Civilizations across time and space have consistently proven that if you eat sufficient calories according to your needs. Eat the whole foods as close to natural and seasonal as possible, the lifestyle diseases we have been undergoing over the last decades are significantly reduced. All if not all of these civilizations relied heavily on some sort of legume (garbanzo, lentil, beans, soy, etc.) some sort of grain or pseudo-grain (quinoa, barley, wheat, rice, corn) with plenty of local fruits and veggies.
Your body would easily adapt to them if you ate a small amount regularly. Even a tablespoon or two. You probably just lack enough of the type of gut bacteria that digests them because you never eat them.

OMG, beans? That toxic plant sht?
I'll take my healthy steak instead...
I dont eat beans because of the obvious reasons.

They make me fart so no thanks.
Ewe. Can't stand beans. Eat beans get bloated. Not for me.
Your body would easily adapt to them if you ate a small amount regularly. Even a tablespoon or two. You probably just lack enough of the type of gut bacteria that digests them because you never eat them.
Takes a couple months to get properly colonized so you can digest legumes be patient it’s worth it
Also you can try lentils, they don't cause any bloating, a lot easier to digest than regular beans. But yes, in time the body adapts to all beans, just be patient. And soak all nuts and beans overnight before consumption.
@@monikab3413 Nuts?
@@catherinealexander6255 Yep, nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, brazil nuts, all of them) should be soaked overnight too to reduce the lectins in them, which can cause malabsorption of nutrients, in large amounts are toxic and can cause digestive issues.
