I’m so mad none of them mentioned or remembered that Aubrey Plaza played a version of the Shadow King in Legion!? Everyone loves throwing around multiverse fan theories involving the Fox Universe stuff, Im shocked not one mention?
Great trailer! The monster looks like one of the hunted heads we saw in Werewolf by night. Maybe a vampire/vampyr or a harpy. The other cast members shown in the trailer look interesting as well. Hope we see a cameo of Wanda at the end.
My first thought was also CW/Freeform vibes. It's not about the quality of the image and production, it's about the vibes and plot. The song choice for the trailer didn't help. Such a CW choice. My fav part of the trailer was the beginning mare of easttown bit but it was downhill from there. Oh and funny enough, CW's The Flash had a villain who did that exact creepy crawl only it was better done and even creepier.
@@r_r_r_r No, nog just that although of course it adds to it. Oh and no need for the judgy presumptious tone because I am a woman and happily spent years of my life watching these CW shows so it's not like I hate them. It's just that you expect something else from an MCU show, especially a Wandavision spinoff. Like I said, it's the choices they made in the trailer with how they presented it, the humor shown and the music. Maybe the show is entirely different, but the trailer invokes a Young Adult CW/Freeform/ABC Family style.
@@freeloadingmf Yes, sorry for not being more constructive. Comments on Marvel stuff are often misogynist, so I def assumed. Anyway, I guess we just have a different lenses (which is fine) because my eye went instead to the shot for shot references to Suspiria, Exorcist, and Hocus Pocus. And if I had to compare it to any TV show, it would definitely be the recent Sabrina reboot more than Charmed IMO. 🤷♀️
So over the knee jerk “CW vibes” whenever people see women + magic. 🙄 Thank you for gently shooshing that. Anyway, HYPE for this post-trailer! And was kinda meh before so 🙌🏻

Great discussion! Looking forward to the show

OG Superfriends had Marvin, Wendy and WonderDog not a monkey
I hope Disney gets it right in this series, Agatha deserves it 💜
I would love it if this connects through the Shadow King to the ‘Legion’ series, which was great, and which Aubrey Plaza was fantastic in.

Is it a CW choice simply because it features women + magic? 🙄

I didn't like the way Joe interprets Billy but I think he will do a great job
