@zyonik: What do you recommend for this team: sableye shadow iv(6-11-15) a purified sableye with return? a shadow sableye with return? a perfect IV sableye with power gem?
Love this answer to skarm safe swap. Did you play these matches this season? No venusaur 0-1 swampert (can't remember if ya saw one) no jellicent, crazy lol. Love the team though. Side note swampert/venu leads do really well against these basti teams, basically you have to drop a charge move on Sab with your lead then swap to protect switch advantage
This team is still hella relevant in 2022, I tried this team and I tried it with Nidoqueen on lead instead of Bastiodon (for those fairy types) and I can say it’s a pretty decent replacement but the air are way harder to take down so power gem on Sableye is your go to, but if it’s skarmory then throw foul plays
Your battles are so great you make this sableye look better then purified. Well back to powering up my 1252 cp purified sableye (around that cp) requires over 150 candies for 1500 cp. Should I just start using it at a certain amount of cp ? (Moveset shadow claw return and foul play)
Both sableye and medicham are weak against fairy, sableye in the back then swap can bait out stuff you don't want to see. If put bastiodon in the back, a fairy lead and fighter switch in will destroy this team
@@jasonyewyuenwai5792 There aren't that many Fairy leads right now in the G-L (as shown by his matches) and if you are worried by that scenario then it is the same outcome if the opponent's fairy was waiting in the back as a counter to a Sableye switch
Now I have pretty high ranks for both a return sableye and a shadow sableye. Granted, I can't power either up high enough, but I'm glad to see some strong play for them
@Zyonik I would love to use this team. Unfortunately I live in rural area so getting the candy/dust to get these pokemon up that high is pretty impossible for me. I’m running this team this season cause I’m trying to make legend and I’m not as good as most legend rank players so I kind of need to be carried a bit. So far wins haven’t been that free for me with this team. Guess it’s a sign of how poorly I play overall. I have no idea how to deal with Nidoqueen, especially when she’s in the lead, and I have no idea how to deal with Venusaur, and those two seem to be everywhere.
I've been playing with this team for a little while but I can't figure out what to do against Shadow Swampert, which is a very common pick. It basically wrecks this entire team single-handedly. You can do fast move damage, but Swampert gets to Hydro Cannons faster than Sableye and Medicham get to moves, and they can just burn your shields and still land a Hydro Cannon when I'm unshielded. Because Shadow Swampert is so common I don't see how this team can be viable. Any advice? Apologies if this is mentioned in the video, I have not had the time to watch all the way through.

plz suggest can i use haunter lead with nosepass and talon flame plz tell
Your team is pretty weak to (galarian) stunfisk so I would maybe exchange the nosepass into a fighter or water type pokemon
@@jayaar6374 ok so can i use toxicroak in place of nosepass
@@PUBGNOOBDA yes I think that sounds good :)
Who wants to sign for a petition "Make zyonik win leads"??
Not interested duh....I want lead loss but match wins match😂
He is already getting crazy wins
Literally just ran into this team in the very next match I battled. Beat it with Gfish lead, I swapped into peliper and shielded the power gem and then had vigoroth to close.
Hi Zyonik, with purified sableye, what is the second charge move besides return? Thanks!
Foul Play
Invested some big stardust into making this team. First time all season I've gone 5/5, even with a lot of blunders....
Hey zyonik I got a 15-15-14 sableye should I invest in it?
Literally today i finally get a decent Sableye and purified it, now is 15-15-11.
I don't have any built Sableye. Is it worth the investment? It maxed out at 1456 cp. It has 4 HP less than the Hundo (116 vs 120).
A lot of teams get bad because of the meta
Try another team next time or just try another method to counter
Sableye might be the best safe swap in the game. Been trying to power one up to a viable CP to use but them candies take forever to farm.
certainly the mewtwo of the great league. safe as houses. unless you decide not to shield it lol
best way to farm candies is to purposely lose matches, get your elo to 1K minimum and then crush all the noobs lmao thank me later
@@jedinight8000 That's not a bad idea...but I'm too prideful haha. I have try and win every match.
Is left side the iv's you got on These poke? Damn, the meta switches so fast, got perfect iv's for gl and my teams always get so hard countered
Not too different, but try toxicroak on the lead, bastiodon and sableye on the back. I’ve seen some pretty positive results
What do i mean by an xl one? I dont get it if u use xl candy won't they pass the lv requirements ? Then i won't be able to use them for that league i am new to battle league that is why im saying and asking at the same time
So I dont need perfects for pvps right? Just synergy between your mons
Super expensive team
But looks fun
I am currently enjoying oneshot cannon fire fire of talonflame against specially swampert azu whiscash which is so satisfying 😍
But I will try this team too now
i only have rank 6 xl medichamp, worth enough to build?
i just barely finished investing in my sableye now i need to go into medicham. zyonik do you recommend any lower investment pokemon to go with sableye?
You could throw Hypno in, it gets Ice Punch and a bunch of other good moves. Hitmonchan also gets Ice Punch.
I ran into this team a few times. Always beat it with a obstagoon lead and g Fisk and blastoise in the back. Figured a youtuber had made it popular
I have a rank 41 sableeye and 34 medicham, should i invest in them?
zyonik what you think about aggron? i lead with him and i just lost a 24 streak my team was aggron lapras and medichan and i ranked uo like 3 times
Aggron is a straight downgrade from Bastiodon. Less bulky, bad coverage moves and easily exploitable weaknesses.
@@villekuismin277 i see i could get a bastiodon i’ve just been saving candies so you recommend the switch?
@@squeed_1281 I'd suggest so, yes. They both have Smack Down and Stone Edge but Bastiodon has more relevant coverage and considerably more bulk. If you've been doing great with Aggron, then Bastiodon should only enhance your performance.
@@villekuismin277 yea i got a 63 win rate thanks for the advice
@@squeed_1281 No problem. Congrats for the win streak.
Awesome video, Thankyou for the knowledge, strong the force it is with you, Thankyou Zyonik, best TH-cam trainer, you are.
What can be a budget alternative for sableye?
I could just see your face. You felt guilty using such a strong team haha. Nice showcase though. A lot of those wins were due to skill and not just the comp.
What a great team ! Im using Shadow Swampert + Frosslas + Shadow Abomasnow i hope none of them gets banned because is working so good so far !!
so sableye is better with return or power gem? i am confused
I myself have a 14/15/15 return sableye..... Gonna try this team out...
If I run this team we all 100ivs will it still be effective or no?
