As far as Christine goes, the fact that Christine had to travel across the country with Ysabelle on her own for Ysabelle’s surgery says it all. I would have left him then. He doesn’t love his kids if he can pull stuff like that.
She said.. it did open her eyes. She realized she could make it without him!!! It pissed her off , as it would any good mom! I believe she saw some of him when Truely got sick, but she wasn't confident in herself, where with Isabel, she was forced 2 handle everything alone !!
Didn't she have to beg him to sign the hospital papers for the insurance.
He didn't understand how much pain his daughter was in. He wanted them to put the operation off for a while. Disgusting man.....

If Christine is so bad, Robyn and Kody should be glad she's gone. Instead, because she left of her own volition they are FURIOUS because she is in control. I would never have forgiven him for not being at my side for Truely's birth, his failure to be there for his daughter's surgery, and his refusal to be with Janelle and kids during the pandemic. So many times he failed everyone but Robyn and her kids, so he's not worth the air he breathes or the space he takes up.

Meri is a control freak, and Meri thought she was in control of everything - and she was .
Meri made a big decision to bring Robyn into the family - behind the backs of J and Ch - knowing full well that bringing in Robyn would crush Christine.
That was pretty controlling and manipulative.
But Meri overplayed her hand, and unsuspectingly got outplayed by Robyn.
Meri then lost all her power,
But her plan did work in hurting Christine - and Ch left. Meri never thought that would happen.
Meri lost control of everything - and actually wound up liberating both Ch and J from these toxic relationships and a cult.
That's a happy ending, as far as I'm concerned.

Meri's plan worked brilliantly in hurting Christine - so much so that Ch eventually left.
However Meri's plan also backfired on her, when Robyn outplayed an unsuspecting Meri.
Meri's history of cruel antics toward J, Ch, and their children - has ostracized her from them.
So her only connection is to side with the the people who have betrayed her the most.
If Meri hadn't been so cruel to J, Ch, and their kids, she could be basking in the joy of "bonus grandkids." But sadly, because Meri's history of cruel treatement of J, Ch, and their kids, they don't want to be with her.
Consequently, if Meri wants to have any kind of a relationship with anyone in the family, her only choices are to side with the two folks who have used and abused her. The irony here is quite rich. Karma.
Another way to put it - is that Meri didn't choose a side - rather her side was chosen for her - since J, Ch, and their kids - haven't included her in their new regrouping.
All the OG kids witnessed Meri's cruel treatment of their moms, and in this new iteration of the family, Meri is not included.
I'm so glad Christine is having fun! Must really irk Robyn.

I think Meri has been so desperate to get Kody back, that she tries her hardest to stay loyal to Robyn because she knows that's what means most to Kody. It's sad.
I think she genuinely really loves Sol & Ari too... She couldn't have more kids and I think she loves all the other kids, but she just seems closer with these 2. I think that's part of why she held on.
… Robyn’s fan base gets lower & lower talking smack about Christine & Janelle. Meri hasn’t been innocent either… So Hope Janelle gets her own show - a traveling 🧳 🎥 show. Totally see her traveling to beautiful places, here & abroad.
I believe Gwen even said she divorced Kody to make R happy because that was her in to get on good side of Kody. Had nothing to do with adopting the secret kids no one ever sees
Meri stays loyal to K and R, because she has no hope to be included with J, Ch, and their kids.
Meri burned her bridges with them with her cruel antics over the years. The older OG kids saw Meri treat their moms horribly. Meri even treated many of them horribly.
As a result of Meri's actions, she wasn't even invited to their holiday Air BnB. So it was only by default that Meri wound up with K and R. They didn't want her there either.
I'd feel sorry for Meri, if she hadn't brought this on herself. Her most sinister move was bringing Robyn into the family behind J's and Ch's backs, knowing full well that it would crush Christine.
Meri's misery is of her own making.
Desperation is not a good look.
They are so jealous of Christine they cannot hardly see straight. In the end, Christine is happy.

