A lot of todays car problems are directly related to the emissions crap. Cars would last a lot longer with it. The tech they used in the 1970s to filter out your exhaust was enough.
Yeah nonsense. I've had my hardbody for 26 years and it's now 233k. The tech back in the 70s was crap; most cars, including american cars had a hard time making it to 100k even when you did everything you were supposed to. I've owned the muscle cars and never had one that lasted more then 5 years before it was too costly to fix and not worth fixing myself. I credit the lifeline for my hardbody to the materials, and engineering which includes the ecu which is designed to keep the engine running at it's optimum. Definitely can't run mine without the ecu. I agree the evap system is crap and last year I found that the bpt valve and egr weren't working so you can probably get rid of that. Not sure what the fuel trims look like w/o the evap but try it. Probably still works fine. So what else is smog related.
At 02:34 you have a bundle of items removed from the left of the intake manifold which includes the swirl valve control switch and swirl valve solenoid. Question: How did you eliminate these 2 trouble codes P1130 & P1400 to pass DEQ? I have a check engine light post EGR delete/bundle removal at 02:34. P1130 - Swirl control solenoid/valve. P1400 - Exhaust gas recirculation control (EGRC) solenoid valve. I got a 1997 which is OBD2 BTW and need to pass DEQ.
hey bro at .44 seconds in the top left theres valve thing on top of the canister. what did you do with the hose that came off of there? was it just unplugged or did you cap it off
You created a vacuum leak. The EGR bypasses the throttle plates allowing more air into the engine. Since it is unmetered the engine runs lean, hot, and higher RPM.
I did an Egr/vacuum delete in my 97 Nissan Hardbody, after putting headers on it, in idle the RPM’s bounce from 1500-2k constantly .. it’s really embarrassing at stop lights 😅 it’s a Ka24e , any ideas?
@@STONEBROKEGARAGE thanks man! you’ll see some videos of my 240 sliding up here in WA state! I plan to also buy a hard body! D21 was my first ever vehicle, I bought it from my principal for $500...loved that truck so much
EGR isn't just an emissions control. It reduces combustion temperature, and reduces pumping losses for part throttle operation. A malfunctioning EGR makes an engine run poorly. A working EGR IMPROVES engine life and running.
You should swap in an S13 intake manifold. Cleans up the engine bay a lot and theres not really any good videos on it
Thanks bud. So many egr delete vids and very vague info about the vacuum lines.

Can u please do more engine mods to your truck...it can even be an engine swap for all I care...I just wanna see this thing rip already...😩
I just did an emissions delete and now my d21 won't start any help?
Hey I wanted to know what your wheel setup is I’m looking to do something different to my d21

did you solve this ?

i have 3 fuel hoses coming from the tank , the one closest to the motor is that just a vent hose?
I have a s13 intake if you are interested .
Any updates on this matter? Am trying to take mine off of my D21 I bought it bout 2 weeks ago she’s been idling pretty high

I have EGR code came on, can I just block off EGR valve? and what else I should do to avoid the code coming back on.
If you remove the EGR you will get code’s
@@STONEBROKEGARAGE thank you.
Soon there will be a new car, everyone keep your eyes 👀 out!
Yessir ! Bring your car by once it’s done so we can make some videos on it

Check for vacuum leaks
* epa would like you know your location *
Not California
Hahahahahahahaha!!!!
Remove battery and put it on the passenger back seat with a box mount so it can sit in place.
Can you just delete the stuff up by the driver side by the headlight and down by the exhaust
Did the egr delete help your gas mileage?
What about the fuel regulator I got two hoses
did you figure it out
Need your help bro. I did a egr delete and vacuum and my truck starts n cut back off.
So does mine, can't figure out what's going on, put it all back on and still doesn't work
@@fordmaster6975 oh man that’s crazy. Idk what to do
were you able to figure it out?
@@solarflareb2379 have not gotten a chance to as yet
My rpm’s bounce like it’s Fukken possessed
It’s been a while since this was posted but is there away you can show me all the ports you blocked off
Would you post actual pictures of exactly what you’re taking off
Thanks man!!!
Yes I can take a couple pics today and post it on my Instagram story

Hey any update on this ?
Hey, is that truck on air ride or is it static dropped?
Static
