The reason everybody in the comment section has it is because his video was shared in our group for ppl with visual snow(over 8000 members),it is rare, educate urself.
I didn't know visual snow existed but I do notice its symptoms. I can make it resemble images/objects sometimes, though I cannot really control what. Also, it gets worse the more unconscious I become (when sleepy), or when not using my eyes.
I’m so glad people are trying to spread awareness of this as it may be annoying for a lot of people. I have the (disorder?) where I just see static it’s like what he showed but slightly less mild and I just thought it was normal till I for some reason thought it wasn’t, mostly because I don’t think your vision is supposed to look like an early 2000s live tv show. I can see it better when I focus on it and even have this floater (If floaters are supposed to go away then I’m screwed cause this thing’s never gone away) and I never knew it was so rare to the point most eye doctors don’t even know the (disorder thingy) if it isn’t going to get worse or if it isn’t going to kill me or something I kinda wanna keep it (even though it makes me highly sensitive to light, usually takes me a good 20/30 minutes just to stop squinting and car lights are way to bright for me (I HATE high beams) but a lot of my family tell me I can see very well in the dark compared to them like I was able the see a sign that said 60 mph maybe like 130 feet away before my mom could read it. Long story short thanks for giving your time for a incurable maybe soon to be curable (disorder thingy... I’m not sure if it’s a disorder, a disease or what)
Ive only turned 14 and its gotten really worse to the point where i look at some letters that are which normally seeable i cant tell them apart due to the static images even typing this is quite hard
When I was younger, my eyes used to be able to gradually adjust to darkness, but now it looks like the darkness is blank black. No silhouettes. No idea of where objects are. No idea of where the wall and ceiling meet.
@@sweetyfri I'm sorry you have to deal with this so severely - hopefully science comes through and there'll be way to make things less difficult for you and other people suffering as well :)
Madzie 2000 i think i have it (or something like it) because when i look around in any light condition if i focus on it it gets super bad where i see patterns in green/red overlaying my vision where i get so indulged in it i end up missing 5 mins of class. I also seem to get distracted easily so when i start noticing the visual snow i end up staring off into space for long period of time without noticing what i’m doing.
the real reason this needs awareness. is because eye doctors are uneducated on this. they always run it off as floaters and rarely bring attention to u. for my expirence when I was 5 I woke up with it I thought I had a superpower lol. but as I got older. the symptoms like after images in darkness. got worse. the visual snow never got worse
Lmao I also thought I had a superpower, when I was really little I used to tell people that I could see air😂my parents and teacher thought I was crazy and up until the age of 14 I lived on thinking I had the useless superpower of seeing air, until I looked it up and was like “oh..”
@@frumpadump es triste.. de noche no veo bien T_T alguien esta asi.. empezo a los 16 ahora tengo 32.. y ah empeorado...alguien hace algo para poder ayudarme
I have this. I was 18 years old. Just woke up with it, I also have anxiety and sever migraine from time to time. Trailing lights, ton of floaters. I personally think anxiety and panic Attacks have a lot to do with it. I’m 38 now it never got worse or better.
i’m sure that’s the case. i’ve been suffering from panic disorder since i was 8 years old. i’m also wondering if some of the medications given to people with panic attacks has any effect on the brain, since i was taking antidepressants since i was 10 (18 now) and don’t remember having it all my life, but for all my teen years.
Yep I think panick attack bad one triggered mine too.. I came off my med Incase it was antidepressant side effect still there. The vs is mild but those floaters outside oh my gah. They are terrible.
I also have visual snow, I didn't know how to describe it to my parents, and the doctor has never heard of anything like it so they said it was just my imagination.
I have the same lol. I always assumed that it‘s normal, but one day I decided to google it and found out that it‘s very rare. It‘s basically like you say, it doesn‘t disrupt my vision or anything, but if I look at something white, like a wall, I can see red and blue dots everywhere. I would‘ve never thought that it‘s such a rare condition. I also remeber having it forever. I had it since I was a child.