These are facts. Kody was always with Robyn. Remember the episode when Truley was ill and suffering with her kidney issues on Chrisine's couch and Kody was laid out on Robyn's bed taking a nap. Great Dad ugh
I remember when the original wives were complaining because even if he was with them, if rob called with a lightbulb out, she would call him. I remember them at some point telling her you need to figure some stuff out yourself, he will not always be there and he is not supposed to be on call for you -during - is time with them. She interrupted as much of she could if it wasn't her time....
Yes! I’m sure he told her to call when she needed him. Gave him an excuse to go back. But how stupid, he told the OG3 no when they needed him. Those two are not to o height.
Did they forget that Kody didn't make sure that truly was hydrated when she got sick and went into acute kidney failure, I mean sure she got some more days but Robyn got years. I am here for Christine and Jenelle

Possibly it was when Ysabel was diagnosed with scoliosis and had frequent physician visits and began painful exercises. I am still disgusted that Kody did not support Christine and Ysabel through that painful, serious surgery Ysabel underwent but Aurora’s ear piercing was a major highlight in his life that he will cherish always. 🤢 There are times when more time should be given to others going through trauma or difficult times.

Yes! And do you remember when Janelle said that Robyn was like a "damsel in distress" in Las Vegas? When Kody was supposed to be at another wife's house, Robyn would call Kody with some supposedly "big problem" that Kody just HAD to go to Robyn's place to fix.
I have loved these last few seasons, when Kody and the The-Kody-Whisperer (aka Robyn) have thought they were gaslighting the viewers, when in fact, their made-up versions of reality were so transparently pathetic.
For years, Kody hailed Robyn as the emotional empath of the family, when in fact, Robyn whispering in Kody's ear has resulted in the destruction of his relationships with J's and Ch's kids (save Mykelti.)

I think it’s hysterical that they [robyn and Kody and Meri] spend so much energy talking about Christine still. And she’s pretty much like I’ve moved on and I don’t waste any energy even thinking about them. It’s pathetic. It’s no different than Meri crying over Kody and chasing he and Robyn for years.

Meri’s behavior here is exactly why Christine ended the friendship. Christine said Meri constantly threw her under the bus and put her down to other family members. Even after they talked about it and she agreed she would stop. Everyone knows a Meri. They are usually a sad pathetic pick me that no one likes long term.
YES, YES, YES! I had a "Meri" in my life, who made my early life miserable. My "Meri" was also insidiously cruel, controlling, and vindictive in private - yet had a public persona that disguised her passive aggression that existed behind closed doors. It wasn't until I was able to move out as a young adult that I was finally able to escape the mental, emotional, and spiritual abu$e.
I saw that in Meri in the first season. Many folks say that Meri has changed, and no longer conducts the level and degree of passive aggressive antics that she did before Robyn came into the family - but that's only because Robyn outplayed Meri - and stripped Meri of her power. Robyn essentially neutered Meri. But Meri is still Meri - and Christine knows very well who Meri really is,.
Lots of folks say Meri's cruel acts were because of her fertility issues, but it should be noted that Meri was horribly cruel long before she knew she would experience fertility issues.
Or, folks say that Meri has really changed. Yes, she has - in some ways. But each season, there's evidence of Meri's cruel past seeping into the present. Last season, she truly sided with K and R in bashing Christine . And in this clip, we see Meri giddy with excitement in prompting Robyn to discredit Christine.
In their autobiography, Christine also noted that Meri would put her down in front of others - regularly. Not to mention the biggest betrayal of all - when Meri arranged to bring R into the family behind J's and Ch's backs - knowing full well that it would crush Christine.
Meri's underhanded, insidious history of passive aggression has exiled her from J, Ch, and their kids - who had a front row seat to Meri's cruel antics.
I do wish Meri well, but completely understand why Christine says she could never trust Meri.

