could you tell me where the live wire connects to the one to the left of the neutral input basically, where does the SL go to? . Just would really be appreciated if you could get back quite quickly top work
Hi the sl is the switched live,so for example its the live that goes to your pull cord. Usually the sl goes to a round jnc box,in that jnc box you have permanent live and neutral from your feed supply. Then the live goes down to a light pull cord,as you pull your switch the live then goes back to the jnc box and switched live. I can send a diagram on a new you tube video for you
@@markrocketmangrimstead thank you so much. This has worked a treat. I actually thought it was that about an hour ago. What I have found is when I turn the pool cord on for the bathroom light it takes split-second for the shower light to come on any insight on that would help
I have a slightly older model that this as the circuit board is different. Mine wouldn’t start and kept trying on and off. It needed a replacement timer circuit board which is pretty easy to do due to the cradle system shown here. Small screw driver and take a pic of what colour wires are where (black/blue one side, orange, yellow and black the other). Make sure the fan is ISOLATED!!!!
I used 5 years vertically no any problem still working but batter use horizontally... just I want to say is not waterproof cover for TIMER BOARD. I changed one time TIMER BOARD. When is ON have electricity Don't TOUCH because is NOT waterproof.... :)
My existing extractor only has two wires, live and natural. it also has its own switch i.e. not connected to the light switch. How to I connect this with the light switch?
I disconnected my existing extractor which it has its own switch with, can I just use the same wire to connect this fan? I have a switch for the extractor and a separate light switch as well, or do I just connect it to the light switch?
Yes, the existing extractor switch and light swtich are outside the shower room. The wiring is through the loft. Do I use the existing extractor switch or connected to the light wiring?
Can you remove the fan? If so it would be easier to clean both the unit and the fan. Looks like a single screw at th-cam.com/video/PQt_JcVfjXk/w-d-xo.html in the video

Posative contribution great advice👍✔
Hi I think rhis is the same problem as mine. Can I ask where you got the board from please
@@christophephilippe1481 sorry it was a while ago and i dont have any paperwork. Its been good since though.
I like this idea.

@@markrocketmangrimstead im guessing you like the idea as well.
can these be mounted vertically?
I would always install horizontally, otherwise the condensation will travel back down the ducting into the ceiling vent
@@markrocketmangrimstead I was going to use it to move fumes? Thanks
Ahh that would be fine then no problem

Hi, i would wire it to a separate new pull cord switch if its in a bathroom.
Look on google 1 way lighting switch diagram

Yes, but make sure the switch is a pullcord type if it's a bathroom or toilet
@@zenganow or if the existing switch is out side of the bathroom ,being a normal on off wall switch that woul be ok

You sound exactly like my neighbour no way