I’m starting to think I might have this. I always assumed everybody has this like overlay of static in their vision so I never thought anything of it. It never affected my vision or anything and my brain usually ignores it, for lack of better words. But if I want to see it I can. Learning that not everyone has this is very weird for me. I’m still somewhat convinced that I’m overreacting and assuming I have a disorder that actually don’t have and that what I’m experiencing is something everyone has. I don’t know
my visual snow is the same in how it doesnt affect my typical vision and i can tune it out in coloured scenarios (like if i was in a park its hard to see compared to my house with white walls) but my snow is actually a really translucent rainbow that definitely "pulses" (cant think of a good word, it just does the static motion of moving but it doesnt fade in and out)
I have visual snow syndrome and tinnitus... I thought everyone saw things like this and I also thought everyone was supposed to get occasional ringing in their ears when I was younger.
I have visual snow. I’ve had it for about 5 years now from what I can remember. I’ve noticed that it gets more severe when I don’t sleep well and when I don’t take care of myself the way I should with eating and stress relieving habits. I have a sudden and random ringing in my ears and I’ve anxiety for ever. The more research I do the more I start believing that these are all connected. Visual snow does affect my daily life, I hope that one day it goes away as randomly as it came.
I am a astrologer by proffesion I was doing research on rare diseases through astrology. It will be very helpfull i u provide me your Date of birth with year and time of birth and country and state u were born.
I just found this video and it's true! My mother, sister, and I all have visual snow and as he said, it's always been there. It doesn't make me blind or anything at all! Sometimes, I'll see strange horizontal lines that sort of blend in with the static and it's a bit weird?? Nonetheless, this is a great video! >v
Those lines you’re seeing are probably afterimages from an object you were looking at a few moments ago. Everyone had them, but people with VS usually have more pronounced ones that appear quicker.
Alex Dansbyy Yes! The ones when you’re reading ARE afterimages for sure. They’re the afterimages of the lines of text, and since we stare at text a lot when reading, they take their sweet time going away.
Literally just figured out I had this an hour ago and have been searching for more information on it when I found your video. Thank you for sharing this, it helps to know I'm not alone.
You perfectly described what I have been trying to explain to my family and friends! You almost said the same exact things I have, it’s so weird!! I thought it had been normal also...wow never thought it was different. I’ve never met anyone with it or anyone that has any idea what I’m talking about...will definitely show them this video now THANK YOU!
Omg, thank you so much for making this video. I have this exact condition. I actually thought that I was seeing energy or the fabric of our reality. Lol But anyway it's like static or like you said snow. Its moving as well. I can't really tell if there is color to it or if it's clear. It's really annoying when I look up at a blue sky. All my life I've had it and even thought that maybe I had a detached retina or something. But now I know I'm not the only one who experiences this.
Pug because it’s not understood yet (like so many other things), doctors can only speculate on Wtf VS is. there may even be various causes.. in diff cases for diff people. I know a few people who developed VS after a spiritual experience. While some say it’s just a medical condition they have. You gotta figure out why you have it in your own case.
Josh's SkyWatching Channel «energy or the fabric of our reality» that’s what i thought too, great written though. But i once read that the white dots we see flickering is actually white bloodcells. I don’t know if this is true or not, but IT makes kind of sense.
I had this thing since the age of 13... And now at the age of 20 I am dying every single day...this thing ruined everything in my life....(vs, high BP, derealization, memory loss...specs, migraine, tinnitus etc.) I even don't know how much I will live...🙏😞😞 (Indian)
@Himanshu 10th i,14 pretty much okk.. Since it's been a long time, now I have strength to fight...other visual symptoms are same ,,but after regular exercise and Omega 3 supplements etc. I'm now better
So im 40 and I've had static vision come and go for years (quiet possibly due to random old injuries I was always the type to) but they are Def different then normal vision as I get that also and I get a few more ocular issues .. but with me they often signify a potential migraine. Not all migraines hurt BTW ou guys could have silent migraines with ocular disturbances if it comes and goes like w me and isn't all the time. (I have alot of the other symptoms as well.) Anycase. Back to the point. Most of these snow symptoms and others like it happened when I damaged the very upper area of the spine. From shoulders up into the skull, my disks slip in and out alot you see after that. ... when slipped out... alot of these symptoms show. Get your necks looked at for alignments and goto a neurologist
I got palinopsia too. It's actually not trailing specifically, although that is an unfortunate symptom of having palinopsia. Palinopsia itself refers to an increased frequency/exposure of afterimages, which under certain lighting conditions can result in some serious trailing. Especially in low light.
