    Hiya Arne 🌞, so nice to see how deft you are in your hand crafting! My friends Father was a submarine engineer and knitted all their various babywear to teenage woolens,whilst at sea in the navy- the only man l ever saw who knitted(apart from some Scottish crofters!)l also saw some who did marvellous embroidery! Nowadays it seems left to the women-except for couture designers,such as you and Carlos! Pleasure to watch you work(play😊).Best wishes, J.I.M.K Mrs. Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 😀 👍

    • @carollizc
      @carollizc 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Anna Manayan It really isn't that difficult. you need only to focus on the one needle you're working on, just like straight needles. When you're done all the stitches on that needle, you move to the next, and so on. At first, you'll have to remind yourself to pull the first stitch on each needle a little tighter, to avoid looser stitches there, but with time, it becomes automatic, and you won't even need to think about it. Good luck, and enjoy your dpn experience.

    Hello from the Deep South on the Gulf of Mexico! Enjoyed this hat video so much…could you please tell me the name of this hat. I have a question about the 96 cast on stitches. Do you use this magic number for most of your hats. I just recently purchased the Pelle hat where you used a bulky 40 yarn and it’s cast on was 48. Anyway I’m new to color work and would like to purchase my next hat that would require a less bulky yarn….I think I would be interested in this pattern. Your suggestions would be appreciated,.
    Thank you!

      Make your own knitting needles. If available use an other kind of cheap needles. Or these round pieces of wood for crafting. Chopsticks with an even diameter. Skewers from the kitchen... Care that your wood is smooth. For double pointed needles make a tip on both ends. For circular needles make a tip on one end and a pin on the other end. Take an infusion tube and put it over the pin. This works for needles that are thicker than your tube. Or use this method: www.knittersreview.com/how-to-make-your-own-circular-needles/
      Searche for "circular knitting needles diy".
      Happy knitting!

    Hello! I love your videos and enjoy your style of teaching. I happened to be watching this video and LOVE the background music that is playing. I do not see any info about it in the Description box, but would love to know what it is so I can find it to enjoy myself. Thank you!

      Hi Mary, we do not remember to be honest as this video is a bit old. We use music from TH-cam’s music library
