I love all of your ideas. I also like that your filming is fast. With four little ones you get a lot done. I am 77 and my husband of 58 years just passed. IT has been very hard and watching you has helped me. Thank you
From drab to fab. I love how it came out. That is a very pretty color. I love to see you and your husband working together. The plates add a nice touch.
What a phenomenal makeover! It turned out so pretty and I love your vision for storage. Thanks for showing us how to do it by cutting it apart with a drimmel. We have an entertainment center that I would like to make over and cut the top off. This video gives me a little more courage.
I have copper boot trays in my boot room cupboard. When they fetch nasty with dust and dirt I can just take them outside and hose them off. Works better than baskets for boots. I use baskets for hats and gloves. I put up hooks by the door so we would each have a hook. Currently my husband uses every single hook. Plus the near by basket hanger now holds all his hats. Oh well, best laid plans...
You go girl......once more painting without getting a drop of paint on the floor! Great job! Love how it turned out! I'm an eye baller too! The one time I tried to hang a picture using a level, I could't get it straight!
I think this was a great idea for a hutch that was no longer needed or loved. I see Pinterest ideas of people painting hutches, some removing the glass doors, some removing all of the doors etc. but I think your idea was a great repurposing of something that is useful and needed in your home. I think this unit will help your kids stay organized too. And I love the paint color.
I love the choice of paint colors. Early in my marriage I had French provincial furniture very similar to your piece. It was not practical with five kids under the age of 10. I wish I had it now. Over the many years of my marriage I fell in love with all kinds of furniture. The last twenties years I’ve settled into a traditional style with cherry pieces mixed in. I think you’ve done very well with your free piece of furniture
Beautiful paint job and perfect distressing - lightly with sand paper, not taking an electric sander to it. A lovely piece! I now turn pieces upside down first when painting, because it's a game changer. I have a Dremel in a box, somewhere in the garage. You've inspired me to use it. Thanks!
I did my Hutch over with White and the top and middle wood pieces I left as the original wood it’s white and I did this many years ago now I just love it have not tired of it . Your makeover on this is just beautiful Cori the painting when sped up is so relaxing also makes good relaxation 😂
What a great idea to keep the clutter down. It does take quite a bit of room. Luckily I only had 2 kids! I could see something like this by the front door to hold shoes and boots. Also school projects. I might put a calendar on the end with school stuff on it. Kids really like to be organized but we don’t always help them get that way. I do like what you hung on the wall around it!
Yes! I am an eyeballer! 😅 I love your channel, it's so easy to watch and listen to you, and everything is so plain and simple. It helps to have the same taste in everything you do as well. Thank you for sharing and just being you! 🎉😊❤
Great makeover Cory and Manny!!! Would love to see the hutch looks once school is back in session!! No need to make it look pretty or neat... just a real life picture!!
I love the idea that you took a hutch and turned it into a hall tree. My only concern is that it’s not gonna hold up because the slick stick needs to sit overnight to get the correct adhesion and it looks like you did it all in one day. it turned out beautiful.
At first i I to hought oh no, but I really love the way it turned out. I can't envision how to refurbish things. You really have a great gift! Love the little picture beside it.
My sister just became the owner of a hutch just like this one and we are going to do almost the same to it. Thank you for the inspiration and helping us salvage this beautiful piece of furniture. BTW, i told her you are now located in the H-town area and want to come see your booth. ❤
What a great idea for re-use! I love the blues you choose - same colors that make me happy 😊. The plates look so nice up behind the hutch. Glad you added them back. Thanks for sharing!❤
Beautiful piece. Idea.. mount the top of the hutch to the wall over the trim. That way you can use the top of the bottom hutch. It makes it look taller. Also, Manny needs a better pair of protective eye wear 😊 Beautiful and functional.
It turned out so pretty. I love the color and I want to use it to paint a piece of furniture of mine. It’s a color that blends nicely with everything. Nice job!
That top shelf is good to put things”up” from baby.! Love this today! Having wood on 2 parts gives balance! Kids will help put things away on open shelves ❤️👍🏻
It’s really good how you turned this hutch into something functional for your home . I don’t measure anything either I just eyeball it drives my husband crazy
I love it. The color is so pretty, and the light distressing is spot on. And I also love your blue plates!! Can't wait to see you taking the wall down and the makeover. ❤❤
I agree with moving the top shelf up so that you can access the top hooks. Why not be able to hang several things on them. Beautiful repurposed use of this hutch. You will get plenty of use from it now with four kids!! 😊
Love everything you guys do!! 🤍 I binge watched your channel when I discovered it a little while back and I love all of your upcycles and repurposing and tips you give. And, I love the Goodwill bins (maybe a little too much 😆). Mine is only a couple of minutes from where I work so every day is a struggle to stay away lol. Keep upcycling and repurposing and I’ll keep watching and learning! 👍🏼
I think it turned out beautiful. I love Duck Egg! I am kit a fan of the blue and white plates above it. I think pure cream ironstone would look nice. The other thing that might have been fun is some fun larger decor pieces nestled on the top to fill the space. Nonetheless, it’s gorgeous and you guys did a great job.
Hello my friend! Sorry I've missed A couple videos🫤 I hate missing your videos! But I've had A tough & quite crazy couple weeks lately! So I'm excited to finally be back! Ohh Wow.. great piece to score for free! Love what you did withas the hutch, its pretty awesome! I love it!❤ If i had space for one like this, I'd love to have one! Perfect mud room or entry way piece.. especially if you have school age kids! I have a old hall tree my daughter gave me but its just the regular size, not the smallest but a nice size for an entry way. Love the hooks you used.. Really pretty! I love how you decorated around it as well. girl you know i love everything you do😁 Seriously, its really a great piece! TFS😊
I eyeball pretty much everything I can get away with 😊. I think of it as more organic and less industrial that way 😂 I love the idea of turning an old hutch into a entryway beauty. I can’t believe how gorgeous those hooks are and how well they fit with the redesign look 😊 you are giving me ideas for my cabin ❣️🥰
So beautiful! I love the makeover,, but I would move that shelf up above the hooks. That way, it can still hold baskets but you have more room when you go to hang something.
Beautiful! Love the color. You have some amazing ideas. Im always afraid Im going to mess up big time. I couldnt eyeball the side of a barn. Ive tried with hanging pictures. But youre certainly good at it. Love from a sister in Christ.
I love all of your ideas. I also like that your filming is fast. With four little ones you get a lot done. I am 77 and my husband of 58 years just passed. IT has been very hard and watching you has helped me. Thank you
I'm sorry that you lost your husband. Sending love and hugs your way...xoxo
Please screw/anchor the top portion to the wall. With the kids pulling off their backpacks etc. It could fall off on top of them. Tyvm
Great point
Love the color and the design.
@@DesertDIY MOST DEFINITELY agree with bolting it to the wall!
I love your little helpers: the 4 legged one and the 2 legged one. 😊
Beautiful.
I love it!! New to the channel, watched your sister in law house makeover. Your super smart, and I love that hubby is a great helper!!❤
From drab to fab. I love how it came out. That is a very pretty color. I love to see you and your husband working together. The plates add a nice touch.
What a brilliant flip! I wish I had room in my foyer for something like that. Plenty of storage and beautiful, too.