@@Yrenne when I was younger I used to play in the dark and then I just turned on the lights and it never could be seen. visual snow to me never got worse itself. the symptoms got more and more extreme as I got older.
@Himanshu I have myopia, and I've seen these dots in only some surfaces but one day I was very anxious for something and felt a bit depressed, I've never felt like that in my life, and after that day was even worse and I can see the dots almost anywhere specially in the dark
i like it, i think i have it really bad but it always makes me distracted in class because i like watching the patterns all over the white board and cabbits
thx man for the video hope people will contribute its very terrefing seeing it all day long in mine case its not mild some times when i get tired some black dots apper in my vision it get worse when i get tired really thx to vssi they are contributing a lot
Yeah it’s very mild. I can forget about mine for months at a time. I really doesn’t effect anything for me. My Tinnitus on the other hand is up and down because of my anxiety. If I’m well mentally then I won’t have a problem. However, as soon as I’m depressed or my anxiety is high, I can’t stop thinking about it and it becomes very annoying. Mind you I’ve had the same visual snow and tinnitus since before I can even remember. This is how I know anxiety worsens things by a mile.
You know some people didn't even know about this. Like he said they thought it was just normal. Rare does mean that some people have it. Comments like this piss me off. Yeah lets just call everyone fake. Grow up.
This relates to me so much!!! So glad to see I’m not alone. I have visual snow normally when I open my eyes first thing in the morning and then it’s not so bad the rest of the day. I have constant after images and trailing lights and hate driving at night because of my vision. I get migraines and have anxiety daily so it’s made me feel better watching this video and reading the comments to know I’m not the only one and it’s actually “kind of” normal ❤️
Woah! I said the exact same thing as a kid to my grandmother! I think I referred to them at first by saying that the dots keep me company in the dark, which really confused her. It's just literally millions of dots everywhere around me in the dark, but mine is about as mild and ignorable as yours. I also have to added layer of a slosh of vitreous fluid that swishes around when I look around, but that's probably from all of my eye surgeries. EDIT: WAH! I also have tinnitus, and apparently that vitreous fluid slosh I was talking about was the enhanced entopic phenomena you were talking about. now I don't know what's related to my document eye diseases (cataracts, glaucoma, etc.) and what's related to my minor neurological things (ADD, misophonia, exploding head syndrome, GD, tinnitus, etc.) Neat!
@@bcepni00 Haha thanks. Everything I listed is pretty minor honestly - on the flip side I have better color vision than the vast majority of people (I have perfect color vision and can also see more UV than most people as a result of my diseases), I've never broken a bone, etc.
It feels so amazing to hear someone else having an extremely similar experience to me. I’ve had this visual static my whole life but it’s becoming hard to concentrate in the big white rooms at university. I’m 20 and only just reaching out to my doctor who had no clue what I was on about haha
Honestly the more you think about it & focus on it, the more trapped you feel by it. I forgot it’s there when I just don’t think of it. I think it’s definitely anxiety-related.
@@dietcokezeros942 I think it depends on the individual. Certainly thinking too much about any chronic medical condition is going to make you more anxious about it, and that's going to make everything feel worse. But some people are more affected by anxiety than others. I'm kind of aware of my visual snow all the time, but usually not thinking about it much. It feels a bit of an exaggeration in my case to say I forget about it as such, but it's just like this is just how my life is, it's not a big deal kind of thing, from a psychological perspective anyway, although it does affect my physical ability. I think it is easier to live with when you're focusing on whatever it is you're doing rather than how your VS is affecting whatever it is you're doing
It’s strange because I asked my mom and dad if they see static in there vision and they said “yes, but it’s quite annoying” I even asked my brother if he sees this and he said a little bit to, and I also even asked my friends at school if they see a little bit of static in there vision and they said yes to... I’m pretty sure it’s more common then we think lmao
I randomly woke up with this in September, and have been dealing with it for 9 months now. I have days where it’s very severe and other days where it’s barely noticeable. Thanks for sharing this so I know I’m not alone! It sucks not many doctors are educated on this, it took me 5 eye doctors and 3 neurologists later. I thought I was going blind for the first week and here I am months later. I also have light sensitivity especially driving at night. And seeing photo trailing. Thanks again!
