WHY DOES NO ONE EVER TALK ABOUT NORBERT LEO BUTZ’S VIBRATO
I thought the present day idina was going to be from the wicked anniversary but that video wasn’t too bad
@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever I prefer Willemijn Verkaik over Idina but I feel bad that Idina wrecked her voice by not taking care of it properly. I think she sounded good back then, just not as good now
Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever ummmmmm okay
@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever so you're in another comment telling people to be respectful of you not being able to handle high operatic notes, but you're in many comments absolutely shitting on idina, and now willemijn, in very disrespectful ways.
Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever what does being British have to do with posting rude comments on the internet?
@Tucker,Fearn and Bentley’s Angel Forever Wha??
Colm Wilkinson, wow just wow. Even at 70 he still sounds just as good if not better. So good.
Just imagine what it would be like if someone did this video again like 30 years from now... pretty sure the lineup would include:
1. Ben Platt ("Waving Through a Window")
2. Barrett Wilbert Weed ("Dead Girl Walking")
3. Sophia Anne Caruso ("Dead Mom")
And OF COURSE...
4. Lin-Manuel Miranda (literally anything because I can't narrow it down to one song)
Hearing Colm at 70 nail that note at a soft dynamic but with a resonant overtone makes me smile on the inside. And then hearing everyone go wild, such a beautifully aged voice☺️
Adam Pascal was made to play Roger.
Idina and Kristin will always be my queens
Patti lupone, Dear Lord her voice is amazing
I love listening to how much richer the voices get.
Omg Patti was crying 😭
how does bernadette have such a bangin body at 65
Kristen Chenoweth, boss alert. She is a great singer, she could probably pull of replaying her roll as Glinda. And Idina Menzel, wowzer.
Hardly any effort into Idina Menzels second performance, and she sounds great.
Barbara Walsh!!! I love falsettos!!
Belting your heart out, broom in hand, whilst being levitated to the top of the ceiling with a whole chorus of singers at your feet.
That must be the most amazing feeling ever.
EDIT: Oh, and being green 😂
Omg Norbert Leo Butz😍😍😍
Mandy Patinkin, Patti LuPone and Ethel Merman's voices seem to stay the most consistent and rich years on. Mark of their status as Broadway legends
No matter what he's in, every time I see Mandy Patinkin my brain cannot help but think "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Same, honey. 🤣🤣
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he also in the first two seasons of criminal minds? If not, the resemblance is uncanny lol
Best part was Ramin and Colm singing the end of Bring Him Home. Just WOW
ethel sounds THE. SAME. what a legend she was. she paved the way for so many women also in this video!!
BERNADETTE LOOKS AMAZING JESUS
PSA ABOUT SARAH BRIGHTMAN: Give 👏🏻her👏🏻a👏🏻break👏🏻 She has been singing those notes for 30 years. Your voice will take a hit after singing those notes a lot. Its like Idina Menzel. Her vocal chords got damaged after belting at a high range for so long. How Sarah definitely wasn’t the best, but she tried her best and she did super well after 30 years. When you sing the high notes that she has sang for 30 years and can still hit them at age 58 without having to change the key signature, let me know and we can talk. Sarah is and will always be The Angel Of Music. (Also Micheal Crawford is The Angel Of Music)
Rey Menacher But at a certain point you have to recognize it’s time to give it up...so your fans don’t have to continually defend you by saying “her vocal cords are damaged” and “she tried her best”
I thought it actually sounded good....I’m confused 🤷♂️
Tiana Joiner no. People should sing as long as it brings them joy. Don’t like it? Don’t buy a ticket to their show.
Mark R. Thanks for the tip. My comment was about her singing this particular song though, not retiring her singing career.
Tiana Joiner She’s never really gonna stop until she dies or Phantom closes. She’s has a job as the original Christine to keep singing these songs. She’s part of the reason Phantom is still alive
3 words Patti Lupone's voice...
That is all...
It’s amazing how after so many years they still have it in them 💖💖
OMG. I Love Colm Wilkinson. Tears.Tears.
Well, you've made your point! A good singer is like a fine wine; they get better with time!
Mr. Golightly this is fantastic. I loved the comparisons whether I was a fan of the singer or not. So awesome to see the differences.
You can't even compare Brightman with the likes of Boggess, so idk why people put her on a pedestal. She was decent in 1988 and just screaming now.
Some say that Colm Wilkinson is still sustaining that note to this day…
(Brilliant video! 😁)
*Adam*
(I love vines)
Idina never seems to age, incredible!
Don't know most of them (I only now starting to learning about Broadway starts) but LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
I love that duet between Ramin Karimloo Colm Wilkinson ❤️
Patti Lupine is a goddess. Even at 70, she can still bring a house down with her voice
It kinda baffles me that all of the original Wicked cast members were in their mid-thirties when they did the show, I always picture those characters as younger. Otherwise, let me just say most of these people are doing amazingly after all this time.
I think Bernadette Peters aged backwards.
They are so talented!!
Is a amazing generations of singers!!
Idina's vocals🤯❤️❤️
Wow, Idina sounds waaaayyyy healthier in his video than she has in others
I saw Mr Neleey in 2016...his voice was so powerfull and his presence on stage was wonderfull😍
This is so much talent put in a single video! I love it.
how is it almost all of them managed to stay SO. GOOD
Patti’s voice has stayed almost the same! Dang! There’s re a few differences here and there but for the most part she has been amazingly consistent with it!
Man, the Merm never ceases to amaze me.
Patti Lupone is incredible, at age 69 she’s still able to pull off a flawless emotional performance.
Gosh I am in love with Idina's voice.. 2003 AND 2018.. she is Amazing.
Patti, wow just wow!
