    Hi Ciara, thanks for the film. Any tips for changing accommodation if you don’t get allocated what you wanted, eg. on Newton Campus for first year? Thanks!

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The accommodation team are super helpful! A lot of people drop out in the first month so they can normally allocate you a room if someone leaves - I had a great time on campus in first year though ☺️

      Thank you!! It’s definitely had its ups and downs - I wouldn’t recommend studying psychology there but doing Education studies has been a lot better for me and Bath itself is a gorgeous place to live as a student and feels super safe ☺️

      Bit of a long shot but i’m trying to understand how the accommodation works in Bath as i’m considering going there in September! I’m doing criminology, would LOVE to talk to you about your experience, not usually one to do this but your video seemed so helpful xx

    I am pretty sure all the UNITE owned halls are the most expensive ones.

    Hey, I have a question, if you live in accommodation at Bath Spa do they kick you out during the holidays or do you live there all throughout the year

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on your contract! Although I don’t know of anyone who actually got kicked out, shorter contracts usually meant you left earlier for summer. Everytime I was in halls/twodio I kept some stuff there over Christmas and easter

    I’m studying at Bristol this year but due to their lack of accommodation have been offered Green Park House. Do you reckon i’ll still get the same kinda experience living in Bath but going to uni in Bristol?!?

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I think so!! You can walk to the train station from Green Park and it’s only about 10 minutes on the train - also a lot a of people drop out in the first couple of weeks so you may be able to find accommodation in Bristol if you prefer it ☺️

    Hey! :)
    I am considering Bath Spa for studying Children's Publishing. Do you have any idea about the course? Also, how far is Corsham Court from Green Park House accommodation?

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Is that a masters course?? I’ve never been to corsham court myself but Green Park is right next to a bus stop and the university does a lot of shuttle buses that might take you there! It’s worth looking at the Corsham court website I’m sure there’s more information there!

    Are these on-campus accommodations for free? How much do you pay?

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They are not free! Check the Bath Spa accommodation website, the cost has probably gone up since I lived there

    hi! i’m going to study at bath spa for a semester, would you recommend green park or on-campus accommodation for an exchange student? which is a better place for meeting people and making friends? :)

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both are super social!! Green park is better to get into town as you can walk, although I’ve heard Green Park has been sold and no longer being student accommodation?? That might be from next September I’m not sure. Good luck I hope you have the best time 🥰

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for some reason this didn’t come up in my notifications! I’m not sure about international fees but in for U.K. students its £9250 a year and they usually take it in 3 instalments from student finance (it never goes into your account directly), maintenance loans go in to your bank account

I didn’t have an interview for my course however I would say be yourself, have good eye contact, make sure you know key requirements and course module titles - ask they interviewer questions! Such as what jobs have graduates gone on to do after completing the course? How has covid impacted teaching?

    Do you know if you can have visitors in Charlton court accommodation?

    • @xCiaraLouisexx
      @xCiaraLouisexx  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With Covid last year you weren’t allowed to have overnight visitors (im pretty sure people still snuck in though) but you’re probably allowed to now they might just need a negative test/double jabbed ☺️ at green park we had to sign people in but in Sydney we didn’t as there was no reception area - I’ve never been in Charlton so don’t know procedures! I’m sure it will be in the guidebook when you move in