HOWEVER - so was Christine, and Ch never treated anyone as horribly as Meri did.

I also hate that people give her a pass because she’s “infertile”. She’s not infertile. She has secondary infertility, which is not the same thing. Neither is an acceptable reason to behave the way she has. I have primary infertility and would never act that way. It’s unacceptable.

There's such an ironic twist here. Meri had been the master manipulator, in bringing Robyn into the family behind the backs of J and Ch - knowing full well it would crush Ch.
The irony is that in reality, it was actually Robyn that wound up manipulating Meri - and Meri never saw it coming. And Robyn has had the upper-hand ever since.

In the first season, Meri came across as such a strong woman. But when her nefarious plan backfired on her, she crumbled.
Meri missed an opportunity for growth at that point, to show humility toward those family members she'd harmed.

Yes I agree we are finally getting the truth. I always thought it was so weird that none of the other wives went to visit Truely when she was hospitalized nor did they help Christine. That was one of my first aha moments. And I think Meri is mad that Christine & Janelle had the courage to do what she couldn’t for years until she became the 3rd wheel and had no choice but to go.

Scripted! Every conversation with those two are scripted. Their mannerisms look awkward like they aren’t friends anymore and never see each other except when TLC is like we need to film you two talking about (whatever they have scripted for them) outside at their houses. They aren’t friends. They are the only people left for them to have conversations with.
Robyn used Meri. Meri thought they were friends and didn’t realize she was being used.

I’m sure that she could, and would, get along with Meri under certain circumstances, like Gwendolyn’s wedding a couple of months ago. They lived under the same roof for a very long time. I believe some of the children, if not most of them, do love Meri. But perhaps not, since she decided to cancel Christmas Eve 2021 at her place, which she held every year since their birth, I would think some of the children were hurt by that.

If all four wives complain that he’s not around, maybe he isn’t. Maybe he is sniffing around someone else’s pencil box. Maybe he was fooling around on them, like he fooled around with Robyn, before they married.
This season it’s very apparent that Kody and Robyn, in particular, are scheming and conspiring to try and mold the theme of the show to be slam Christine.
Meri just goes along with whatever Kody want to get accomplished, no matter how pathetic it makes her come off.

Mary and Robyn are miserable with their life talking about everyone else and being stuck in the past, pointing fingers, while Christina is off living a joyful life leaving all of the drama behind. Christina was very honest about her feelings while Cody dismissed her feelings. They only acceptable way in Cody's mind to work things out is to submit 100% to him. This isn't a partnership, it's not a two way street. Then it became Christina's fault because she didn't fall into the trap. She made a very healthy choice to leave this dysfunction behind.

This season has been so disgusting. It seems like it is the Kody redemption season. Producers are giving Kody a chance to justify his past behaviors. I wonder if Kody threatened them that he would pull out of the show if he didn't get this redemption, and feel sorry for Kody season. What Kody doesn't realize is that he can't fool the rest of us like he has fooled his wives in the past.

He knew that she was in love with him , and he had treated her so bad for so many years that she would never leave , and when she did he realized just how much he did care about her. This story that Kody spent 25/30 of his time with Christine is the same kind of story Kody and Robyn developed at the end of last season. At that time, they lied that Kody intended to return to romantic terms with Meri, but Christine's "hysterical reaction" prevented this. Kody and Robyn are now smearing Christine with a big brush.

I think the lag in filming and airing is responsible for helping Kody and Robyn be so out of touch. Several years ago, Christine became the real star of the show, and fans rallied around her almost unanimously. However, given the lag in filming and airing, Kody and Robyn had no clue about that huge wave of viewers' support of Christine.
That lag allowed Kody and Robyn to show their true colors, as they exposed their shifty and nefarious attempts at revisionist history. However, we viewers have good memories, and a ton of evidence on tape - to see through their pathetic and transparent attempts at gaslighting us.