The famous French painter Georges Seurat must have had this condition as well. He used it to his advantage by creating visual masterpieces. Monet's severe myopia was the genesis of his astounding Impressionistic paintings. The condition is very likely caused by some neurological idiosyncrasy and not by a mechanical flaw in vision. And you are correct in assuming that this condition is just another phenomenon in your basket of unique characteristics that makes you so special. Very interesting video ♥
I finally told my optometrist about this and I’ve gone through a lot of testing this past two months but nothing has actually been discovered. I’ve had an MRI which turned out fine and multiple eye exams which showed no deviation from normal. I had a lumbar puncture today and I’m waiting for results. Every single time I took a test or had an exam, the person giving the exam would ask why, then I would tell them and they looked at me like I was crazy. My sister said she saw it too, but she took it back after she saw that I had to go take these tests. She changed her experience to just seeing it when she stands up really fast.
Been through that road. Multiple eye checks, MRI, all fine. I get the sense that in the dark is way worse, but, don't we all see some static / grainy vision in the dark? (like a dark room, very barely lit) ?
@@alankennedy6606 yea it is worse in the dark for me as well. sometimes i would turn the lights off and i would be unable to see anything but black grain for like ten minutes. even after nightvision has sort of kicked in, i can barely see with the grain over my vision still. it was horrible for childhood me and my vivid imagination. but apparently people don’t see any static in the dark? i’ve heard of people seeing starbursts or phosphenes in the dark but no explicit mention of it being staticky.
@@livent7514 Yeah i have no idea what's going on. I was suspicions about my rods failing but i think in that case we wouldn't see in the dark at all, not even in nightime on the streets and i see pretty ok. But yeah, dark and indoors, static / grainy stuff, noise basically on top of the vision. I close my eyes and i see the same static so cannot be occular. Did you ever do an EEG?
@@alankennedy6606 yea i’ve done an eeg and it all came back normal. at that point i was hoping something was wrong so they could have given me a diagnosis or try some treatment. i stopped pursuing a diagnosis last year and i just decided to deal with it. if i’m being honest it probably wouldn’t have a treatment in my lifetime and i don’t wanna have to be tested for the rest of my life for a disease that they won’t cure me of. i’m 18 im going to college and this is the least of my worries so ://

Thank you so much for this video! All of a sudden I just woke up with it... but I’ve been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks for over than 5 years already, so probably it has to do with that.. I thought I was going crazy
I have had this my whole life and always thought it was normal, just found out today its not and started crying, after years of confusion my years have been answered ❤
I've had this since I was a kid. I thought everyone sees the world like we do. Sometimes electro magnetic field appear on my vision too. Not floaters, just clear electro wavelengths or something like that.
Erica Green i see everything that’s related to VS, but also vibrations. Almost like a trip on mdma, but visual instead of that the actual eyes vibrates. It’s really annoying.
Ok but um I HAVE THIS- not very extreme but literally I thought everyone had it. It mostly bothered me during the night because I'd see it more when it's dark and it would be hard to sleep.
I get auras before migraines, I’ve had 3 in my life, the first time I threw up. The centre of my vision is a constantly changing aura and then I know I have a migraine coming, I never knew this was because of visual snow! Thanks for vid
The fact that we all describe it the same way and have the exact same situation since we were kids " telling our parents then they brush it off like " what are you talking about " then thinking this is what everyone has, having it for as long as we can remember... Everything you just said in the exact same order is what I've been hearing from everyone in this community and that's how I also used to describe it before hearing about it online...
its kinda creepy how all of us did the exact same "my vision looks staticy" or "i see so many dots in my eyes" and no one believed us, just in these comments its hundreds of people saying the exact same thing, and then everyone saying they only ever found out it existed after randomly researching it, i havent seen a single person with VS say a doctor diagnosed them without them having to bring it up and explain it
Thank you for making this video! I recently realized that this was different from what other people see, and I also have mild cases of other symptoms of visual snow. But to know that someone else has a mild case of it like me instead of the severe cases I usually read about is pretty cool!
