The treadusay should be behind or in the wood not in the frontlines. Fire arrows and oil should be on the walls ready to be used. We seen it in the siege of castily rock. This is the only sensible course of action. So they should send Arya. Not doing so is a plot hole. From a story perspective, it would suck for Arya to be successful. So she ought to die in an attempt to kill Cersei. This prevents a plot hole and is vintage Game of Thrones.
And she will. Because she closed brown eyes(Walder Frey), blue eyes(Night King) and she have to shut GREEN eyes(Who the fuck is with the green eyes? Cercei. So unpredictable...)
You idiots didn't catch the key phrase. "Everything you did brought you where you are now, home" Bran is insinuating that everything in the show, from the Mad King going insane thus sending Danny into hiding where she could build a foreign Army to come defend Westeros, to Theon going through his crazy arc to end up defending Bran in that moment. He's pointing to the Butterfly effect. Arya may very well have been the ONLY person, at that exact moment, at that exact place, to kill the NK. It's the same place she sneaks up on Jon in S8E1, and also the same place Bran gave her the Dagger. Not a coincidence he gave it to her there, plus we still have no idea who's dagger that is. It very well may have been placed in the story line by the 3 eyed Raven hundreds of years ago to eventually be the kill weapon by the Prince\Princess who was promised.
This episode reveals the night king's identity and motivation pretty well though. The identity of the night king is just that he's the night king, he isn't anyone else, he's just the night king. The night king is attacking westeros because he is evil (and very bad), on the other hand Jon Snow is good because he is good and has a cool sword. Such a deep show.
@@Zoozio I actually never questioned his identity, but I wanted to know why he stayed so far North for 1000 plus years and then finally decided to come back South to kill now. I can't imagine why he couldn't have built up his army pretty easily at any point with dead wildlings. I also wanted to know why Bran was so important to him. I know its bc Bran is 3ER, but how are they connected? Why was Bran such a threat? Bran was just a pawn now? So Jojen, Hodor, children of forest all had to die & the magic of the tree ruined bc Bran was marked, but we don't get to know how it ties together?

Its like a really good blow job where the girl takes her time, takes it slow. And then all of sudden stops cold turkey right before the euphoric nutting! That is what the WW storyline amounted to this past episode! Now its just Cersei and she is a bit played out now and with less character depth

James Love imo you are partially correct because the original "Dance of the Dragons" it was considered a fight between the riders however Im assuming you meant there was no physical combat between Jon and the Night King
It took white walkers less than a minute to kill the whole Dothraki hoard but the same WW couldn't kill Sam tarly in the entire battle while he was doing nothing but standing there and crying... horrible writing beyond belief...SMH

