This video will breakdown everything you need to know to "game plan" how you will pass and thrive in EMT school. The most important step is to take action now before you get into school, it will make your schooling much easier and you'll retain the information better. Video Study Course: www.prepareforems.com
Personally I think getting through the class will be harder than the test. I'm 60 years old and just want to help people and school is beating me up with the online suff
I feel you, Brother! I'm soon to be 54. All of this education technology is killing me! Adaptive tests, interactive videos, etc. Give me printed books, and paper forms, and I'll rule the day! Hang in there!!!
I just started the EMT course online. I turned 40 back in May. Personally for me I have a hard time learning in the classroom listening to a lecture (especially after a TBI in the Army). I like to go back and re read the chapters, listen to the audiobooks or lectures as many times as I need. I joined the Prep program as well $67, to help pass the course and the tests that's a no brainer.
Rushed home (safely🙂) from night EMT class to catch your new video! Your program has helped so much! I killed it today in our skills lab thanks to you! Told everyone in class about you when they asked how I already knew this stuff so well. I hope they took my advice and joined your program! #bonus
Thanks for the content. I’m buying your emt video series, because the first time I signed up, I showed up day one for emt school and was so overwhelmed by the amount of information. This is going to be a huge help the second time around
@@TheParamedicCoach seriously, thank you so much! I failed my first time, then I found out about your course and I passed my second attempt. If anyone is reading this comment and needs help because your course is cut short because of COVID or your instructor wasn’t so great give Evans course a try? Seriously!
@@TheParamedicCoach you give the meat and potatoes of passing the test and you actually TEACH the material. Your calm demeanor also helps when listening to your content and all the reassurance. Haha man I was going through my nremt test and could hear your voice saying AAC when I got a question about wheezing!
Welcome to the channel, Michael! If you are in school or preparing school, I recommend my Video Study course to get you back on track. www.prepareforems.com Be Great! Evan, The Paramedic Coach
I bought your program like a year ago. I'm in an accelerated emt course right now, only 5 weeks long! Definitely using your videos. It's so much information, but your videos make it way easier to understand. Thank you!
Sorry, I know this comments old but I'm halfway through my fast track 1 month course and struggling to retain info, did you eventually pick It up along the way
I'm going through the videos in your study course right now for the first time. I pause at the beginning, take all the notes down, then watch the content. If you add something verbally, I write it. I'm trying for a full section per day. (Today was Skeletal System) After I make it through I'm going to go back and watch all the videos a second time. Guess what? When it's time for me to take the NREMT, I'll have my written notes as a study guide AND the videos as a study guide. I start class at the end of this month! #letsgo #emt #paramedic #nremt #emtstudent
I took a Medical terminology course and A&P. Class Hopefully i can master the skills in EMT as well as the Academic portion and the EMS pharmaceutical stuff.
I started taking EMT classes on Coursera to learn EMT stuff before taking a class locally. I wish I took your class first. Coursera is a 6 course program, $49 per course. I’m thinking of finishing my current course and switching just to you to learn everything I need before going to school. While it’s been helpful it’s not what I want. I learn more alone on TH-cam and the books I’ve purchased. They basically gave me a guide on what to look up. I want someone who knows what to teach, what I need to prepare for, I want real life before I invest in this new career. I want to be ready and do this right. I know I’ll be getting your program ASAP

@@TheParamedicCoach thanks so much! I've signed up and can't wait to get started. I have a question though....I'm a book person, there's just something about physically going thru a book, highlighting, annotating and stuff that I enjoy and get something out of. Is there one you would recommend that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I don't know which book my local class uses yet so I can't purchase that. I've gotten the affordable ones from Amazon (EMT flashcards from REA & Crash Course EMT from REA & of course an anatomy book from Kaplan). There's not really any others that I see that are screaming at me to get, and the ones I do like are over a hundred dollars so I don't know if it's worth it, or should I just wait until I start class? Im sure your class has SO much, but any recommendations for additional books for us book nerds?

My emt teacher was in idiot like I don’t know how he still has a job. I taught myself everything and I went in completely blind. I wish this was out a year ago before I was in class but oh well. Thanks to covid I didn’t get to take the nremt until November 2020 when I ended the class in February 2020 I finally have a retest in 9 days. I wish I would’ve had these resources thank you for what you are doing. Would you make a video helping students like me who are teaching themselves know the best resources? Hey! This is twice in a week I was first to respond to an accident. Last week I decided to be an EMT due to the wreck. Spent all week studying, boom. Couldn't believe it had only been a week between. I was ready. You could only hear an enraged man from the smoke from the collision. He got out of the car so fast he left it in drive rolling down the highway. I stopped him from coming after the other car that spun across the road from the impact. Told him quickly a wreck happened last week He then began chasing his car. So first Question, I am great at de-escalation. I take no account for my size of 4'11...thus my family is now worried about my safety. Any tips