Smart idea to transform the display cabinet into storage for backpacks and shoes! And I agree it should be anchored to the wall for safety.
I love it! It seems I love everything you do, lol.
That's great to hear! Thank you
Great hall tree/ storage piece! Great creative thinking outside the box in repurposing that hutch!
I'm really loving this color of paint. Awesome idea with the higher shelf. Beautifully done.
Have a wonderful week.
Thank you! You too!
You go girl......once more painting without getting a drop of paint on the floor! Great job! Love how it turned out!
I'm an eye baller too! The one time I tried to hang a picture using a level, I could't get it straight!
Yes! We need to star an eyeballer club haha.

Beautiful makeover. And I love the blue and white plates above it, I have a collection myself!
Thank you! 🤗 we have great taste 😉

Thanks, Cory, for this flip! Love the color! This looks so amazing. The hooks work perfectly. Great find! 👍
It looks lovely and I love that you reused something instead of buying new.
Awe Henry Kisses at the end was so cute ❤
I did my Hutch over with White and the top and middle wood pieces I left as the original wood it’s white and I did this many years ago now I just love it have not tired of it . Your makeover on this is just beautiful Cori the painting when sped up is so relaxing also makes good relaxation 😂
That's wonderful! Thank you! I agree it looks so relaxing
Great makeover. Thanks for sharing and thanks for more detailed explanation of Dremel! You and hubby make a great team.
Its so nice to see how you work so well as a couple raising your sweet family.
😊 thank you
I love the transformation 🩵💙. And I love watching you and Manny work together to beautifie your home🩵💙. I am an eye baller too, lol😊.