(Example: She smacks her head into a wall and still manages to Kill the Night King (Final Boss) with half of the power drained.) *Jon* has a unique weapon, Longclaw. For every wight killed. Five wights will automatically disappear from existence. (Example: The Night King resurrects all the dead around Jon, Next scene the horde is reduced to half) *Jorah* died protecting Dany because of his Armor, Weapon, Healing drained to zero. He couldn't use them for another hour. *Beric* ran out of Barricade spell scrolls. The *Hound* needed Grasp of Terror spell (It increases the target's confidence and willingness to attack horrifying enemies, *Bonus effect:* Protect One person from any situation) Lucky, Beric summoned the Grasp of Terror on the Hound. *Sansa and Tyrion* cast a sneak spell borrowed from Arya. *Varys* used his Teleportation spell with other random people. *Missandei* missed most of the battle due to poor Internet connectivity. *Yohn Royce* didn't join the Event. *Lyanna Mormont* cast her Psychic Scream (a psychic scream is when the enemy Gaint grabs you and slowly squeezes you to death during the same time scrutinizes you with one eye. *Ghost* needed Enhanced Visibility spell (It allows one to become visible for 10 seconds. @@NEUR0MANCER_ yes, I saw that their next project was continuing to mar the long dead starwars franchise. Next thing we know, Disney will buy game of thrones, and turn it into a musical, simply because they have to have a monopoly on princess.
Arya will kill Cersei and her fleets by herself. And she'll be pregnant with gendry child who will be the true heir to the throne. Who told you it was a story about jon? it's all about arya. The built up for night king all wasted in a matter of seconds.
But he is Jon now... Episode 3 was his chance to be aegon. The reason rhaegar had a child with lyanna was the prophecy. Azor ahai was to be of that specific Targaryen bloodline. He's not azor ahai so now he might as well just be Jon. He doesn't care about the throne, but I guess now we know he will reluctantly take power because if they don't use him for that then there was zero reason for the biggest twist in the story (his parents)
I was hoping for a three way battle where main characters were killed off at Winter Fell Then who ever was left had to retreat to kings Landing with the Knight King following .and it ends with everyone trying to kill everyone Cersei fighting Jon , And the white walkers , Jon fighting The white walkers and Cersei and the Knight king killing everyone Those are real stakes . Who ever wins controls everything with all your enemies dead or lose and your entire army and allies are dead. Everyone dies except one or 2 main characters. An epic battle that would have really cost everything to win . That is what game of thrones is about . “You win or you die “
I tried to warn people that this would happen after S4. Because that was bad enough. Since then I have not trusted D&D to not ruin all the characters and the story itself. At least my prophecy was fulfilled by this travesty of a final season. And it's nice that at least one prophecy was paid off by Game of Thrones. Silver linings!
@Krysty Cavallo what the actors and actresses and others did for this show is phenomenal. We are just upset with the poor writing, not the people that portrayed it on television
@Krysty Cavallo It only took 55 night coz of the dogshit script. They could've done a much better job in those 55 nights. I respect them for doing it even tho the battle was full of stupidity.
Krysty Cavallo We are not blaming the actors or all the hard work from production crew. We are talking about the obvious shitty lazy writing. This isn’t rocket science, kids.
@Krysty Cavallo The ONLY thing people who are disappointed with S8 are complaining about is : absence of realism (not yelling at you, caps are to emphasize). In any other show or movie, fine. But Game of Thrones IS about realism (realistic within the rules set in the world of Westeros, not our Earth). That's a/the major reason why the show is (was) so popular. When Ned Stark's head was chopped off or when the red wedding happened - nobody wanted that to happen but nobody blamed the writers because it was Realistic. It made sense how things got to that point for the characters. So when you remove realism from a show that is all about realism, especially on the FINAL season, well, you get 1'600'000 signatures.

tosh40638 I love when people can’t defend so their point so they play the deflection game. If you like crap great for you, also Sauron was the main threat everyone knew that, also way to comparing a movie (which had to dedicate 3 to stopping him) to a tv show.
@@tosh40638 Sauron (his physical manifestation) was already dead when the LOTR movies started. The whole plot is based on stopping his return. So what on earth are you talking about? LOL, 2 episodes of re-introducing characters and stalling, 1 episode with the whitewalkers, and 3 episodes of drama/filler for cersai, great. Also, any deaths will seem comical considering all the characters survived 5+ death scenes with hundreds of undead. Plus, the 5-7 myths/legends/build-up that went down the drain (Azora/children of the forest/the others/the long night/3-eyed raven/melisandre/lord of the light all mean absolutely nothing). On top of the fact the freys killed more main characters in 5 minutes than the night king did in 8 seasons. Both theon and ramsey capture winterfell on seperate occasions, but not the night king and literally millions of undead. The undead can hear ayra's blood drops, but apparently she can ninja run to negate even the elder white walkers from SEEING or HEARING her LOL. (And these guys are the equivalent to dragons, Tolkien's elves or vulcan in star trek). And the fact the actress uses an actual trampoline to film her scene proves just how fucking stupid and illogical the whole idea was implemented. And, Jon loses his story line, meanwhile arya cant kill cersai (someone on her list and a part of her story arc) without her being the overpowered character who kills both the main villians (if the night king can still be considered a main villian). Kit Harrington just got Mark Hamill'd and he even almost curses when he explains his shock that he doesnt even fight the night king.
Adil it wasn’t the lowest rated. Season 5 episode 6 has a 54% on Rotten Tomatoes. This one got a 73%. It is definitely the lowest rated battle episode though.
They couldn’t kill Sam as well, I don’t have a clue how he survived. There was a scene while the battle was raging where he was lying on the ground surrounded by dead bodies, maybe the wights thought he was dead already, that’s the only reason I can think of to explain why the wights didn’t attack him.
Pod is now a competent swordsman thanks to Brienne so it should not be surprising. Sam and Davos though, cannot fight well yet not a single stab wound hahaha. Their plot armors are really really thick.
The boar that killed robert baratheon has more main character kill to his credit than the night king got. My brain does not know how to process that information.