Thank you for doing this video! I've had this all my life and my Visual Snow is Not mild. I have all the common symptoms associated with the whole syndrome. Luckily I can drive a car fine and I have a good sense of humor. Your video will do a whole lot to spread awareness!
Timothy Salthouse This has been happening to me for more than 2 years. I went to eye specialists and neurologists, all my medical reports are normal. They referred me to psychiatrist. It feels like the situation getting out of hand. I am scared. My family don't understand it.
I learned today that I actually have this because I’ve wondered about this my whole life and now I finally know what’s going on. I don’t feel crazy anymore.
One of my best friends also has this condition. She wrote a computer program that created static effect to give me an idea of what it looked like, and it’s wild.
AdamasDragon We didn’t actually think of using iso static at the time. We had just finished up our classwork for a programming class so she used the extra time to whip something up really quick. Not to mention it seems like the visual snow is much more severe for her than the iso static appeared to be.
Woah! This has been eye opening, haha literally. I've been having most of these symptoms for my whole life and either not noticed or thought there was something was seriously wrong because I'm kinda a worrier. Thank you for posting this video, it's help me discover my truth and hopefully helps others as well.
this describes exactly how I see it. i didn’t notice it much in the morning before I knew this was a condition; but in the night it was vivid. i used to think I could see atoms. worst thing about it is, now you know some people can’t see it, now it’s very much there. you can’t unnotice it
Thank you so much for making this video. About two years ago I went out with my uncle to fly a drone. About 3 months before that my science teacher talked about how the sun is very damaging to the eye and can blind you in seconds. Of course this is not true (the seconds part) but I was scared out of my wits. I have a tendency to overthink things. So i had already been scared of going blind. I can even say it is the thing I am most scared of. So when I was looking up at that drone I saw an eye floater. This led to me doing a lot of research and noticing other things. I was hypersensitive about all of the things about my vision. It has been 2 years (ish) now and i don’t know that i have gone a day without thinking about it. I try to forget but it is hard to when you always see them. I have gone to the eye doctor twice and both times they said i was fine. I also started being sensitive to light. I started bringing my sunglasses everywhere i went. To a point i dreaded going outside because i would see the floaters and it would be unpleasant. Of course i also noticed the static but i could remember seeing it as a kid before i saw my first floater. So i kind of just brushed that off. I am very grateful for you for this video. I have been tormented by this for two years without any explanation. On a deeper note, i have been praying for it to get better. This is Gods way of helping because now I know I am not alone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Wow this was long i just needed to talk about it somewhere and i figured other people with the same thing can not feel alone and also spread awareness.
I just found out about it being a rare symptom and I'm shook. As a kid, I would sometimes get scared of the static and tell my parents that there are weird bugs everywhere... I thought it was bugs, idk why. In my case the static isn't that bad, pretty similar to your situation, it doesn't really bother me and the slight ear ringing only occurs before I fall asleep. I do get bad headaches kinda often, tho, and I'm pretty sensitive to light
I have VS and I feel that this REALLY needs to be focused on more. I only recently looked it up and Im annoyed that no one else is really aware about this. I didnt really notice it being a problem until recently. I do plan on seeing a doctor about it but Idk if anything will help it.
I’m so happy that I’m not the only one with this! I just discovered that this condition has a name yesterday. I have all the symptoms that you’ve listed (and the symptoms on the visual snow foundation page) and I’m honestly just super happy that I’ve discovered this. I have multiple health issues and it’s interesting that a lot of the health issues I have are linked to visual snow (migraines, nausea, brain fog, etc.)
I got the same condition. Had it since my 20’s. It’s crazy, i felt like i was losing my mind at first. But i found some information on it and I wasn’t going crazy.
I made some research and it turns out that what ppl call “Visual snow “ is actually ppl seeing there own “INTRISIC EINGENGRAU” wich is basically the adaptation of the eye to color in general. It’s not supposed to be a problem but for ppl who have anxiety, OCD, ADHD, etc... it might cause some disturbances or over awareness of this phenomenon due to over sensitive areas of the brain.
