Great Video BW! I think your perfect where the rocker is now, that'll give your door the gap from the fender. Your really making a nice Nova! Happy New Year
It's coming along I can feel your pain my 55 is the same struggle. That rocker might need to be a bit forward of the door so the fender buts up to it and there's your door gap. You could always slice the rocker and knock it back later if it's too far to adjust the gap.
I see that you mentioned the door line is a lot lower than the quarter panel line. The actual quarter panel line is pressed too high. I had a quarter panel. A lower section to replace and when I received it and matched it to my driver door line. It was way higher so I had to cut the line and move it down to match the door line.
I've seen cars that were parked half on & half off on concrete and dirt. The part of the car parked over the dirt was rotted completely away. The part that was over the concrete, barely had any surface rust. The concert lets the moisture dry away and doesn't damage the the sheet metal as much as dirt/grass/rocks, etc... does.
Hi, great video and project! Congratulations! I have a question: I own a Chevrolet Nova, I’m from Argentina, and I want to buy the rocker panels, but I see that they come separated as exterior and interior pieces. The one you installed is a single piece, right? It also comes with the parts to install the rocker panel trim. Where can I find these? Again, congratulations and thank you!
Awesome video BRYAN. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT

I am just chipping at it Paul, I'm working a ton of OT right now, should be further along, but we'll get there.

You're getting there man, just keep at it and you'll be thrilled when you are finished. How is the Opti primer looking after about a year on the hood?
Primer held up great, a little dirty from being outside for a year. But worked great to protect metal.
Thanks!@@bwsgarage

There is an inner rocker structure. Separates the rocker from the floor. It's pretty thick metal and it's got galvanizing on it.
AMD makes the rockers and I purchased them off Summitt.
