If you're talking strategically, Diddy's your man. Can't go wrong with having Giant Bananas at your disposal while being a lightweight. Koopa and/or Paratroopa are great too because they're the only ones that can carry triple green/red shells. Put Koopa in the back when you need to catch up, which triple reds can certainly help with, and put Diddy in the back when you're in first so you can widen the gap between you and the other racers with giant bananas. I would pick Yoshi/Birdo but their eggs are unreliable and they're middleweights. Love Petey and King Boo but they're heavyweights. I chose Diddy and Jr for a bit but Bowser Shells, as OP as they are, are situational. Amazing for Baby Park but I'd hardly use it for any other course except maybe Wario Colosseum. Wario and Waluigi's Bobombs are great but Wario and Waluigi are, respectively, heavy and middle weights. Toad and Toadette's Golden Mushroom is great at what it does but if you're in the Top 3 all the time you won't see it. So ya my favorite team is Diddy and Koopa! Sorry I went on for so long. You mentioned Diddy and I wanted to give my thoughts lol
Mario Kart Double Dash... so much fucking nostalgia on this game. I wish I can play it again, but my Wii can't read the discs I insert anymore. Has that happened to you by any chance?
I don't understand why the game designers program the heavyweight drivers to always be in the lead most of the time. Yes I know they have top speed and can push lighter drivers out of the way but its kinda annoying to face them all of the time...
+TomboyGamerGal I just noticed something that I don't like about this code. This code doesn't make the items 100% random. Sure every character is going to get every item but you're going to be receiving the same items in the same order on every stage. In the video you'll see that the blue shell and the Chain Chomp keeps appearing in the beginning of the first lap. I wonder who ever made this code didn't realize this problem. It can be annoying when the first item is the lighting and you will keep being small in the beginning. My Wii doesn't read disc either. I tried to open it to replace the lens but the stupid screws doesn't want to come out. I actually tried to melt the screw with a soldering iron and now the Wii looks weird in one spot.
+LuisParson So it also happened to you too huh? Its been happening to some people who owns a Wii. I really can't think of the word but I think its outdated whatevers happening inside the system. A similar thing also happened to owners who owned Xbox 360 when the Xbox 360 was all new back in 2005. Same with the older PS3s.

You need the action replay for the Gamecube which is now a rare and a expensive item. I don't remember if the Gamecube action replay for the Wii comes with this code.