Winter is a season. The Night King doesn't bring winter. When Ned Stark was saying "Winter is coming" he didn't mean "the White Walkers are coming" because he didn't believe 100% that the white walkers are coming, even after he executes that night's watch guy that says he saw them. I don't mean to talk against your comment, not my intention.
@Danny Curtis Yes, I agree with you. But whether white walkers exist or not, winter would always come. During winter people "were born and lived their whole lives and died" without seeing the sun, or something like that was said about winter, in Season 1 I think. White walkers or not. Oh, and no, I am not making excuses for this season. I am very disappointed by this unrealistic season.
Once the show got super popular it atteacted all the people that give "reality" tv shows good ratings. That is why everyone loves arya teleporting from one plot hole to another plot hole. They dont care how stupid it is as long as it looks cool.
Ok seriously how is Sam not fucking dead? In season 2 (I think) was when was too slow to keep up with his brothers of NW and hid behind a rock as WW looked directly at him & screamed while marching by with all the wights. I guess even the WW didn't want him. He then gets very ucky and kills one to defend Gilly & the baby. Somehow he survived the Battle at Castle Black by doing nothing but letting Ghost out to kill Wildlings. Now this episode... There may even be more instances I don't remember.
Atticus X not watching Sunday , I’m over with this show. Someone might as well do a edit from season 1 to season 8 and take out all the white walker & nightking plot.
Arya Azor Ahai: the last hero who ended the Long Night. No question. GRRM loves his way with words (see: Hodor) Born amidst Salt and Smoke. Theon (salt), Aegon (fire and ice = smoke)... both Arya's family growing up, and both prominent characters during the Night Kings scene in the Godswood (Theon charging, Aegon fending off the Ice Dragon). "Lightbringer" - Already forged and right there in front of our faces since season 1. She is the princess who was promised... my opinion. At the least, there are no male heirs to Winterfell, Sansa is Queen of the North, and Arya the princess. At most, she is Aegon's cousin, family by blood, and a princess of Westeros and the Iron Throne. There must always be a Stark in Winterfell. When winter fell, it was a Stark who killed the NK, before, and again.
I like many people were ignoring the cracks forming before our very eyes. The Dorne plot was bad but it was mostly self contained. But then season 7 was really my breaking point. The map teleporting was worse than it had ever been in the past. The Frozen Lake Battle while fun was just broken narrative wise. And the death of Littlefinger until now was the most botched villain death on the show. But I hoped beyond hope the writers weren't fucking stupid and they could handle just 6 episodes fighting the dead, nothing complicated. Just make it across the finish line. We are almost there!......and finally the cracks that have been forming became a complete sink hole that opened up swallowing up the entire series. Great job guys! you had one job!
*Hears the sounds of angry yelling and fiery explosions in the Underworld* Hades: “WE WERE SO CLOSE!!! So close, we tripped at the finish line! Why? Because our little nutmeg has to go all noble!”
I wasn't ignoring them. Those cracks really lowered my expectations quite a bit as the series continued. But this episode was shockingly disappointing even for those of us who weren't expecting much anymore.
I had such high hopes :( Of course I knew they fucked up the last seasons. But my thought always was like: Well, they take 2 years, they can't ruin this. Just give us the Nightking killing his way up to Kingslanding, u can't fuck that up. Give us Jon&Khaleesi fight him off, give us their deaths. But no. Arya ninjajump. I cannot believe it ;/
She wasn't walking perfectly anything. She was almost crawling. The worst part about that is the stupid character who's good at critical ER surgery because she was such a strong woman she stabbed her men for cheating but in the end always kind hearted enough to save them. Yuck.

