      I’ve been taught if your a right handed tier you should dub to the left as it further tightens the dubbing, if you dub to the right as a right handed tier it will loosen the dubbing, what do you think, I’m curious to know.
      Really enjoy your fly tying skills.

    I can tie with just about any material natural or synthetic,but Partridge even now gives me trouble

      I love the finished look of it but finding and using the right sized feather on a small pattern can often be difficult. I often substitute out my partridge with brahma hen or something else.

      @@HolsingersFlyShop I've tried the trick of tying the partridge forward all around the hook shank then push it back with thread wraps maybe I'll have to try that brahma wing
