Super Tuesday - more than likely - will have settled the Republican nomination either Trump, as the all-but Republican nominee, or someone else, who catches the momentum and becomes the Republican nominee. Right now, as of the end of 2023, the Republican nominee will be neither DeSantis nor Haley.
Meanwhile, the incumbency of President Biden will create a groundswell for returning him for a second term in November 2024 (despite present low polling numbers).

So no one wanted a Biden vs Trump rematch, but Republicans would overwhelmingly nominate Trump and Democrats have no guts to challenge Biden into a primary contest. In the end, both parties will do its part to give what no one ever wanted. Crazy.
Only got into politics recently I see? The GOP has gone so extreme and the only way we can change the outcome of their primary is to vote but in many states, I believe you need to register as Republican to vote in their primary. More reasonable people need to register as Republicans and vote in their primary.

I expect to see a "voting booth effect". People may tell a poll taker they're for this candidate or that, but when it comes time to mark the ballot, they may go differently.

To describe the US General Election as "Once every four years" is objectively absurd. Unlike other western nations, the campaign for the US presidency seems to last from the day one president takes office, or about 45 months. In the UK, Canada, Australia, etc, the election campaign lasts less than 45 days.

That's how hysteria and technology has affected society through the years. As we turned into the 21st century, it turned into that. Before that only a***oles pushed their political opinion around. And the number of a***oles in society has just grown ten fold since then.
The party in those countries tell you who your leader is too with you no choice.
Polls are just a slice in time that are often wrong due to sampling and fickleness of some voters at the voting booth.

Most Europe countries won’t pay attention to campaigns until 3-6 months close to the election. This is the systematic problem existing in today’s election. Both parties overspend funding and time on election campaigns instead of delivering on promises. Partisanship exhausts both sides, the divergence gets worse every time. From the day one of a presidential term, both parties will be preparing for next election, conflicting each other, new policies barely make the way out.
Well Trump also announced his bid for reelection a lot earlier than the traditional norm so he forced the media to cover him.

Polls are actually pretty accurate . The problem is the dems usually under perform vs republicans because of voter turnout … especially young people. Any average poll that has the dem nominee either losing or within a 2-3% margin of error is catastrophic for any democrat. The dem candidate needs to have an average of around 4-6% to have a comfortable win . Look up the numbers in the past and you will see my point is 100% factual . Biden is in big trouble and if the election was held today he would lose .

Having looked into this very subject, with the exception of Eisenhower, every other incumbent president had the same slump in popularity as Biden. Things didn’t turn around until the end of the first quarter of the election year.

strangely enough I havent met a single democrat who claims that trumps trials are their biggest concern. I think its realy only a social media thing. In person the most common thing I hear from both sides in the determining their vote is the health of the economy and conflicts

The US dollar's value about to dissappear (it only held 2% of its original value, which was only being held up by Saudi Arabia selling their oil in US dollars. NOW Arabia joined bricks and accepts other currencies)