I've noticed that these rants have existed since season 5, but only this episode has made me binge watch all these rants about a Game of Thrones episode, this is the first time I was so alarmed by bad writing that I've decided to watch MULTIPLE 20 MINUTE videos about some random youtubers ranting about Game of Thrones, its that bad..
This is a natural progression for a show watcher, give or take random amounts of denial. But sadly I read the books because I couldn't understand the sequence when Theon was captured, then freed and then captured again. It made no sense to me, and I wanted to read the books to figure it out. But as it turned out, that bit wasn't even in the books, and I concluded right away that this had to mean that the show writers who added it are incompetent nincompoops. Oh, and the penis amputation isn't in the books either. or all the lewd talk about Podrick's penis. So you know, this is the intellectual level of the show writers. Good to know! And from there of course, I was correctly able to deduce that the show would turn to shit just as soon as they ran out of book to work with. And it did! Maybe I'm psychic.

She also uses the Mountain who in the books is the most ruthless physichotic killer of the entire story. She is willing to blow up Kings Landing before handing over the throne to Dany. The NK wants you dead then raised and added to his army and purpose. Cerci literally comes to steal, kill and destroy. The person who stands in the way of stopping the wheel stopping the ladder of chaos making the Universe right and seating the true heir to throne back to his rightful place is the Queen who sits on the throne. NK cares about no throne, no dragon queen, no Song of Ice and Fire only an endless night. Which then completely forbades then entire story from Roberts Rebellion to Aegon Targaryan taking the Iron Throne..
Seth Gyellins The screenplay writers are a duo of noobs, and really defensive about their shitty craft too ! . G.O.T. 's fans were kept in dark for two decades ( literally two decades , deluded into believing a fairytale or ending which never came to pass .It was like Hillary Clinton being touted as next president of the U.S. For decades , and finally a Mormon , retail mogul scoops in to steal the limelight . Yes , i know the U.S. presidential election analogy was spotaneous and maybe out of place .But the subterranean point is : riding on momentum the show had garnered , getting all viewers hopes up and finally sabotaging It up ( blowing It up ) should be a legal offence . Fans of this show spent years into watching your timelines and story -arcs ( Not for the thrills or nudity , but because of the uncertainty and novelty of concept ) .only to be let down in that defining moment . Hoping , that "Game of shitshow " will end soon...
Game of Thrones completely missed the point of it's own story, it's not just bad writing, it feels like the showrunners have never even watched their own show...
The night king’s goal for hundreds of years was to kill the 3-eyed raven? Why did he create an entire army to do that, why not just kill him when he was an immobile old man north of the wall
Actually, the Night King is over 8000 years old and had been killed before by Azor Ahan, only to remateralise again after a few decades which makes this unclimatic end even more stupid as they didn't defeat him properly (at the tree he was created on), which means he'll be back in a few decades again and will create a new army of White Walkers and Wights all over again...oh and unless they repair that wall, he will reinvade ever so easier.
Because of the magic that was protecting him in that cave. We saw that whigths couldnt enter the cave. But when NK touched brann the magic stopped working bc he touched him while he was in the cave. That left a mark. NO MARK ON ARYA'S NECK THO
James Haack Yeah it’s not like a lot of main characters die to stop someone that powerful.... No wait a lot of main character died. Well I guess some of the main characters died, Sam =Alive, Jon=Alive, Dany=Alive, Sansa=Alive. Unimportant characters =dead, Yeah I’m really going to miss them.
Mister Jayy “She’s been training since season 1” Ramsay wouldn’t stand a chance, even with Ser Twenty Goodmen and his brother Ser Ten Goodmen fighting alongside him
they were literally sending out the Dothraki all alone against tens of thousands of wights and to top it off, they had their normal iron swords.. no one even knew red woman was coming. Amazing strategy
Right? My boyfriend and I were watching it like, seriously? Assume Melisandre never came. They're going to send one of their most valuable weapons (cavalry) into the dark, into an unknown threat, with plain steel swords which can't kill wights? What the actual fuck? Who planned this shit?
Again....I guess...? I feel like they both ended more pathetic than heroic. All i had in mind was "poor Jorah and Theon" rather "good work you have completed your arc". I saw more than a few reactors liking this and crying but I just didn't feel it. I was hoping these characters would have affirmed themselves and take their own path in life rather than Jorah being a cuckhold to Dany till the end and Theon becoming Ramsey's little dog to ending up as Yara/the Stark little dog. There's the thing that I never felt like either characters needed redemptions.
This episode has already ruined the season for me, but I would love it if Arya gets over confident and goes to kill Cersei when suddenly the Mountain just destroys her lol. And maybe that could be an intro for Clegane Bowl.
Arya is just a sad shadow of her book character in the show. She’s so fucking annoying. The writers use her as a channel for promoting the fucking girl power narrative. I would absolutely love if she bought it before the end of the season. Good riddance.
I'm actually writing down a list of things that happened in the episode that are either counter to the lore or totally illogical. I'm on number 34 and still adding to it.
Jeffrey Koronin same here. I couldn’t even watch the 40 min behind the scenes on their official channel. But I might actually watch it because they might explain how Arya magically appeared out of nowhere to stab the nk. They really must take their viewers for idiots
I had a bad taste in my mouth halfway thru it, but wasn't able to process exactly why. NK gets killed by Arya and I went into denial for a second, then immediately got pissed bc nothing at all was coming together. Woke up Monday and thought perhaps I was too harsh. I rewatched Monday evening and found a million other things wrong. 🙄 Don't even get me started on the Inside the Episode with D&D.
James Haack Got it can’t handle criticism so you use that racism and sexist defense. Yeah you sure showed all of us by using the weakest defense ever. Thanks for proving how much this episode sucks.
Oh snap I can sense the hate in your heart. I’ve been watching and enjoying since season 1they just decided to focus on individual story lines rather than an actual plot or revelation. I said I was unsatisfied not that I hated it
Well, the last few seasons of game of thrones were made to appease the clueless masses of people who have no particular knowledge or taste. They wanted the popcorn crowd who watch american pie thinking it was one of the greatest philosophical works of the last generation.
"You need to switch your brain off and just enjoy it." "It's fantasy, you can't expect realism." "The ending made sense because if you squint at past episodes it was totally foreshadowed." All statements worthy of a throat-punch.

