I’ve already commented on your other updated review about this watch, but I just wanted to add that what I appreciate the most about the W800H is its comfort and the way it sits on my wrist. A while back I purchased a Tissot Gentleman automatic just based on looks. But what a nightmare of a thing to wear: big and clunky, it wiggles on my wrist, heavy ,the crown button gets caught with my jackets every time you put it on, let alone the issues of accuracy associated with any automatic watch. That experience made me to look at the old good Casios of my childhood. I have 3 now and this W800H has become my daily wear. Thank you and keep up with the great content dear Sir.
I wear this watch everyday to my labor intensive job. It replaced my square G-Shock that I felt was too big and bulky on my wrist (same size as yours). This wears much better, is extremely durable and has 100m water resistance. Also it’s much easier to read!
I have been wearing Casio watches for around 40 years now. I can attest that they are excellent durable watches and hold up very well and look nice. My first Casio was the H model and I liked it a lot and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I recently bought a Casio G Shock GA 2100 1AER (which is the black one with the light grey hour markers), which is a great watch. Its really tough and robust, but also looks quite nice. Ofc it has this sturdy and rigid look to it, so its a really casual watch. But I really like it because its not fully digital, but its analog-digital, so it still has two hands that tell the time, which I preferr, and a really small window with the time digitally, in case you need to tell the time exactly down to the second. Its quite a big watch, 45mm, but it doesnt feel like its that big. The price is also pretty good at 100€.

You are correct about that, I'm sure these straps would easily fit a gorilla. I have thought about trimming it down with a blade, as it's only a cheap resin anyway - but not been brave enough as yet.
@@TheChapsGuide The strap is too large for me too but when you consider these watches are made for MILLIONS of different people, the strap has to cover as many wrist sizes as possible. I trimmed mine. Felt weird to do but I followed the same contour as the original end. It fits perfectly and has eliminated the only issue I had with the watch. I love mine dearly. It has everything you could want in a watch except the braggadocio.

Saw one for 10$ on amazon when I was looking to replace the belt on a w-59... The belt was 14$... Needles to say I DIDNT BUY IT, i saw a G-shock for 50$, bought that instead :))
For me, this is the watch that open the gate into casio rabbit hole. Bought this new, mods it, negative display, countdown timer. Put on nato strap, back to resin strap, then gave it to my niece. Only complain is too thick and resin band is too long.
Is very a low cost Casio almost the same as this but with a mineral glass crystal? I'm sure I remember one from a few years ago but can't find it anywhere.
What a fantastic review you explained the watch and it’s features really well and l enjoyed your unpretensous enthusiasm l already own this watch in various different coloured cases there’s one with gold border and a rose gold tinted screen it makes a basic digital watch look really beautiful thanks for. showing a great Casio to people who other wise may never have seen one. !!! --Robyn Griffin Sydney Australia
I just received this watch today (16/2/2022). I paid USD18.88 or GBP13.89. The backlight is better than I expected and is something I will use often. For the price, I can't imagine there would be a better digital watch.
I like it as a tactical watch, but its a touch on the ugly and big side for daily use in my ordinary life. G Shocks are the boss when it comes to watches that deliver - unfortunately they simply look a little too 'functional' for my tastes.
An excellent watch in all respects except one - the strap - which will perish with annoying regularity, despite this review. A new one will cost you as much as a new watch, but if you trawl through eBay you will find an alternative a lot cheaper.
I was buying this one on aliexpress yesterday for about 46 dollars. I probably should get me the fake Casios. Sanda and Smael or what their name is. In some cases they have better light and are half the price, but look the same.
W800H is so misunderstood, it is NOT a retro-fashion watche , it is a professional diving device with a retro-fashion look. The compactest 100 meter water proofing CASIO at lowest price range! His pan axis (right/left) readability is as good as A700's tilt axis(up/ down) readability, we look at watche from another direction while swimming. thit is why W800H's tilt axis viewing angle is not good. W800H is made for INTENSIVELY WATER RELATED PERSONNEL, NOT for someone who want a solid retro-fashion watche (like me). Personally, I love its humble masculin look and compact size, prefect for my thin wrist. that is why I want to pay more for a W800H with a better tilt axis readability.
> it is a professional diving device not realy, that would be a diving computer. 100m is not exactly on par with other divers. This is meant as a perfect beater/dad watch, not really for professional applications.
Yeah It is really Great watch ..10 Years battery life .... But the Strap will Cut for less than one year and getting a new one will cost same as the whole New watch