@@philippe6787 VSS is often accompanied with physical symptoms like tinnitus, photophobia, nyctalopia and even migraines. There are modern medical tests like brain imaging modalities, FDG PET and VBM to diagnosis people with VSS These tests find brain metabolism and grey matter volume changes as surrogate parameters for brain function and structure in patients with VSS. If you look at the sky you can see your white blood cells moving fast through the air giving you that perception Everyone sees life a little bit different but you have to understand there almost no limits to these symptoms for some People with VSS have more then just static visuals and they disrupt everyday life whether they notice or not

SUPER SUPER LAYE BUT.. I also have visual snow!! I thought it was normal too XD.. just figured out a few months ago when your video popped up!! really glad to know I can still be a TH-camr [my dream] despite having visual snow, tinnitus, and other annoying buggy symptoms!!
Is it rare? I have it since im 6 and never found anyone, until now, who has it as well... Also, it´s pretty hard to explain it to someone else because even doctors only know about mouches volantes
Thank you so much for talking about it. I got it 2 years ago (I was 22) and when that first happened, no doctors knew what’s wrong, and I was going insane.. one of them even told me to see psychiatrist. I also have it accompanied by tinnitus that came at the same time. Also migraines for many years, but no visual aura. Basically just exactly how you just described your symptoms. Then I just found a video on TH-cam (another one) and in the comment section were all the people who share the same experience as me and that’s such a relief. From horror it became just something a little special about me. It’s important to talk about it so others like us can find it. Doctors really don’t know about it and I always just show them the Wikipedia page haha
@@user-lw5oc1tt8k So that people who have visual snow can find others who have it, which is really important for some people as they might feel like they're going crazy if they've suddenly acquired it and it can make some people less anxious about it to know that they're not crazy and other people have it too and that, y'know, they're not dying or anything. Also it means that people can ask questions about the symptoms other people experience as there's a lot of variation in both the types/number of symptoms and the severity of symptoms from one individual to another, so often people will make a post asking something like "how many people have this particular symptom?" or "how many people find visual snow debilitating?" or "is this thing that I'm experiencing related to visual snow?". And then it's also a place where people share news about research and awareness campaigns, like there was a medical conference on visual snow last summer which was publicised in visual snow facebook groups so that people who have visual snow would get to know about it. If a new research paper comes out, or an article is written somewhere in the media, or it gets mentioned somewhere (like this video, for example) that might be useful for people who want to find out more about the condition, people share those things in the facebook groups to let as many people as possible who have visual snow know about it. Basically, it functions as both a support group for those whose lives are significantly negatively affected by it, and as a platform for keeping up with the latest research and raising awareness.
I have this too, I always just thought it was normal. I see it a lot in dark areas and more in the edges of my vision. Also, I may have tinnitus, sometimes I start hearing loud ringing in one of my ears for a few seconds.

the real reason this needs awareness. is because eye doctors are uneducated on this. they always run it off as floaters and rarely bring attention to u. for my expirence when I was 5 I woke up with it I thought I had a superpower lol. but as I got older. the symptoms like after images in darkness. got worse. the visual snow never got worse
They don't know what to do with it. I suggest bring this case to scholars
I told my eye doctor a while ago and he just tried to pin it on "eye migraines" saying I was lucky I didn't get the headaches too. I wish lmao
Lmao I also thought I had a superpower, when I was really little I used to tell people that I could see air😂my parents and teacher thought I was crazy and up until the age of 14 I lived on thinking I had the useless superpower of seeing air, until I looked it up and was like “oh..”

I don’t know
I have it too :D
mojabaka everyone sees it in dark and on white walls
my visual snow is the same in how it doesnt affect my typical vision and i can tune it out in coloured scenarios (like if i was in a park its hard to see compared to my house with white walls)
but my snow is actually a really translucent rainbow that definitely "pulses" (cant think of a good word, it just does the static motion of moving but it doesnt fade in and out)

But anyway it's like static or like you said snow. Its moving as well. I can't really tell if there is color to it or if it's clear. It's really annoying when I look up at a blue sky. All my life I've had it and even thought that maybe I had a detached retina or something. But now I know I'm not the only one who experiences this.
Missouri SkyWatcher I have this as well.
