The best modification for the Hobie Outback!

A couple modifications to improve both comfortability and accessorizing the Hobie Outback. I'm really excited to try this out on the water and see how well everything works.

Here's a little trick for Port and starboard it helps me remember when I have a blank moment.
Port has 4 letters and so does left.
Port the drink is red.

one advantage of your third party rail setup is it puts the rail out on the perimeter of the boat. (Hobie's Outback H Rail aligns with the cockpit H Rail which puts it inside close to the seat sometimes it makes it difficult to attach accessories.)

So have you had a chance to try this out with the new rail option? Looks like a pretty slick alternative. The primary concern I have would be steering access. Also what is the height from top of gunnel to top of rail?

I have several times now and yes it gets in the way a little, but once you get used to the bar being there it's not a big deal at all. I love the amount of options it provides so it's worth it.