Couldn't agree more!
15:30 Rolex are about statement and prestige..does it tell the time as well?
For me, this is the watch that open the gate into casio rabbit hole. Bought this new, mods it, negative display, countdown timer. Put on nato strap, back to resin strap, then gave it to my niece. Only complain is too thick and resin band is too long.
Is very a low cost Casio almost the same as this but with a mineral glass crystal? I'm sure I remember one from a few years ago but can't find it anywhere.
Just bought this one. Can’t wait!
Hope you enjoy it!
Love this watch, for the money it's a no brainer!! Thanks for your review my friend Dr Paul UK.
My pleasure!
Great review and my go to watch for exercise/hiking daily. The omega gets no daylight time LOL
They are as tough as old boots.
I just received this watch today (16/2/2022). I paid USD18.88 or GBP13.89. The backlight is better than I expected and is something I will use often. For the price, I can't imagine there would be a better digital watch.
Sometimes you can find it in Walmart for cheap as $5
Now that is a bargain!
Beautiful review,I'm a big Casio fan,I have many other more expensive watches but I'm an 80s kid😂 great review.
Thanks for watching!
Love me some retro.
Ima gettin 1!
high school students in the 80s favorite brand.
Probably still is!
Appreciate the history lesson and nice review!
excellent delivery on the review.
Thank you kindly!
Somebody know if there is today any Casio like this one but that have countdown?
it could be "the most capable" with more ALARM modes and TIMER countdown like CASIO F201wa
Thanks for another great video!
Hello Ash, what did you make of the Casio G-Shock collaboration with the RAF?
I like it as a tactical watch, but its a touch on the ugly and big side for daily use in my ordinary life. G Shocks are the boss when it comes to watches that deliver - unfortunately they simply look a little too 'functional' for my tastes.
@@TheChapsGuide Yep it's the sort of thing that a military contractor or adventure training leader would wear.
Is led on time adjustable?
No sir, it is not.
Thanks :) Waiting on mine now :)
Thanks for review.
How to set alarm
The alarm is not louder than f91w
An excellent watch in all respects except one - the strap - which will perish with annoying regularity, despite this review.
A new one will cost you as much as a new watch, but if you trawl through eBay you will find an alternative a lot cheaper.
My 12/24 hour button doesnt work. And its recently bought. Any idea why?
Defect?
I was buying this one on aliexpress yesterday for about 46 dollars. I probably should get me the fake Casios. Sanda and Smael or what their name is. In some cases they have better light and are half the price, but look the same.
I would love to find a watch like this that comes as a standard UK format day/month/year rather than having to read it backwards.
hello , thanks for the review.. i think it is good for the mOney but far from being "most capable".
U sir deserve more attention
Thank you sir
Casio for life! :)
Personally, I love its humble masculin look and compact size, prefect for my thin wrist. that is why I want to pay more for a W800H with a better tilt axis readability.
> it is a professional diving device
not realy, that would be a diving computer. 100m is not exactly on par with other divers. This is meant as a perfect beater/dad watch, not really for professional applications.
is the button stainless?
Yes
great video!
Do we still get 3239? Has 3240 got its upgrade?
Sorry but that question is beyond my technical knowledge.
I got this watch and paid $24.95 usd. I wear it more then other watches i have that cost $300 $400 and $850
Gracias por tu vídeo 👍🇨🇴🕓🇪🇸👍
thanks!
Yeah It is really Great watch ..10 Years battery life .... But the Strap will Cut for less than one year and getting a new one will cost same as the whole New watch
I have this watch it is so good
It's a very wearable watch, great review!
Thanks for watching!
Hi, I’ve already owe the Casio 168WA. I’m planning to get one for Christmas but I’m
Confused to choose between the F91W VS AE1200WH?
This watch is actually out of stock here on amazon India lol
£24.36p on amazon right now July 2022 with 6% reduction a 50% rise ????
shame there's no countdown timer
F91 ve w800 casionun en güzel iki saatidir...
Casio watches are addictive buyer beware :)))
Sorta random, but wow, I never realized how small the Rolex Submariner is
Obviously, I'm in one world as opposed to the other
