I'm crying through out this entire show I grew up on the Price is Right got to play hooky from school to watch, the best game show host ever @ We all miss you Bob Barker.
The episode at 42:25 I remember watching that with my great grandma and I was holding my breath when I saw that 89,500 bid and I was like WOW AMAZING when Bob said the actual retail price and the crowd erupted in loud cheering, God Bless Bod Barker for lots of great Price is Right episodes.
Watching TPIR 40 years ago was part of my childhood and was automatic, love the fire alarm sound that goes off lol. R.I.P. to Bob Barker.. there won't ever be another host like him. Legend.
Thanks so much for sharing this epic montage of TPIR's classic Double Showcase Winners moments. I'm enjoying this very much. Honestly, the one that stands out the most to me was the August 1975 episode (at 2:59) where Sandy's opponent genuinely and graciously congratulates her on a fine win. No musical cues, no horns and clangs (yet). Just Sandy crying tears of joy, her opponent clapping for her, and the legendary Bob Barker engaging in a little small talk with the winner. Truly a great moment in the show's history. RIP Bob Barker, a true master of ceremonies. #tpir
I went to a taping in the 80's. It was a double over-bid. I lost my voice screaming "ONE DOLLAR!!!" to the second showcase bidder, but she didn't listen. Bob comes into the audience on those rare occasions, so that was nice.
Bob Barker was a great game show host, especially in the episodes where he made the guests wait to see if they won. Double Showcase winners are my favourite part of the show.🎉Rest In Peace Bob
These clips have been Dedicated To The Loving Memory of Bob Barker, who recently passed away, as of yesterday! We've lost the best, top and standardized game show giant, who gave away a lot of prizes/prices, despite not knowing anything about prices of prizes, in real-life, who was also an animal rights activist and hosted the Miss Universe Pageants and had a cruise name after him! May he #RIP! (1923 - 2023).
Thank you! So sorry you didn't get Ramona, but still, you did the best job you could to put it altogether! That's wonderful! And yes, Bob Barker and only Bob Barker was still the best host for TPIR!
I appreciate the improved upload. It's nice to see the extended reactions of the winners. I feel for those who put in great bids at just less than $1k away from the actual retail price & lost out to insanely greater bids. Any other day they'dve probably won at least their showcase.
Remember March 1980? A contestant bid $6,500 on his showcase, and the actual retail was just $1 off, and he ended up winning the other too. There's one you left out!
One thing I like about Drew that I did not like about Bob is that Drew recaps the prizes in the Showcase before reading the Actual Retail Price and Bob didn't do that.
Thanks for the reload but there was one that was not part of the DSW video. Back in ‘95, I remembered a male contestant that won both showcases and he won over $60000 including 2 cars.
I actually saw that episode at 27:09. As Bob said, he did start himself at 60k before whittling himself down to the bid he placed. He also interrupted Bob when he was explaining the showcase, finishing the final sentence for him.
It is nice to see people win on this show and the joy they feel, from my childhood to now, there will be never be a great game show on TV ,Thank you to always Bob Barker, Dian, Holly and Janice
I grew up hearing about how my grandmother won both showcases. I am 51, my late father would be 70, and everyone in the family told us stories about watching her win two trips, two cars, a house full of Ethan Allen furniture and much more. She sold the Caddie for the taxes and kept the Chrysler. I remember the car and the furniture (I own a pc of the Ethan Allen furniture). I want to find the episode but can't, but her name is Flo Larlham. They didn't start the double showcase winners till 74. Any info would be great. E
Congrats to your grandmother! Unfortunately that episode may be incredibly difficult to locate. If a fur coat was offered anywhere in that episode it likely will not be rerun at any point. Would you know approximately when it might have aired or what pricing games were played?
0:51 Are you kidding me? Best bids _ever_
Tough luck to lose *both* showcases... by a _dollar_
I'm crying through out this entire show I grew up on the Price is Right got to play hooky from school to watch, the best game show host ever @ We all miss you Bob Barker.
A piece of our childhood died this afternoon. RIP Bob
Hard to believe it was in 1998 when the double showcase winner increased to bids being $250 without going over. Nice compilation!
Watching this video makes my heart feel so good.
When I need to feel gratitude, I watch videos like this. Thank you!!
Double Showcase Wins are THE BEST moments of The Price Is Right and Bob Barker was THE BEST host! This video is a treat!

RIP Bob and thank you for the years and years of wonderful memories!
Love hearing the alarm when both showcases are won ❤