Wat we are sensing is the electromagnetic field.
So is seeing visual snow, seeing energy or are they different. I still dont know how to tell :/
When I was a kid I thought I was seeing ghosts lol
Josh's SkyWatching Channel «energy or the fabric of our reality» that’s what i thought too, great written though. But i once read that the white dots we see flickering is actually white bloodcells. I don’t know if this is true or not, but IT makes kind of sense.

I got it at age 13 after being hit by a car. Also visual trailing (palinopsia).
I got palinopsia too. It's actually not trailing specifically, although that is an unfortunate symptom of having palinopsia. Palinopsia itself refers to an increased frequency/exposure of afterimages, which under certain lighting conditions can result in some serious trailing. Especially in low light.

Try Piracetam or Lamotrigine, for some, this meds help or even cure the visual snow

Dude I have been thinking exactly like you and I have same symptoms. I think this condition isn't super rare, people just ignore it.

I’ve had this as long as I can remember as well I always thought it was normal but it’s so annoying :/
I hate it :(
@@Krqptic 12? I never noticed it at that age, mine maybe just appeared because I noticed it 4 years ago
When I was about 5, I told my mom that I could see the air
The Greek word for this condition is “seeing air”
I got the same condition. Had it since my 20’s. It’s crazy, i felt like i was losing my mind at first. But i found some information on it and I wasn’t going crazy.
Thanks for highlighting this. It can be very annoying on certain days and in certain lighting conditions.
This describes everything I see perfectly holy shit
I made some research and it turns out that what ppl call “Visual snow “ is actually ppl seeing there own “INTRISIC EINGENGRAU” wich is basically the adaptation of the eye to color in general. It’s not supposed to be a problem but for ppl who have anxiety, OCD, ADHD, etc... it might cause some disturbances or over awareness of this phenomenon due to over sensitive areas of the brain.
And by the way every single human has “Visual snow” it’s just that most ppl don’t notice it”
@@philippe6787 VSS is often accompanied with physical symptoms like tinnitus, photophobia, nyctalopia and even migraines.
There are modern medical tests like brain imaging modalities, FDG PET and VBM to diagnosis people with VSS
These tests find brain metabolism and grey matter volume changes as surrogate parameters for brain function and structure in patients with VSS.
If you look at the sky you can see your white blood cells moving fast through the air giving you that perception
Everyone sees life a little bit different but you have to understand there almost no limits to these symptoms for some
People with VSS have more then just static visuals and they disrupt everyday life whether they notice or not
I know what visual snow is!
It's the snow that falls onto the ground. We see it.

Thanks it good to know someone else has it and has had it. I have Tinnitus but my tinnitus is actually really bad and I’ve just been complaining about my tinnitus and just finally look it up and found it and i just really hope it doesn’t get worse or maybe even better.
I have this and weed made it literally 10 times worse
yeah dont do weed
Same here!!:(
Weed made mine visible
How much worse? Forever?
Zyair Tv weed made mines visible also I’m pressed af 😤
Is it rare? I have it since im 6 and never found anyone, until now, who has it as well... Also, it´s pretty hard to explain it to someone else because even doctors only know about mouches volantes
I have it too bro your not alone man
i have the same visual snow condition as you. i didnt know i had it until u talked about it. i also thought it was a normal thing everyone has
Thank you so much for talking about it.
Oh my god.. I have this. Mine is also mild, I always thought it was normal. It’s more noticeable in the dark however
After reading this comment section I think its not as rare as you might have thought..
This video was shared in Visual Snow groups on Facebook (how I found it)- that's probably why there's so many people saying they have it!
@@aperson8934 whats the poinnt of a visual snow group?
@@user-lw5oc1tt8k Well what's the point of any group? Bring similar people closer.
@@aperson8934 if that happens to you (the anxiety stuff etc) you are really crazy and you should really visit a psychologist..
I have a mild case too. It sucks because it messes with my anxiety.
Lol sameee
I have this too, I always just thought it was normal.
I see it a lot in dark areas and more in the edges of my vision.
Also, I may have tinnitus, sometimes I start hearing loud ringing in one of my ears for a few seconds.
Thank you so much, this is so rarely talked about!
