Congratulation's @waltbailey2345, you won the drawing for the popup giveaway from the last video! Use the "business email" available in my Channel BIO to contact me with your info for the giveaway. I don't like to paste my email addresses out there for the BOTs to scour and claim for junk mail, but if it gives you troubles let me know and we'll go another way!
FYI - Shapton Kuromaku might be Magnesia binder and not Resinoid. I've seen conflicting information saying both, I've reached out to verify, but Arashiyama stones are Resinoid, so maybe that can give a decent reference if Shapton are not actually resinoid. I'll update once I hear from Shapton.
Are the stones you demonstrated 7.1"Lx2.4"Wx0.8"H? If so, would you please ask the company if they plan to come up with a size of 8"x3" or close to it?
I answered this question when you originally posted it, but it seems to have disappeared? Anyway, they are as you asked, 7.1" x2.4" x 0.8 / 1". The company is working on a new line, and have others in their line up as well. I will get a list of the sizes available across the lines they have currently as well as the upcoming new line sizes.
I am as well, but I don't mind a "short soaker", which these are. Their RIN series is the same as the FUKAMI, but the RIN is harder and they are Splash N go stones. That is the one I am getting ready to release videos on, the RIN series. They also have a few other series, So-Issou, Togeru and Sogu, but the Togeru and Sogu are only available until stock is depleted, then they will no longer be available.
