They run TV, fridge, showers on solar.. No KPLC.
There are certain solar panels that work even when there isn't much light. The investment is good, and for the long run zero bills.

How much is the battery?
Have been using mkopa 60wts solar the battery I don't remember very well and I'm too far using this for more than 6 yrs is the best I love it but my problem is battery is too small can't kick whole night na mimi ni mtu wa movie

We're going to build our house in Ruiru in a few years.
My wish is to go off grid with enough panels and batteries. I will certainly opt for Lithium batteries or the most advanced technology available in the near future. They can be discharged to almost 0%, last longer than lead acid and are maintenance free.