Bob Barker will be missed!!! Rest In Power Bob🕊️

One thing I always loved about this show, and Drew Carey said it too, that no matter what everyone is happy when the other person wins.
🙏 a legend, Bob Barker, we're going to miss you.
The double showcase horn is my favorite horn on the show. The sound of victory.
I really love when the other contestant is just as excited for them.
Bob was better than any doctor or nurse when one was home from school when sick.
Bob Barker was a great game show host, especially in the episodes where he made the guests wait to see if they won. Double Showcase winners are my favourite part of the show.🎉Rest In Peace Bob
36:34 $250 RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
Even at 79 bob was on top of his game with excitement..greatest ever. Crazy to see him age each year that passes in this video
The Vickyann bid is the ultimate bid in TPIR history, even more than the Perfect Bid.
i will never forget bob barker's amazing career on the price is right. he will truly be missed and blessed. rest in peace bob.
Thank you for sharing this! Nothing like a DSW win; especially from Bob Barker! 🤩🥳🥳
I definitely liked the change when they changed the win SFX from the regular dinging bells to the clanging bells. Made it seem more special IMO.
It’s a shame they didn’t introduce this rule from the start because I know in the first episode, the contestant was only $4 away on his showcase
R.I.P. to the legend, Bob Barker. Thanks for making this!
Robert William Barker
12/13/1923-8/26/2023
We’ll miss you, pal.
Wow, that DSW on-screen graphic was used for nearly 30 years! Incredible!
Its crazy to see the early ones knowing how often the showcases are usually around 25000 now
This was awesome! I needed something to put me in a good mood before I start my new job on Monday. Thanks for sharing this!
I love it when the other contestant realizes it first...
Fantastic upload! Some of these DSW i didn't even know happened. Thank you for putting this out! Great memories!
Very great upload, as always! I hope for some more magical moments both in the Barker and the Carey eras of The Price is Right!
This show meant a lot growing up, especially in summer when not in school. Thanks for posting all the big moments I never would have seen!
8:25 and 8:29 one of the most incredibly gracious and genuine reaction someone who lost has shown.
Bob Barker just passed away today (August 26, 2023) :(
19:37 is a day before Holly's last day 😢
Love to find Michael's double showcase show from November

This compilation is tremendous!
R.I.P. Bob Barker thanks for the memories
I've always wanted to be on the show but I always watched it at home especially during the summer and Christmas holidays
Thank you for posting this. I really enjoyed it.
Rip bob barker 1923-2023
If I was that lady that was $30 off and lost both showcases by $1, I'd be pretty pissed...
0:54 It was ominous when the first reveal was off by only 30 dollars.
Thank you! So sorry you didn't get Ramona, but still, you did the best job you could to put it altogether! That's wonderful! And yes, Bob Barker and only Bob Barker was still the best host for TPIR!
Ramona's DSW isn't available anywhere unfortunately.
The stance bob took before reading off the price kills me
RIP Legend
Epic D.S.W. based victories from the Barker era , missed but never forgotten, rest in peace Bob.

At 21:16, that contestant was so disappointed that he didn't win and didn't even bother to congratulate the other contestant that did win.
Remember March 1980? A contestant bid $6,500 on his showcase, and the actual retail was just $1 off, and he ended up winning the other too. There's one you left out!
Find me the footage of it and I'll put it in the next video
Interesting to track inflation over the years through this video. Back in the beginning, it was easier to guess to within $100!
If there was no info or footage for a DSW it wasn't included in this video.
Rest In Peace Bob
Thanks for the compilation. I’m sure it took quite awhile to edit this together!
I actually saw that episode at 27:09. As Bob said, he did start himself at 60k before whittling himself down to the bid he placed. He also interrupted Bob when he was explaining the showcase, finishing the final sentence for him.
Started watching tpir when I was 6. Me and my brother always immitated Bob. Rest in paradise
RIP Bob Barker 😭😭😭😭💐💐💐💐⚰⚰⚰⚰
I would love to see that 1977 DSW with the $20 difference and see some more unearthed!
Jay on 10/26/2001 was the most entertaining person to win both showcases.
5:26 - Looks like a scene from a horror movie
It is nice to see people win on this show and the joy they feel, from my childhood to now, there will be never be a great game show on TV ,Thank you to always Bob Barker, Dian, Holly and Janice
33:57 best expression ever!
I remember the one from 02/13/95 when I was in elementary school
I love how Kate at 31:25 came back to hug the other contestant.
More of the LAWD's work! I love these, too. I'm surprised no one has still found the win after Sabrina, where they won by $1.
24:27 man that’s got to sting being a few hundred off and STILL LOSING “ you ran into a buzzsaw!”
One $30 away, one $29 away in 1974…so harsh!
21:07 oh my gosh that young kid is sooooo pissed.
I'm so happy for these people 😃
I wonder what would happen if both contestants were both the same amount away and the bids were close enough for both showcases.
Be within $30 of the price and lose to someone that is $29 off.
42:00 the other woman thought she won... is dumbfounded.
Awesome video!
Winning is the best feeling ever, congrats to all of them 🎉
5:01 - 5:26 Bouncing Becky
RIP Bob Barker 😢
Wooop wooop woooooOOp!
Woop woop wooooooOOp!
lol that sound affect!

Lisa looks EXACTLY like 1992
Rip Bob
9:30 Bob was correct. Years of dying his hair turned it blue!
RIP
RIP Bob Barker
I'd be so amazed yet so bitter if I was that 3rd contestant.
I love how the other contestant was a great sport about it
1:26 what if they both were off by the same amount - would both have been a double winner?
21:05 the *thrill* of victory ...and the _agony_ of defeat
Timothy at 21:09- 21:14 be like “ight Imma head out.”
WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP CONGRATULATIONS 🎊
God what did that girl bid in 96 to be below by over 13000?
An Oldsmobile Aurora. Her Showcase was $37K+.
That double showcase horn was so old school.
I'm here because of the double showcase winner today :)
Terry, ouch
15:00 Love the use of the other bells.