Hahaha we are in it together
Great makeover Cory and Manny!!! Would love to see the hutch looks once school is back in session!! No need to make it look pretty or neat... just a real life picture!!
Haha I'll have to add it into a video
I love the idea that you took a hutch and turned it into a hall tree. My only concern is that it’s not gonna hold up because the slick stick needs to sit overnight to get the correct adhesion and it looks like you did it all in one day.
it turned out beautiful.
Really great update to this piece. So many DIYers are renovating these old dining room pieces…so many options! Love how this one turned out. 👏👏👏
Beautiful, can also used dark brown baskets in it too😊
Great job on that flip. I would have never thought it was a hutch. Very creative unique idea..
Wow what a beautiful transformation
Thank you! 🤗
At first i I to hought oh no, but I really love the way it turned out. I can't envision how to refurbish things. You really have a great gift! Love the little picture beside it.
This is so nice! Thank you for demonstrating the dremel. I was very curious about that tool. I think I will have to get one.
my mother did that wood grain look to her metal front door in 1984 ..looked just like wood...love watching ur vids
My sister just became the owner of a hutch just like this one and we are going to do almost the same to it. Thank you for the inspiration and helping us salvage this beautiful piece of furniture. BTW, i told her you are now located in the H-town area and want to come see your booth. ❤
Love the color and great repurposing of that huge piece of furniture! And yes, I am an eyeballer too. 👀 My hubby says I have level eyes! 😅😂
Y'all this is so pretty and functional, if I had the room, I would definitely go shopping all the thrift stores for one like this!!
What a great idea for re-use! I love the blues you choose - same colors that make me happy 😊.
The plates look so nice up behind the hutch. Glad you added them back. Thanks for sharing!❤
I love this. I have an old wood gun case that would transform similar to this! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hey Cory, thanks for the video. I love how you work so well with your husband! That unit turned out great❤ ❤
What a very creative idea, I love it!! You did an awesome job too.
My husband and I are both eye ballers. Works for us!
Now that was a fabulous switch from china hutch to entry way nicely done!
Beautiful piece. Idea.. mount the top of the hutch to the wall over the trim. That way you can use the top of the bottom hutch. It makes it look taller. Also, Manny needs a better pair of protective eye wear 😊
Beautiful and functional.
Love the makeover, especially the color! And I'm an eyeballer too! 👀😊
Yay! Thank you!
Pretty piece, love the wood accent. I am an eyeballer and I rarely tape off stuff I am painting.
I really like what you did with the free hutch. It looks great and useful too.
Thanks for putting the safety goggles on your hubby! I was getting worried for him! 😊
My favorite color for furniture.😃
Oh my word, that is absolutely gorgeous. If only I had the talent and will to do this type stuff.
I can't believe you did this in one day! Looks great. So does your hair
Love it!! The hooks are everything!! I’m an eye baller too!! Drives my husband nuts!!🥰
Haha yes! My husband hates that too
I love that you put your willow ware back on the wall! That is my all time favorite pattern!
Absolutely love it! I’m definitely not an eyeballer! Great job guys. Take care. Charlotte xx🇬🇧
That piece looks AWESOME with that paint color!! I'm an eye baller too!!
Great idea on this hutch. Turned out very nice, Cory ❤

Cory this looks so beautiful ❤❤❤. Yes I’m an eye baller 🤣

Smart idea! Love that blue colour!
Thank you!
You & your husband did a fantastic job on the hutch-perfect for your style & very useful! Thanks for the great inspiration!
Stunning project, I’m sure it will be very useful for your family!
I love it. The color is so pretty, and the light distressing is spot on. And I also love your blue plates!! Can't wait to see you taking the wall down and the makeover. ❤❤
Really pretty colour you chose.
Thank you!
I agree with moving the top shelf up so that you can access the top hooks. Why not be able to hang several things on them. Beautiful repurposed use of this hutch. You will get plenty of use from it now with four kids!! 😊
That would work. They actually work well already where they are. It appears closer than it really is I think. We've been able to use them all
The plates above look great too. Perfect
Love everything you guys do!! 🤍 I binge watched your channel when I discovered it a little while back and I love all of your upcycles and repurposing and tips you give. That turned out amazing. It’s so beautiful.
Beautiful as usual. Love the color and wood mix. ❤
Beautiful! Add matching baskets on bottom😊
The bright blue plates seem to jar and not mesh with the duck egg blue. That is a great use for an old outdated hutch.
Great idea and you did such a wonderful job!
Thank you so much!
Another great flip😊
Fantastic work. Everything looks beautiful!
Thank you very much!
Looks amazing!!! Beautiful and practical🎉
Thank you!
