May have to pass on the new ones, but definitely love to vintage ones. My wife and I just stumbled upon the Remco 1970s McDonald’s dolls and we’re trying to collect them all they’re so awesome.
Oh my gosh, I just looked up those Remco dolls and they're SO cool! There's even a playset, WOW!! I've literally never seen those before, but I'll definitely be on the lookout for them at estate sales now.
As a 90's kid. I grew up with a used blonde kid sister doll I bought myself & loved her back then. Took her with me to daycare, grandma's, & my aunts & uncles house when visiting cousins. I now have a brunette my buddy doll who I love dearly & sleeps next to me on my bed. He's so cute. ❤ I loved Chuck E Cheese as well had the majority of my birthdays in the 90's there as well as going there in the summer to show my good grades. I loved the animatronic's on the stage & were mesmerized by them & how they moved on the stage~ 🥰✌️ Talking doll's are awesome~ 🤷♀️ If you don't want to be creeped out then don't come to my house~ 🤣 I have talking doll's from the 80, 90's, & 2000 era to present. My pet cockatiel loves talking back to my doll's. I had an original furby during the late 90's furby craze he was giraffe color furby & stuck in baby mode lol. Clown's are creepy.... Good memories~ 🥰💖
Thanks for the warning, LOL!! Just kidding, I'm okay with talking dolls as long as they don't start talking on their own... then they're definitely scary, ha ha! We enjoyed hearing about your collection and your memories. Thanks for sharing!
Things that freaked me out as a kid in the 80's: Intro's/ warnings/creepy logos with strange music on old video tapes, Rinse N Vac carpet cleaner machine (it was loud and made creepy sounds), old PSA announcements This is a test NAH NAH NAH !!!), Lady Elaine Fairchilde on Mr. Rogers, that walking/non speaking toilet paper faced thing on 3-21 contact.
Those are great ones!! I remember liking 3-2-1 Contact, but I had totally forgotten about those weird creatures (weren't they just like people dressed in black unitard?) LOL!! What in the world?!? That's nightmare fuel for sure! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your memories!
@@Our80sLife Yes they were dressed in a black unitard and would jump out at random. The cast would ask it questions and it would answer by rolling paper off it's spools.....LOL
I remember being a little kid in the 80's and I'd be watching TV (usually in the evening) and all of a sudden....A commercial for a horror movie....AHHH!!!! Almost like a 1980s jump scare....Full screen. Lol. Totally ruined the night for me. 😅
Hi guys!! What a mean guy to take that Peewee Herman doll!! Especially when he asked you!! 😱 Oh and yes, the static on the tv totally used to freak me out and then recently I put Carson’s white noise machine on that setting and was like “nope” and changed it real quick! 😂
I was totally freaked out whenever Bill Bixby would turn into the Incredible Hulk. Also, Creepy talking dolls....Cricket. she had a cassette player in her back. It was my cousin's doll. I would always take it and put a heavy metal cassette in it. Lol.
Right?! Oh my gosh, we saw one of those exact clowns for sale at an antique store in Tulsa recently. Keith wanted to buy it, and I was like NO WAY is that thing coming into my house, LOL!!
@@Our80sLife oh gosh! I’ve got a friend from overseas that professionally makes them and recently made one for actor Oliver Robbins (Robbie in the film) and they’re exact replicas. Takes him a while to make them but they’re the EXACT replica he made from the original. I was gonna buy one but they’re $500!
OH LORD😂😂😂😂😂!!! You even had a couple of my favorites that you thought were creepy😂😂😂😂!!! I use to love Mac Tonight when I was little. I think I took a picture with him when he visited McDonald's in the old neighborhood I use to live in. I still have a couple of the original Happy Meal Toys in my room somewhere.
My kids loved Goosebumps books and the TV show. I think they were creepy. Furbies were creepy when they talked to each other. My nieces had them. When I was a little girl in the 60's I was given a walking doll. It was super creepy! I made my Aunt take it back to the shops 😂
Omg, you've never seen Monkey Shines, you really need to see it. I thought the same thing, it looks ridiculous and didn't watch it for year's. I saw it for the first time two years ago and it was a great movie. You guys should really give it a go!❤
We rewinded Keith’s Chuck E. cheese three times because it was soooo funny hahaha Abby: our guess is you did NOT watch the 80s horror movies from your poster yet….
LOL!! You are correct, but we did watch Halloween 1 and 2 last week. Keith got disgruntled because he realized afterwards they weren't on the list, so he didn't get "credit" for watching them, ha!
Went to an amusement park, Silverwood, that transforms in October to Scarywood (full of haunted house scare-zones and mazes - and there's a huge section dedicated to clowns! 🤡 It's called ClownTown and there's a "haunted house" maze called Chuckles the Clown 3D sideshow. Whoa!
Is that the ventriloquist dummy from Sears that you’re talking about,he had the name Simon says on it! I owned one,so I didn’t mind, but my friends hated him. I felt bad that they hated him😅
Love you Abby but Grandma head is SUPER CREEPY!! 😮 I think the display case makes it worse, lol. 😈 👻 I had a Furby and when I was asleep, I heard it say "ssshhh she will hear you" I KID YOU NOT! I threw it away. Lastly, I don't think Mr.Slim Goodbody is creepy, he's nostalgic. He came to my elementary school back in the day. Northwood Hills Elementary in Richardson. Love you guys! Happy Fall. 🎃🍂 🍁
This is a really silly question... I watched Friday The 13th for the first time yesterday...did Jason Voorhees drown or does Pamela just think he drowned?
That's definitely not a silly question... this is an ongoing debate among fans of the films. You can try googling it, but prepare to go down a deep rabbit hole on the internet, lol!
@@Our80sLife I looked it up and read some things that I wasn't sure was a joke or some type of nonsensical fan theories. I understand why the film franchise is so popular, I have been thinking about the film for two days now.
Ok I got a few, some not creepy to me but popular creepy to some. Not the pewee Sherman doll, but that red headed flat top marionette kid, with the freckles!!! Next, technically 1970s but it spilled into early 80s,from Sesame Street, that super creepy face, floating in a black background, his yes and mouth were like rubber bands, and the sound effects were downright jarring. Yeah! If you could see a photo of it,you would be like”oh ok,yeah that thing is totally capable of manifesting maggots.” It’s that creepy,I sent Abby and Keith a photo, they may confirm the creepiness🤣

EEK!!!
I actually had Crickets brother Corky and he has the red hair like chucky
Grandma head is creepy and crafty all in one
Ha ha, yes!! The perfect combination... maybe I should've used her for a Halloween decoration instead of Christmas!

Ha ha, thanks for watching! 😊
A antique wheelchair in the living room sounds kind of creepy!
Right?!
Fun Fact, people that stay up late into the wee hours are a higher percentage on the intelligent side. (By the way, it is after 3:30 am right now. 😉)
Good to know because we’re both total night owls, ha! 🥱
What about the Simon says doll? That doll freaked me out, but i don't remember when it came out. Maybe the 80s but it could of been the 60s.

Haha! I thought Abby was going to have that one her list. I have a picture of that room from when I had my knee injury. I’ve got to find it!!
Sorry Grandma head creepy kind of like lady Fairchild from Mister Rogers lol love the video content !!
