- Kody Brown drops some big bombshells about his marriage. On part one of the 'Sister Wives’ one-on-one special, the Brown family patriarch claims that he was never in love before he met and married Robyn in 2010. Prior to their marriage, Kody had three other wives, Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown, but now, he admits to never being 'in love' with any of them. Part one of the one-on-one special of 'Sister Wives' aired Sunday on TLC. Part two will air next week.

He's lying to protect his own ego. His plans for the future didn't work out, so now he has to find a way to hurt everyone else and make himself the victim. He loved those women once. Maybe not as strong, but to say that he never did is just him being cruel for the sake of being cruel.

Just watched part 5 of the reunion and the way Kody looked at Robin and said” I’ve been mean to be around”…just wait,he’s going to run her off as well. For the life of me,idk what any of them saw in him!🤮

Finally he is being honest that he is the problem 🤷🏽♀️. The whole time Robin was blaming the other wives for everything and finally the truth is out. He only wanted Robin and the other wives were just there to pay the bills. So he wanted to build one big house knowing that he only love Robin?? He is so evil. Meri is not all that pretty and far too independent for him, putting up with his behavior but seeing all the time what he is doing, Janelle is grossly overweight (sorry), but she has a great, bubbly personality, down to earth, good sense of humor, strong character and would accept him if he were just a tiny bit nicer to her, but that is more than he is willing to do, Christine would also have put up with his nasty streaks, but fortunately she knew when to draw the line when he told her he had never loved her, how low can you go..... I would call that kicking a woman in the stomach..... Fortunately she has developed into a goodlooking, funloving, independent woman who told this jerk that the time for his insulting behavior was over..... I think he could have kept all these women if he had wanted to, but finally discovered that a nice, warm, loving one to one relationship is really the best deal in life, especially as you get older ! When the fun of sleeping with 4 different women every week has worn off a bit and things may get more demanding and difficult.... while the women wake up to their situation and become more independent all the time..... oooh what a struggle for the man who is getting older..... ! I believe he did love meri until she thought she found someone else that turned out to be a catfish. It was really sad after that he hated her, didn't want nothing to do with her. Kody is a narcissist. It was obvious even in the first season of Sister Wives. I'm glad that all the other ladies are finally free to enjoy their lives and find what makes them happy. They deserve it.

My friends, do not believe Kody, narcissists can’t stand to loose! The new revelation that he ‘only loves Robyn’ is hogwash, why? because he rather destroy the other women and their children than take accountability for his failures. Kody refuses to accept his role in destroying the other relationships; he was a horrible spouse, and instead of admitting defeat, he’s minimizing his relationship with Christine, Janelle and Meri. The viewers are getting a lesson in what happens when you reject a narcissist and give them a platform to hurt you. Here’s why K&R gets along so well…they’re just alike, meaning they’re greedy, manipulative, selfish, and great at playing the victim. My opinion, when Christine left, he realized how much he cared and he’s still grieving the loss. Yes, the money 💰 is a loss, and his ego has taken a beating. Robyn played this family from the beginning, she’s the master puppeteer and I look forward to her and Kody, having to sell all the stuff they brought from stealing from the other women. Life lesson is that you can quietly scam people, but the higher power is watching and you must ‘reap the seeds..you sowed.’ I’m proud of Christine and Janelle, because they’ve carried themselves with dignity.👍

My hot take: he did loved them (taking from how he acted in the very first episode talking about them) but when he met Robyn and saw how she is willing to follow him around, be extremely submissive, rely on him (in comparison to the other wives who were independent), that boosted his ego to damaging levels and that ego made him a shitty person to be around. It affected his relationships with his wives and his children because when he has one person who treats him like a god, he now expects everyone to do the same. When they didn’t and leave him, his ego is hurt and the only tool he has left is to try to destroy their reputations (fortunately, that isn’t working).

While Kody Brown is completely responsible for the troubles within his family, he is a pawn. Meri knew that he wasn't in love with her, so she bought into his desire to gain a solid place in their church and community in an attempt to win his affection. This backfired in a huge way when Janelle and then Christine proved to be exemplary sister wives, working together to raise the children (while Meri didn't) and make a communal home (which Meri didn't). I suspect that Meri resented their commitment to Kody, the family and the faith, moreso because it did nothing to bond Kody more closely to her and it kind of made her look bad. If you'll remember, Meri always brokered the new wife situation. Christine was brought in to run the home because Janelle provided, financially. Meri wasn't about to become the sole housefrau! That resentment grew to the point that it not only affected the children (which explains the way many of them feel about her), but Kody's relationships with the other wives. It's never been explained why Janelle really left him a couple of times and I suspect it was because of the tension in the home. Meri's revenge against Janelle and Christine (for being compliant to the faith and to Kody) was finding and dangling a young woman before him that she knew he would lust after. Remember, it was gleefully their, "little secret" for some time before the other wives found out. Total fail for Meri and she soon knew it. That's the reason for her going online and the ultimate catfishing. And before I forget, that stunt with divorcing Kody so that he could marry Robyn was just her last, "knife in the kidney" to Janelle and Christine. They had to witness a monogamous relationship form that they would never have. Her retreat has been in the making for a long time, hence the B&B. So in closing, don't be fooled. Meri was the puppet master. Robyn jumped at the chance of being famous and having money while Kody is just some narcissistic fool who sacrificed his family for....well. I think we all know.
