  • The #Simpleshot Sparrow Review a Zachary Fowler Design
    In this video I review the Sparrow the slingshot Zachary Fowler designed and named after his daughter. This slingshot is a pleasure to shoot and is an excellent design that shoots great out of the package.

    It seems I have made an error in the intro. Zach did not bring the slingshot on alone with him. What I meant to say was simpleshot provided him with the stuff for the show. My apologies!

    Thanks for the review! I am totally going to pick one of these up! For what’s it worth, you do a great job with reviews. I agree with you about the bands they send out. They are always really stout! I do like simple shot black but I prefer .5 or .6. Again, great review brother! 👊

      Thanks for the kind words brother. I think you will love this frame. I had my doubts at first but it shoots fantastic and it has a comfortable design that locks in your hand. Yup their lighter bands are great. But I prefer to make my own bands. I also don't like their pouches. They are fine after the break in but it takes a long time and it seems they tie all their bands for ttf frames.

    I just got this a week ago. Recently I've been making my own frames but I wanted to give this a try and booooooy oh boy am I glad I did. I think it is the best slingshot to come out of simpleshot. Really impressed and surprised. Great frame, great price, comfortable and enjoyable. Well done Zach and thank you Nathan!

      It really is nice. A lot of people are trashing it because it is just a hunk of plastic. They can say what they want the sparrow shoots like a champ.

      @@ATOMark you're kidding me? Most other slingshots are "hunks of plastic" LMAO boy some people are really..............ugh. Anyway, I think it's the most comfortable, stable, and perfectly weighted frame that Simpleshot has ever produced. I fricken love it. As somebody who owns over 100 frames, I think my opinion has a little bit of weight. I guess you can't please everyone.

      Thanks brother. To be honest I had my doubts about this one but for $20 it was worth it. I was surpised how comfortable it was to hold. So I put the bands on and took my first 2 shots. 2 frame hits. I couldnt hit a thing I was even missing the catchbox. I really didn't like the feel of the bands and swapped them up. Instantly it shot like a dream. With a little more range time with that slingshot I will shoot as well as any of my other top shooters I'm sure.

    Any change in future the Sparrow come with band clips
    I found out that the Wasp Uniphoxx clips is just right size for the Sparrow tip.
    If i drill the Sparrow to fit those clips, will it loose it strength ??

      No idea if it is in the works at simpleshot but I wish they would considder it. You do run a risk if modifying the forks. It may be good of it could break and hit you in the eye. That is a decision you will have make.

    I love your reviews bro stay blessed from the uk.....also a quick question I been racking my brains trying to figure out what is different between thumb brace grip and pinch grip....I shoot ott predominantly and I'm most accurate with my hand shaped like the letter C and i find when I use the C type grip n hold the frame as close to edge of fork tips as possible then I can't miss a shot.....so ive thought so thumb brace must be thumb goes up onto frame fork that must be the brace bit but it's still unstable unless you even out the grip other side moving index finger up onto frame fork but isn't that just pinch grip.??? Please add your opinion if you understand my question it's something that really drives me nuts especially when I see people saying this is pinch grip but this is thumb brace grip but to me looks like the same thing???

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thumb brace you will wrap your index over the frame and the thumb will go on the bottom fork face thats on the shooters side only. Pinch grip you are holding the top part of the handle in the webbing of your hand between your thumb and index finger. Your finger and thumb will wrap around to the target side of the frame. Hope this helps.

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That really depends on your anchor point and personal preference. I prefer clipped frames to wrap and tuck. Both fork widths are in the range I shoot well. So I would lean towards the scout lt because of the clips but both are great frames.