I can't understand why people praised the direction and cinematography. I thought it was poorly lit, the sequencing was bad, the continuity was worse, and aside from a couple of "wow" moments, the shot composition was terrible. And I'm of the opinion that the director is responsible for how things are edited, and the editing was full-on schizto-Michael Bay-on-steroids hard-cuts. It's like, we get it, battles are chaotic. But this was incoherent to the point that I didn't care about the battle any more, I was just annoyed.
Fan boys caught up in the hype. The Last Jedi was liked initially by many reviewers and fans. Then second viewings and a little thought settled in and it is largely detested by many if not most fans. This will be the same. It will slowly sink in and attitudes will change.
Hell, I thought the episode was amazing when it ended...then I woke up the next morning furious as to what D&D had done to arguably one of the greatest TV series' in history
It’s funny to me how many people have gotten mad at me for ruining the show for them, when all I did was explain the plot. ”Oh man I didn’t think of that” repeated over and over.
I think GRRM is no dummy... He told D&D how he's going to end the books so they can test it out on the show. If enough people hate it, you know he'll change that shit.
The producers/writers said they came up with this scene three years ago. George told them his ending ten years ago. They changed it for TV and probably because they failed Euron Greyjoy's story plus omitted some other important characters..
Where was Azor Ahai?! Where was Lightbringer?! Why did the White Walkers come back?! Why did they want to destroy the world?! Why was the Night King immune to dragon fire but dies to Valyrian steel?! Why did Jon do nothing when the Red Woman saw him in the fires being of great importance to defeating the Night King?!
Why was Jon ressurected? What was the purpose of Bran? Why Dothraki were sent to death so stupidly? Why the hell the human army even faced the Unded in the field? How Arya made that leap? Or in short, what was all this crap about?
Jon was important because he brought everyone together. Why does everyone think stabbing one guy is a super big deal, but bringing together the most powerful army and all the key people in the world together is no big deal? That's war. Your plans and prophecies don't survive contact with the enemy. You might have an epic battle with the enemy, but it's never going to go the way you expect. And really you're up against an army that disappears if their leader is killed. Doesn't it make more sense for an assassin to accomplish this than a general or a Queen or whatever it is you were expecting?

If they dont just send her to kill them all because "shes the best assassin in the world", then idk what to say 🤷♂️🤷♂️
This is the only sensible course of action. So they should send Arya. Not doing so is a plot hole. From a story perspective, it would suck for Arya to be successful. So she ought to die in an attempt to kill Cersei. This prevents a plot hole and is vintage Game of Thrones.
The NK commanded them to not do anything because he knew she was coming it was the hand switch that killed him
And she will.

