- Everyone has memories. But how does that work in the brain? How does your brain store information for you to recall later? And how do we learn various skills, like playing an instrument, or riding a bike? As incredible as it may sound, we do have a reasonable understanding of this process, so let's get a closer look now!

I have generated many synaptic transmissions via watching this video. My neurons thank you! ^.^
This is a new kind of memory called temporary memory! 😂
I will have forgot this by the time you've finished explaining it 😂
Very interesting video and subject. I've always been fascinated by human memory.
I like your way to illustrate things. ❤😍
Very helpful , thank you
it seems we still know very little about this. We know what areas of the brain are involved in storing memories, we are knowing something about the mechanisms involved, but we still don't know specifically how they are stored - what kind of specific proteins or molecules are involved in memory generation and retrieval
I swear the idea of memory, cognition and thought are utterly baffling..
No.. no.. not really.
Interesting!
*Let's learn about learning* . - Prof. Dave.
The words that no teacher in school utters except roting materials.
Hemanth Kotagiri That is what school should be for, not the memorization of facts-
@@mikefelber5129 exactly. I totally agree with you. School has been a place were I forgot the beauty of math and science. I've had 12 full years of my time wasted on education that didn't even teach me how to manage my money. Screw that. I've learnt all those right from the scratch and currently doing my bachelor's in Computer science.
Hemanth Kotagiri That's awesome- Find your own path. I learned music by just trying, no body showed me that. School should focus more on personal development alongside wrote learning #YouRock
@@mikefelber5129 oh that's really cool. Like how did you learn music? Trial and error? Or some online courses? I'm curious to know!
thanks
you are awesome
Professor Dave, when do you plan to upload Pathology courses? Thank you so much!
It's not in my queue at the moment but I'd like to get to it eventually.
@@ProfessorDaveExplains Thank you for your kind reply. You are the best!
Hi how to rember reactions of organic chemistry for long ... I always forget in exam hall
Maybe as I know you are study before the exam even before 2 hours
Om pure and simple
Sir, where does the human brain store visual long term memory of shape ?
I have oestoporosis
Adjust!
1 person has something against learning? Interesting!
Tommy Heron Haha rly, Must be having a bad day

I never like psychology. I am a materialist. I want everything explained biologically.
But this is biology.
The speaker has a special gift for putting listeners to sleep. Very very boring presentation.
This isn't an action movie. It's basic biopsychology information. It's not for entertainment. It's for learning.
