped up big time later on. They will be one of those Jordan 1s that'll be $1000 in a few years. I love the wovens so I think it's great idea