Night King: We was robbed....
Jon Snow: You and me both pal.......

Season 1 a boar kills a king. Season 8 100000 undead that were smart enough to hit people in the throat couldn't kill Pod the Squire.
They couldn’t kill Sam as well, I don’t have a clue how he survived. Winter is a season. The Night King doesn't bring winter. @Danny Curtis Yes, I agree with you. But whether white walkers exist or not, winter would always come. During winter people "were born and lived their whole lives and died" without seeing the sun, or something like that was said about winter, in Season 1 I think. White walkers or not.

Arya Azor Ahai: the last hero who ended the Long Night. No question. GRRM loves his way with words (see: Hodor)
Born amidst Salt and Smoke.

And the death of Littlefinger until now was the most botched villain death on the show. But I hoped beyond hope the writers weren't fucking stupid and they could handle just 6 episodes fighting the dead, nothing complicated. Just make it across the finish line. @@GHQSTE That is incorrect. The show Game of Thrones is a humanist view of a single lie (Roberts Rebellion) starting the wheel the ladder of chaos. The NK, WW and the Army of the Dead or in the book the wights was always a story never thee story. It won't be the finale in the books either. GRRM follows a specific writing style that follows a specific pattern in all his writings. The Night King was never portrayed as purely evil, yes he's trying to bring a dawn of an endless night but it has been portrayed as completely evil and as the main antogonist. We didn't even know what his purpose was and the only character he had actually killed was Viseryion the Dragon. We still don't know his purpose or motive. Cerci has been cold and ruthless since day 1. She has murdered Robert, her Uncle, Cousin, Queen Margery, the Tyrels, High Sparrow, Lady of Dorne and countless citizens. She was responsible for Neds death and the trial vs Tyrion. She has 3 bastard children 2 who have illegally become Kings. She has now recruited her brothers loyal friend Braun to kill them both. NK cares about no throne, no dragon queen, no Song of Ice and Fire only an endless night. night hawk where tf did the nk and the ww go after that? Like wtaf did they just see the wights being held up and think “fuck better turn around”

50043211 You mean to imply "Dumb and dumber " ? .🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦😏😏😏😏😂😂😂😂😂😂
What? I thought Ryan Johnson would do that.
When it comes to killing off Star Wars, you can not kill that which does not live.
@@ComicGladiator What is dead may never die.
You mean denial is lost. JJ and Johnson already killed off hope with their first round of sequel bs.
This video is one of the best takes on the terrible ending of the Night King.
Have you seen MauLer's video?
ThatHandsomeDevil08 Yep I’m so glad these guys made these videos - I love this guy’s “are you kidding me!?!!!” 😂
Who would win?
Shirtless Ramsay and his 20 good men OR Arya "𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶" Stark
To make it a real competition, arya would have to have no limbs...then maaaaybe Ramsay would have a chance....cuz she's a trained assassin.
Mister Jayy “She’s been training since season 1”
Ramsay wouldn’t stand a chance, even with Ser Twenty Goodmen and his brother Ser Ten Goodmen fighting alongside him
TWANNY GUD MEN
Cheerful Pessimist Mary Sue teleport mode
they were literally sending out the Dothraki all alone against tens of thousands of wights and to top it off, they had their normal iron swords.. no one even knew red woman was coming. Amazing strategy
damn i just said that myself, like it looks like suicide was the plan before she shows up and says no kill yourself like this.
Ride into the darkness and fight
Right? My boyfriend and I were watching it like, seriously? Assume Melisandre never came. They're going to send one of their most valuable weapons (cavalry) into the dark, into an unknown threat, with plain steel swords which can't kill wights? What the actual fuck? Who planned this shit?
@@vegasgirl3538 2 shitty writers.
Characters with plot armor survive without actual armor.
Characters with actual armor get stabbed through their armor.
What happened to trantadarmour eh? and the big f***ing sword
Jorah is quite possibly the only character whose story arc actually had a satisfying ending.
Bhuwan Khatri
Good point.
All the characters that died were the lucky ones tbh. God, I wish the NK killed everyone instead. Dude was really trying to save us all 😂.
I...guess..? People feeling that Jorah and Theon's storyarc being good cause they died was sort of pathetic.
Johnny Skinwalker
Who said it was good because they died? Both characters had motives of redemption that were played out in full.
And maybe that could be an intro for Clegane Bowl.
why would you want that to happen lol. oh yeah i forgot i am on a hate channel.
@@foodini666 Because its GAME OF THRONES. No one is supposed to be fucking safe.
Dude, I would LOVE to see that happen... Arya gets crushed like Oberyn, and then the Hound goes apeshit on his brother.
Arya is just a sad shadow of her book character in the show. She’s so fucking annoying. The writers use her as a channel for promoting the fucking girl power narrative. I would absolutely love if she bought it before the end of the season. Good riddance.
Mountain already has an epic kill with Oberyn so he's not having another one.
Arya did NOT jump on the Night King....
She FLEW.
I'm Arya Poppins, y'all
She flew down like Batman did from the gargoyles in Arkham Asylum.. wtf game of thrones?!
Bran lifted her with the ravens clearly
she mike jordan slam dunked onto him
Bran warged her 😁
The directors: This will be the long night awesome big battle!
Dothraki: LEEEEEROOOOYYY JENNNKIIINNNSSSSSSSS
Underrated comment, my friend!
You're the real hero.
Your reaction to the night king's death is so cathartic for me. I will just never get over what they did to my favorite series. 😢
I feel ya, I have never railed on an episode of GOT until this one. The more I think about this episode, the more I dislike it.
Don't even get me started on the Inside the Episode with D&D.
I feel so unsatisfied . 90% of the viewers are easily impressed by the action it was a great episode for them
Same here, so dissapointing. Lighting, character and build up urghh
90% of people or more aren't racist/sexist cucks that watch hate youtube channels 24/7 like you?
James Haack Got it can’t handle criticism so you use that racism and sexist defense. Yeah you sure showed all of us by using the weakest defense ever. Thanks for proving how much this episode sucks.
Oh snap I can sense the hate in your heart. I’ve been watching and enjoying since season 1they just decided to focus on individual story lines rather than an actual plot or revelation.
I said I was unsatisfied not that I hated it
James Haack You’re getting roasted out here bro. Where in his comment did he act racist or sexist. He said he was disappointed in the end.
Night Kings death is the most stupid thing ever done in GAME OF THRONES
The worst argument I keep hearing is 'You are talking about being realistic in a show with dragons and zombies, are you dumb LMAO' and I just can't
Well, the last few seasons of game of thrones were made to appease the clueless masses of people who have no particular knowledge or taste. They wanted the popcorn crowd who watch american pie thinking it was one of the greatest philosophical works of the last generation.
"You need to switch your brain off and just enjoy it."
"It's fantasy, you can't expect realism."
"The ending made sense because if you squint at past episodes it was totally foreshadowed."
All statements worthy of a throat-punch.
Then i would say to that arse, why don't Dragons fly backwords and throw flame from his Ass?
Now tell me that does not make any sense.
just turn your brain off bro
Association of Free People this is so accurate, thanks for this comment. Will keep this in mind
3ER: ...But first you must learn!
Bran: Learn what?
3ER: Everything.
Me: Why?
Because he's the VCR for humanity, a recorder for future 3 eyed ravens, and thus, future civilizations.
@@MinecraftDude1245peni Right, which was relevant to the plot how? Why was the Night King after the raven, in his many incarnations? How are warging, greenseeing and the army of the dead connected? We'll never know, because Benioff and Weiss never bothered to even ask these questions.
ahh you cohesively brought all my thoughts about ep 3 together, thank you!!!!! i've been MAD about this shit since sunday night, bUT NO ONE ELSE UNDERSTANDS :'(
i understand :')
i do too this episode was the worst :(
I get it. I have been through stages of grief all week. 8 years of loyally watching for nothing.
Be careful, you're making too much sense...this will upset the walking dead fans...I mean, got fans.
Maisie Williams BF when he was told Arya kills the NK: "Should really be Jon though shouldn't it?" - Done.
"Also, I'm leaving you. I'm sorry but after that I just can't."
So if the Dothraki did not have their swords on fire were they about to charge defenseless because they did not have any weapon known to kill wights
were their swords not made of dragon glass i presume?
@@ronoccc I don't think so the Dragon glass weapons all look a little kitbashed but the Dothraki swords looked too well made.
Maybe Jon thought the dead could do with a few more men. Very noble of him...
I laughed too for Lyanna's death scene
Same lol goofy twit pissed me off
She looked ridiculous lol
I don't know why people like that annoying stupid girl
Right ? I laughed when she was punched ( i thought she must be death, because 100kg hand of giant smash 30kg little girl in can ), and when she grabed her and take a close up look on her a was sure i watching some parody ..........
Right, like what is this child gonna do in this battle? Seriously, she's just this super brave child...whatever.
What did bran and jon do in this entire ep ?they were completely useless... they couldnt have ruin the story line more..
summer 7878 they literally have no purpose now Jon doesn’t want to be king but they’ll somehow make it so he has no choice but to stand up to Dany as for Bran what was the point of Bran his whole story amounted to absolutely nothing just as I thought it would
So much for Rhaegars promised Prince haha
Bran was training the crows...
Exactly , and you'll still see ppl say it's fine..Arya needed this moment!
I don't mind her killing the NK but come on, This easy? We don't get Jon 1v1 with the NK , the other WW don't even have a fight scene, Jon couldn't even kill the Dragon. I and every OG fan is extremely disappointed.
@@_adil- arya could use a face of white walker to kill the night king ..but they just made her fly and jump on night king.im sure that daenerys will be death in the end for a stupid reason. Cuz "fans should be suprised and shocked who cares about story lines"
Completely agree with you. Total BS ending to 8 year Night King story arc.
Trash fire of an episode.
Without the light of the fire though. Cause we'd actually be able to see something.
The Hound has left the chat
You're not alone.
This was the worst episode of Game of Thrones.
Probably the only episode I'm not even gonna rewatch... not worth it.
Worse than the one that killed the 70,000 troops the Reach has that are well fed, well paid, well resourced ... all off screen?
Shryce , its hard to re watch something when you couldn't see it in the first place.
The entire series because of one stupid episode.
Why rewatch GRRM's glorious storytelling when you know D&D just shit all over it in the end?
When you have to explain which dragons/characters lived that’s when you know you have a badly directed battle.
The lighting was just awful. Whoever was in charge of the lighting needs to be fired.
Dotharki's blood riders with flaming weapons..
Azor ahai's legendary flaming sword: am i a joke to you!?!
90% of TH-cam GOT reviewers liked this episode.
I'm not sure which annoyed me more the show itself or the sycophants reviewing it.
TRW1974 soooo sad
Hell, I thought the episode was amazing when it ended...then I woke up the next morning furious as to what D&D had done to arguably one of the greatest TV series' in history
It’s funny to me how many people have gotten mad at me for ruining the show for them, when all I did was explain the plot. ”Oh man I didn’t think of that” repeated over and over.
I have been watching rants for the last 3 days. This is my favorite so far.
Paker Doğu Özdemir haha me too
Writing was a mistake
-George R. R. Martin
I think GRRM is no dummy... He told D&D how he's going to end the books so they can test it out on the show. If enough people hate it, you know he'll change that shit.
LOL He did not write this , the Producers did .
The producers/writers said they came up with this scene three years ago. George told them his ending ten years ago. They changed it for TV and probably because they failed Euron Greyjoy's story plus omitted some other important characters..
To all ppl telling me over the years that GOT Is superior to Breaking Bad. Where's your god now?
My god is in New Mexico trying to write a book
@@joshuaherbert30 Is that what he's doing? Huh.
@@jaceksudol8301 for sjw,
Jon was important because he brought everyone together.
@@tosh40638 Arya didn't kill him like an assassin would. Where the hell was the facestealing power she learned? I thought she was going to disguise as one of his Luitenents at least.

Arya make a 20 meter jump over all white walkers and stab the nightking who even can see the future. Its so stupid
I watched maybe a half dozen episode reviews, including several by people with followers and views in the hundreds of thousands. This is by far the most even handed and accurate of any of them.
Most youtubers have no choice but to praise this episode. They built their entire channel on GoT content. The masses are to dumb to understand how bad this episode was. If they speak the truth their channel will crash and burn. No way they will take that risk with spinoffs coming.

@@Maibuwolf I saw more rants than praises. But maybe that's my TH-cam algorithm bubble 😁
